Summer is the time for outdoor sports and you can protect your teeth, cheeks, gums and lips with a low-cost mouth guard. It could save you from a knocked out or chipped tooth, and it will prevent you from grinding your teeth during the big game.
No really, just dont. Weve all seen someone open a bottle with their teeth. An amazing feat? Nope, but a great way to cause micro fractures in your teeth. Using your teeth to rip open potato chip bags or to crush ice are also no nos.
The short answer is no. You most likely cannot sunburn your teeth. Shwew! Your lips on the other hand can sunburn. In fact, your lips might be the most susceptible to sunburn. Its important not to rely on regular sunscreen to protect your lips, choose a lip balm with a minimum of SPF 15. It is designed for your lips, and it will stick better. And just like with sunscreen, remember to reapply it every couple hours.
There are lots of reasons to smile all summer long. Evidence suggests that smiling reduces stress and helps your heart. So show those teeth! Brush twice a day, floss daily and smile big. You'll feel better when you do.

Former employee (resigned after 4 days). Office manager is demeaning, confrontational, belligerent, clueless, dishonest, and exceptionally unprofessional. HR did NOTHING to rectify this issue on any level despite my claims being "substantiated". Other employees and both dentists are LOVELY. It's unfortunate this individual is being coddled and good/honest employees resign as a result of his unprofessionalism. If I could give no stars, I would.

Wonderful practice! Friendly receptionists, who are great about putting you on a list if you need to be seen sooner, and call ASAP when appointments open up. Clean, bright, cheerful office that's close to trains and buses for easy access. And the dentists are amazing. Dr. Masi is so understanding of my dental phobia and thanks to him I'm much more proactive about making appointments. I love this practice!

Staff and dentists are amazing! I go to Lisa for my cleaning and she does an absolutely amazing job every single time! Dr. Pieranunzi is wonderful!!! Amanda at the front desk was the sweetest, got me checked in and checked out quickly, she helped as the RDA. All three were friendly, caring, professional and just great! Absolutely love going and seeing all of the friendly faces and great smiles!

Both my wife and I love Dr. Masi and Dr. P. We've been going there for longer than I can remember. I agree with a previous review that every employee is pleasant, professional, and a pleasure to work with escape the scary lady that sometimes answers the phone. Fortunately I haven't had to speak to her lately. I have at times, when she answered the phone, hung up and called back later hoping for another person to answer the phone. I haven't noticed much difference since they associated with Moravian dental and I still consider them one of the best dental practices I've ever used. The only reason I gave them a five star rating it's because a six star rating doesn't exist.

Dr. Masi is wonderful!!! He is gentle with your mouth & teeth. There's great concern about your comfort. The dental procedures are current & well explained. There's a thoroughness about what is done. This dentist & his staff are professional, helpful, friendly, & understanding!!!

OMG! I LOVE THIS GROUP OF PEOPLE! My four children and I have been coming to Dr. Masi for 20+ years. I was so traumatized as a child with another dentist, then I was ripped off by a new dentist. Then divine intervention occurred. I found Dr. Masi. He is the most caring, generous, selfless man I ever met. So intelligent. I still "white knuckle" the chair, but he has such a calming effect on me, I actually fell asleep once. The most thorough hygienist there, by far, is Diane. I cannot say enough about her. She is so wonderful. She teaches me so much, utilizing her Masters degree. She spends so much time helping me, knowing of my candy addiction! Amanda is the office "jack of all trades". Love love love her too. I cannot say enough about this office. Real A+++

Drs. Masi and Pieranunzi are exceptional dentists. I've been seeing these doctors for 20 years and would definitely recommend this dentist office. The staff are also top notch and extremely friendly and easy to do business with.

My daughter saw Dr. Masi to have a cavity filled. She's 5 and very anxious when it comes to any time of doctors appt. Dr. Masi and the staff were so kind and caring. Her filling was done very quickly and he took the time to answer all her questions and explain what he was doing as he did it to help calm her nerves. What could have been a very hard appt was really so fast and easy for us both!! Thank you Dr. Masi and staff!!

Dr. Masi is the greatest dentist of all time. He is gentle, kind, and listens to the patient. Any procedure that he does is done quickly and pain is managed wonderfully. He is an expert and although he is beyond the age of retirement, he still works to provide care for his patients who will miss him dearly when he does decide to retire. Diane D., the dental hygienist is the best. She is extremely knowledgeable, smart, kind, funny and thorough. I leave with piece of mind knowing that my teeth have been cleaned with the utmost of care. Adam the receptionist is the backbone of the office. He is caring and on the ball. This office is the best dental office and I recommend it to anyone who needs a new dentist. I tell everyone to come to this office, they'll change your mindset on the dental field. I actually love coming in and seeing the team!

Dr. Masi and his practice came recommended from good friends in NJ. We were patients of our dentist back in NY for 30 years - it was a big decision for us. We are SO HAPPY with Dr. Masi and his practice in Raritan. He is an AMAZING Dentist along with Dr. Pieranunzi. We have been patients now with them for many years and we are very happy with their professionalism, skill and wonderful chair-side manner. We HIGHLY recommend them both, and will be patients at their office for as long as they are there. Also - the Dental Hygienists are excellent as well - Ask for Diane but if she is not available the other hygienists are great as well.
