Summer is the time for outdoor sports and you can protect your teeth, cheeks, gums and lips with a low-cost mouth guard. It could save you from a knocked out or chipped tooth, and it will prevent you from grinding your teeth during the big game.

No really, just dont. Weve all seen someone open a bottle with their teeth. An amazing feat? Nope, but a great way to cause micro fractures in your teeth. Using your teeth to rip open potato chip bags or to crush ice are also no nos.

The short answer is no. You most likely cannot sunburn your teeth. Shwew! Your lips on the other hand can sunburn. In fact, your lips might be the most susceptible to sunburn. Its important not to rely on regular sunscreen to protect your lips, choose a lip balm with a minimum of SPF 15. It is designed for your lips, and it will stick better. And just like with sunscreen, remember to reapply it every couple hours.

There are lots of reasons to smile all summer long. Evidence suggests that smiling reduces stress and helps your heart. So show those teeth! Brush twice a day, floss daily and smile big. You'll feel better when you do.

I no longer go here because no one from the previous owner is left. Also there are no more senior discounts. It seems to me that this is no longer a family dental place, instead it's just a place of business out to make the buck...

Terribly disappointed for me and my whole family for the loss of our gifted, talented and best dentist one could ever have. Can't believe Mondovi could let this happen.

Facility is nicely maintained.Nurses are well experienced and do cleaning very well. Only problem it is located in second floor. Dr.Jeffery has good knowledge and explains things in understandable way. He has good hand and carefully handle the teeth issues. I have full appreciation for him.

Dr. Jackson was the only reason for staying with Mondovi Dental. When he was no longer affiliated with Mondovi Dental, I took my dental work elsewhere.

My husband & I have no connection to the company that took over Dr.Glenn Jackson's practice. We traveled a distance to be seen by Dr. Jackson. His extreme talent & professionalism will be sadly missed. These characteristics, I'm sorry to say, are not reflective of the new owners who took over his practice. Dr. Jackson expected professionalism from his whole office, which we feel is completely missing from this group. We tried to get our records sent to a new dentist, which took about a month. The office manager from Mondovi never got back to us. It was a hygenist who eventually called us and got the release form to us. Unfortunately, finding a dentist as passionate as Dr. Jackson will be a challenge.

GOOD REVIEWS ARE FROM BEFORE MONDOVI TOOK OVER! After years of extreme dental anxiety and fear I was blessed to be treated by Dr. Jackson and they hygienists in his office. The entire office was amazing BUT when Dr. Jackson sold his practice to Mondovi, "fit hit the shan" so to speak. We began receiving bills for routine cleanings that had supposedly been billed to insurance (aka should have been covered), and then the hygienists began leaving one by one. Finally one day Dr. Jackson was longer there after assuring all of his patients that he planned to stay on... you do the math. If I could give less than one star I would. Mondovi is literally only out to make money. They do not care one bit about you as a patient. There may be "good" people working there, but as a whole the company's practices are trash and not deserving of the respect and rapport that Dr. Jackson spent many years cultivating with his patients. TRUST THE RECENT REVIEWS and find a private practice dentist, not one of these "oral health organizations" that could not care less about you.

Jasmine is such a great orthodontist--so friendly and made me feel really comfortable. She has a gentle touch and explains everything she's going to be doing.

I had the same experience as others after Dr. Jackson left. I received bills for past treatment that had taken place years ago and had already been paid by me/insurance. I had one cleaning there since it became Mondovi and got another large bill (cleaning would normally be covered by insurance). I called multiple times over months to clear up the bills. I was told each time that they would look into it and call me back. That never happened. I'm not sure what's going on here, but it's definitely not above board. Steer clear!

I had previously posted a glowing review of Dr. Glenn Jackson. I have deliberately deleted it since he does not work here. I feel it is deceptive and misleading for Mondovi Dental to use my review, and all of the others, for a Dentist who is not a part of this practice. I would give zero stars, but could not post without at least one.

This original review was for Dr. Jackson, NOT Mondovi Dental. Appalling that they took the review for their business. Dr. Jackson is no longer there. It is definitely NOT the same care & service. Our family has been going to Dr. Jackson's practice for over 30 years. I would highly recommend him. He and his staff are extremely passionate about your dental health and will always ensure that you understand what needs to be done and ensure that it is done with the most current method, and with minimal discomfort. I also value punctuality and never have to wait for an appointment.

