The short answer is no. You most likely cannot sunburn your teeth. Shwew! Your lips on the other hand can sunburn. In fact, your lips might be the most susceptible to sunburn. Its important not to rely on regular sunscreen to protect your lips, choose a lip balm with a minimum of SPF 15. It is designed for your lips, and it will stick better. And just like with sunscreen, remember to reapply it every couple hours.
There are lots of reasons to smile all summer long. Evidence suggests that smiling reduces stress and helps your heart. So show those teeth! Brush twice a day, floss daily and smile big. You'll feel better when you do.

I loved Dr. Ferreira. Recently I received a call from this office cancelling my appointment and rescheduling into the future. After this happened a second time, I asked if Dr. Ferreira was still there, and I was told he is no longer the doctor at this location. Where did he go!?

I hadn't been to this office in quite a while but I lost a filling and wanted it taken care of asap. Lucikly the day I called they had a cancellation and I was seen the same day. I was surprised to find out Dr Ferreira had retired and two new dentists had come on board, but some of the original staff were still there. My experience was exceptional from the office staff to the dentist who did my filling and Cindy who assisted in the procedure. I would definitely recommend this dental office and will return for any of my future dental needs.

Incredibly unprofessional office staff here. I called to have my boyfriends x-rays transferred for a few reasons, one being that no one ever contacted him about Dr. Ferreira's retiring. Two, waited for almost an hour for an exam during his prophy and was never seen, you would think since Dr. Ferreira retired, the new Dr. would want to make a good impression and retain existing clients. Three, eating chocolate at your desk while checking out and talking to a patient?! Highly unprofessional. The straw that broke the camels back was calling for said x-rays. Whomever answered the phone today on 9/7 around 4:00pm.. wow, customer service is just completely lacking. Do yourself a favor and don't bother going here now. Corporate dentistry has taken over and production is more important than service.

I've been coming here for over 35 years and have never had a bad experience. Dr Ferreira and his staff have always been professional, courteous and on point when it comes to my care and my well-being. My wife and family now come here also and we travel 35 minutes just to get here. He's guided my family and I through countless dental procedures and have never had a problem. I hope he never retires!

My wife and I started visiting Dr. Carl Ferreira as of the end of last year 2020. He and all his staff are accommodating, helpful, and wonderful. They answer all our questions concerning any procedures we are having. Great group of friendly and professional people.

My visit with Dr. Ferreira was awful. During my appointment with Dr.Ferreira I was informed about a new rule that just been passed making the nitrous unavailable for me I followed up asking Dr.Ferreira a couple of questions an Dr.Ferreira was visibly upset an became combative while answering my questions I was treated with no respect, belittled, and was dropped as a client for asking questions Dr. Ferreira is unprofessional and lacks people skills.

I never liked going to a dentist. My teeth are sensitive & it was always a painful experience. Unfortunately I developed an infection in a tooth cavity when a cap had fallen off. My PCP after prescribing Antibiotics gave me Dr Ferreira's name. I never would have thought that a trip to a Dentist could be a pleasant experience, but it was. The atmosphere was relaxing & the patient care was exceptional. Within a 1/2 hr, the tooth was removed and I had zero pain even after novocaine wore off. I'm actually looking forward to returning to have some additional work done, and that say's a lot!
