Summer is the time for outdoor sports and you can protect your teeth, cheeks, gums and lips with a low-cost mouth guard. It could save you from a knocked out or chipped tooth, and it will prevent you from grinding your teeth during the big game.
No really, just dont. Weve all seen someone open a bottle with their teeth. An amazing feat? Nope, but a great way to cause micro fractures in your teeth. Using your teeth to rip open potato chip bags or to crush ice are also no nos.
The short answer is no. You most likely cannot sunburn your teeth. Shwew! Your lips on the other hand can sunburn. In fact, your lips might be the most susceptible to sunburn. Its important not to rely on regular sunscreen to protect your lips, choose a lip balm with a minimum of SPF 15. It is designed for your lips, and it will stick better. And just like with sunscreen, remember to reapply it every couple hours.
There are lots of reasons to smile all summer long. Evidence suggests that smiling reduces stress and helps your heart. So show those teeth! Brush twice a day, floss daily and smile big. You'll feel better when you do.

Been a patient for about a year but I won't be back since they have a new dentist. She was in a rush (quickly tapped my teeth with the handle of a tool) and didn't address my concerns. I have an infected tooth and she recommended a root canal for a completely different tooth three or four teeth away. Claimed it was a sinus infection even though the X-ray showed exactly where it was. When I pointed that out she just referred me to someone else who will look at the X-rays. I appreciate the antibiotics though. I like the staff who are always friendly and it's a clean place. I hope they do well and wish them the best in the future but I need to go elsewhere from now on as I can't trust the dentist to deal with any future issues I may have.

Having been a patient over 10 yrs. I have seen this office go through many changes, dentists, receptionist. No one loves change. This office has always provided professional staff not to mention the education that goes along with your 6 month cleaning. It is the best dental office in Delaware County. Dr. Flanders set the bar very high and with this new company it has remained.

Very nice and helpful staff. The temporary dentist I saw was also very nice and informative. My only complaint after my first visit is that they currently do not have a permanent dentist on staff.

We have been going to Mondavi for years. The staff is so friendly, reception is so helpful and the dentists are always honest and capable. We really love them, including my kids! The best customer service ever.

From the moment you walk in the door you feel like a part of a family. Everyone is kind, courteous and professional. I felt at ease in the chair and was told that I did not need work done that a "chain" dentist told me I had to have done (to the tune of $2,000). Wish I had come to Dr. Flanders office YEARS ago instead of the day before he retired! I actually LOOK FORWARD to visiting the office today for some work to be done. My son and husband are now clients as well! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I have been a client of this dental facility for many years. By far Dr. Flanders was my favorite dentist. Since Mondovi Dental has taken over, there has been a shuffle of different dentists practicing in this building. None of which I have had enough contact with to justify any kind of opinion, until my last visit. Not too long ago Dr Pablo De La Cruise (SP?) came aboard and is now practicing in the Delhi office. This was my first experience with him and I have to say I was impressed and hope he sticks around. I had a tooth that was slated for a crown for years and I just haven't been able to get it done. Other dental priorities had come up and it was next on the list, but unfortunately this tooth cracked and I had to make an appointment to get it taken care of. I was very worried I would lose this tooth because of the damage, but Dr De La Cruise was able to do a procedure to save the tooth and put a temp in. I'm scheduled for my permanent crown in a few weeks. I'm definitely happy with the service at Mondovi Dental. The dentistry quality is excellent and the staff there are top notch! I hope they don't change a thing from here on out.

I came here to get a decayed, broken wisdom tooth removed. It was causing such intense pain. I've had horrible experiences with having teeth removed, but Dr. Lasher was amazing. She talked me through the entire process and I didnt feel a single thing. I would highly recommend coming here.