Ever since Dr. Jackson left, this place has gone downhill. I am being charged for things that never happened. Why am I getting a bill for work done when I haven't been there in a few years? Why am I getting a bill at all? Insurance covers all of it. Someone messed up and is looking to make a quick buck off of innocent patients.

Really terribly run corporate office that doesn't actually care about their patients. Riding the wave of Dr Jacksons once office using his reviews to their advantage, this place is now trash. Beware.

I had a cleaning appointment last summer 2021 and had to do a double take as I thought I was in the wrong dentist office as I didn't recognize any of the employees. Last time I spoke to Dr. Jackson he had told me that he wanted to get of the business end of the practice and would be working for a new owner part time which I was very happy to hear. I have been a patient of Dr. Jackson along with my family for over 3 decades. My family and I trusted and respected Dr. J because the way he ran his business the "patient comes first". The dentist on duty at that time of my visit was a dentist from a different Mondovi office filling in until a new permanent dentist was on board. I asked the new staff what happened to Dr. J and I didn't get a straight answer - I should have known something was up. I immediately got the feeling this is not the "family dentist" that I once had, but a money maker "cash cow". It was pretty evident that that the new ownership Mondovi decided to just "clean house" and let most of Dr. Jackson's staff go if not all the staff. It is also disturbing and misleading the Mondovi still has ALL Dr. Jackson's 5 star rating reviews on their WEB page and he doesn't even work there anymore. It's probably time to find a new "family" practice for myself and family...

I recently requested a visit to see Dr. Glenn Jackson's in Maynard, MA and found that Dr. Jackson is no longer there. Sad to realize the practice has changed, and DrJackson is no longer there.

I moved to Maynard 26 years ago. Dr. Jackson has been exceptional to me. I have had a few "emergencies" over the years and he has always promptly fit me in. His staff is wonderful and caring. Highly recommended. Unfortunately , Mondovi Dental took over Dr Jackson's Practice. They are the complete opposite of Dr. Jackson's Review . Just because you buy out a business should not mean the you get all of his reviews. Mondovi Dental is just a corporate company that bought him out . The staff is rude , billing issues, and scheduling work that is not needed. Stay away.

I so appreciate the way Tina the hygienist handles her work. She takes her time. She is careful and thorough. She checks with me about how things are feeling and responds to what I say. She is resourceful in finding ways to deal with difficulties that come up. And she's great to talk with! I'm in my 50s, and I think she's the best I've ever been to.

Dr. Jackson had been my dentist for several decades now. His office was humming with expert and friendly staff, and he solved many and various problems with my teeth over the years. Since Dr. Jackson recently retired and passed his practice on to Dr. Lisul, the staff continues work of the highest caliber and have been very knowledgeable and helpful.

I made a big big mistake going here today and not requesting a hygenist who would disclose if s/he was covid vaccinated. I have heart surgery scheduled the end of this month and had to have dental work done prior to the surgery. Because of this stress I did not think to ask about covid vaccines until I was seated. I had taken my antibiotics (most heart patients take antibiotics before dental procedures) and it's only 3 weeks from my surgery and I am fully covid vaccinated, so I decided to stay even tho the hygenist said it is HIPAA related and she didn't need to disclose her vaccination status and that the other hygenists do not disclose either (LIE). Well, half way thru the procedure, I was thinking it is NOT HIPAA related to disclose. Shame on me for staying, but I was already half way thru the dental cleaning. The dentist came in afterwards and told me he was vaccinated and this is what got me very angry about Teresa the hygenist not disclosing -- if the dentist can disclose, why didn't Teresa? I feel like Mondovi doesn't care about their patients. If they did, they would mandate their hygenists / dentists / staff get vaccinated. I talked to someone afterwards who went to this same facility a month or 2 before and the hygenist he had responded she was covid-vaccinated. Mondovi has lost me and my husband as patients. I miss Dr. Jackson and the way he cared for his patients and his expertise as a dentist. He is the best dentist I ever had. The only reason the reviews are so good on google for this facilitiy is due to the fact that most of the positive reviews are when Dr. Jackson owned the business. People who are not vaccinated should have their dental work done at Mondovi in Maynard -- this is really the place for you.
