Summer is the time for outdoor sports and you can protect your teeth, cheeks, gums and lips with a low-cost mouth guard. It could save you from a knocked out or chipped tooth, and it will prevent you from grinding your teeth during the big game.
No really, just dont. Weve all seen someone open a bottle with their teeth. An amazing feat? Nope, but a great way to cause micro fractures in your teeth. Using your teeth to rip open potato chip bags or to crush ice are also no nos.
The short answer is no. You most likely cannot sunburn your teeth. Shwew! Your lips on the other hand can sunburn. In fact, your lips might be the most susceptible to sunburn. Its important not to rely on regular sunscreen to protect your lips, choose a lip balm with a minimum of SPF 15. It is designed for your lips, and it will stick better. And just like with sunscreen, remember to reapply it every couple hours.
There are lots of reasons to smile all summer long. Evidence suggests that smiling reduces stress and helps your heart. So show those teeth! Brush twice a day, floss daily and smile big. You'll feel better when you do.

I have neglected the care of my teeth for too long due to bad previous experiences. I was able to find Mondovi Dental through my dental insurance. Best decision ever! Mondovi Danbury provided the best service. Dr Lee and the entire staff are super friendly and kind. Everyone was so empathetic and concern with my comfort. The Dental Hygienist explained everything step by step and provided useful information. I am extremely happy with their service.

Check-up and cleaning was really good and thorough. My hygienist made sure I was comfortable and aware of her observations [for this visit and future dental care]. My Doctor found a potential issue at the check-up if not treated, so I returned the next week to fix a faulty/leaky filling. This follow-up/filling visit went so SMOOTH! I told them up front I'm afraid of drilling and I was given the perfect amount of anesthesia. [The filing-fix procedure went well and pain-free]. The Doctor explained what was going to happen and made sure I was not stressed by the drilling, etc. My face was not numb all day [like back in the old days] and I was at work without missing a beat. Excellent first visit, love that they show you a break down of insurance coverage vs cost and what is out of pocket. All dentists should do this so you aren't shocked by the bill after work

From the time I walked in I felt very comfortable. Maritza was very kind and always concerned with my comfort. Dr Lee was very thorough with what needed to be done. She was also very kind. I thank the entire staff for being so nice and making me so comfortable in a dentist office

I think the office is very professional and courteous. The business is very capable of handling dental issues. The road traffic near the office is minimal and not congested like other dental offices.

DR. YUNG-HUA (SHELBY) LEE and staff are excellent. Highly professional and courteous as you would expect and hope for when visiting a dentist. Excellent experience overall. I would highly recommend Dr. Lee to anyone. This was my first visit with Dr. Lee and I felt at ease right away.

I had a great experience and felt very welcome at practice. Vanessa was super kind on the phone and in person. She is a great dental assistant. Dr Krauze was also very nice, gentle and informative. so far so good. Just switch because of insurance. Not a fancy office, but the people are great. I really liked that they gave me a hand mirror to see the cavity they found. Neat! And they recommended an electric toothbrush so I can avoid brushing too hard and deteriorating my gums. (The Oral B will turn off if too much pressure) The electronic bitewings were a bit large with a wire hanging on them; I hope they upgrade to wireless (assuming that exists)

Been going here since I was an adult. Doctors and specialists have all been very nice and friendly to me, and I feel like they do as good a job as they can. I've been going to get my cleanings from Lisa F and she is very kind and does a great job. My doctor recently seemed very knowledgeable as well
