Dr. Joshua Mondlick is a charismatic, honest, and pragmatic periodontist. He believes in a scientific based, collaborative, patient-centered approach to treatment in order to achieve stellar outcomes. Dr. Mondlick is passionate about cultivating change and growth through various technology. He is dedicated in helping patients obtain the oral health they have always wanted and to maintain that level for a lifetime.
Dr. Mondlick is a native of Syracuse, NY. Following earning a Bachelors of Science in Biology from Union College in Schenectady, NY, he graduated from the University of Buffalo's School of Dental Medicine. He then completed a 1-year residency in general dentistry in Chicago, IL.
After working as a general dentist for many years in south Phoenix, Dr. Mondlick decided to specialize in Periodontics by attending a 3-year, full time program at the Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center in Manhattan, NY. It was there where he was able to build on his training to increase his knowledge to help patients save teeth, place dental implants, and improve the overall health of the gums with microsurgical and cosmetic gum surgery, gum, and bone grafting.
He has practiced periodontics privately in both Phoenix and San Antonio, TX. Additionally he was also a clinical assistant professor in Periodontics at Midwestern University's School of Dental Medicine in Glendale, AZ. Dr. Mondlick currently serves as a Director on the Central Arizona Dental Society and is Board Certified by the American Board of Periodontology.
He is involved in multiple professional societies, including the American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontics, and Western Society of Periodontics. He leads numerous study clubs for both dentists and dental hygienists.

Dr Mondlick and his team are amazing. I specifically want to thank Crystal, my dental hygienist, for being so good at what she does. I am as complicated of a patient as they get, lot of recession, braces and just had a jaw surgery. Crystal has been taking such good care of me, I look forward to my dental cleanings so much! She is very thorough but so gentle and caring and she is also so knowledgeable and always has a ton of tips for me! I was very nervous having my teeth cleaned after my jaw surgery, but Crystal made it absolutely painless! Dr Mondlick is a wizard, his work impressed even my oral surgeon. His technique is unique and impressive! Highly recommend this office for patients who have lot of recession on their gums! You will love your results!!

I recently had a visit with Dr Mondlick for a tooth extraction. Everyone from the front desk to his support staff were professional and kind. I was very impressed with the phone call that evening from Dr Mondlick to check on me. He also has a nice "chair side" manner!

Dr Mondlick is very kind and supportive. My hygienist, Crystal, is very gentle and awesome for cleaning my teeth! I'm coming here every 6 months while in braces but want to keep coming because this office is great! Thank you.

Over priced and offered unnecessary procedures. I was quoted $427.00 each for surgical tooth extractions when a regular extraction for $90.00 would be fine. I had several other procedures that needed to be done. After checking around and finding much more reasonable pricing, I called to cancel my appointments. They wanted to negotiate the price down if I would stay and have my work done there. NO THANKS. I prefer to have a fair price up front.

Dr Mondlick was incredible for the moment I went for my evaluation until the end of the procedure and follow ups was very professional, his job was excellent as for me my front teeth are very important so I am very HAPPY with the results. The office personnel as well very informative, they acknowledge you as soon you walk into the office and they do care for you. Have to include the office manager as well. I am in my late 30s. 8 months ago Dr. Mondlick performed a lingual gum graft on one of my teeth. 2 different dentists advised me to not even attempt, because lingual gum grafts are rarely successful. Still, I could not accept I was gonna lose a front tooth in my 30s. I'm happy I put my trust in Dr. Mondlick, he is an excellent surgeon.

I moved to Arizona in 1989 and found a Periodontist by way of referrals from friends. He retired at the age of 73, and I was devastated. I never thought I would find anyone who could take his place. Then I started hearing my friends talk about Dr. Joshua Mondlick in Peoria, Arizona. I made an appointment in 2017 and was so happy to meet him. He is very kind, caring, professional, and knowledgeable. Also, his Staff is very complimentary to his perfectionist personality. The office is so clean and emaculate and all the dental tools are laid out perfectly sterilized and ready for your procedure. Dr. Mondlick will make sure that before he releases you from a procedure he has performed that it is 100% perfect. Dr. Mondlick and his Staff have done the following for me: Periodontal cleanings, Dental Implant, Laser Surgery, Bone Grafting, and Soft Tissue Grafting. I am a 69 year old U. S. Army veteran who has been in Customer Sevice for over 30 years. I know what excellent Customer Service is and Dr. Mondlick and his Staff are so kind and caring that you will feel like part of their family. You will actually look forward to seeing Dr. Mondlick and his entire Staff. Dr. Mondlick and his staff are awesome. Their office is super convenient and worth the drive from north east Phoenix. After his exam, he went through his findings and explained treatment options. I really appreciate how much time he spent with me and how my much care he took to address my questions.

A very caring and knowledge dentist. He makes you feel comfortable from the moment he walks in. He takes his time explaining the procedure and never rushed me when I asked a million questions. The gum graft was so easy. He numbed everything very well And kept asking how I was doing . I was done in an hour. He explained the post surgery instructions. I was dreading the pain afterwards but I had none. I was amazed. Then he called me that night to see how I was! What Dr does that! He truly cares about his work and his patients. Rebecca was such a help with my anxiety . She was so kind and joked around with me putting me at ease. It is a first class operation. This Dr really cares about his patients having a great outcome! I'm so glad I found him. I was in so much pain and saw 4 other dentists but no one could help. Dr Mondlick diagnosed the problem immediately, Don't be afraid to see this dentist! He's a gem!

Five stars ! Fantastic experience with Dr Mondlick!! I highly recommend Dr Mondlick for perio surgery. I had a gum graft procedure. I was given oral sedation pill which made procedure pain free. I slept through entire procedure. Dr Mondlick was very professional and has a great bedside manner. He sets the tone for his office staff, the entire staff was awesome. I'm thankful I went ahead and had the gum graff, I now have a balance and symmetry in my smile and i no longer have gum sensitivity . Definitely recommend!!!

My wife needed gum surgery and grafting and was referred to Dr Mondlick by our dentist. Her gums look like new now. Dr Mondlick did a great job and I was impressed with his bedside manner as well as providing me his personal contact information after the surgery. I contacted him one weekend morning about the healing process and a question about her graft and he instantly responded. He then followed up contacting me later to insure things were progressing as they should. Great customer service!

Excellent experience.... considering I needed to get a tooth extracted. I have seen my share of tooth mechanics. I have root canals and crowns, but this time the 'heroics' to save one back tooth was not worth it. My dentist recommended Joshua Mondlick and he was top notch! He was not contracted with my insurance but he got set up with them and let me know what my costs would be before I made an appointment. The added cost as an out of network provider was minimal compared with the extra convenience his office provided. In network specialists required me to be sedated, he did not. They also required me to have two appointments: exam this week, extraction next week. Dr. Mondlick got the extraction done right after the exam, and he fit me in the same week. His assistant Michelle was wonderful, explained everything so there were no surprises and minimal stress. They had me come back TWICE to check healing. I would absolutely recommend them and go back if I need a dental specialist again. Good work Mondlick Perio! I am so thankful that great docs are trained and ready when we need them.
