Spray, scrub, wipe repeat. Its our new favorite sound. Weve always been committed to the highest safety standardsbut now deep cleaning is done before, during and after visits even in the lobby. Our teams are geared up (literally watch the video) to sanitize equipment, chairs, tables, door handles, countertops etc. many times a day. And we dont stop there. PPE (think masks, gloves, gowns, and face shields) is worn by everyone in the office. Even patients get to take part by keeping masks on at all times except when being treated and doing a good disinfecting rinse before and after care.

Were checking to see if our patients (and staff) are healthy with a few questions and a temperature check every day, at every visit. Sounds a bit extreme? Youre right, extreme is good when it comes to patient safety and health.

I booked an appointment for cleaning and check-up. They never mentioned that their hygienist was on vacation. After the check-up, I waited 30 mins thinking I'm waiting for the hygienist only to find out that I was waiting on them to give me estimate of wisdom tooth extractions, which the Doctor said it is not a good idea to take them out. I booked another appointment over the phone for fillings and even got the estimate of how much it would cost. Only to find out that they want X-rays again and was not planning on doing the fillings. if their hygienist is not available they should let you know when you are booking the appointment for cleaning. The receptionist is really rude. She kept on interrupting my conversation with the staff member and was combative. I would not recommend them.

DO NOT take children here!!! I brought my 7yr old here. Dr said a couple fillings were needed. He seemed really nervous while doing the fillings. My child said the teeth did not feel right, but doctor assured that was how it was supposed to feel. The fillings fell out in less than a week!!! So now my child has actual holes in these teeth!!! I had also asked about getting a bite guard for my child and the doctor said not old enough....my child's primary care doctor is very concerned as this is causing problems with the permanent teeth! The call center is poorly run...if I didn't call back to reschedule my own appointment, my child would have not made it to the appointment as they scheduled to the wrong location!

Monarch Dental as a company accepts primary and secondary insurance. I was told many times by the Old Denton (Carrollton) office this and provided both of my insurances but they had a new DDS who is still being credentialed with Delta and transferred me to Patient Services to look for a DDS who in-network for both. Patient services provided this location (Dr. Henderson) who is in both PPO networks. Provided both insurance info multiple times and also in the paperwork (2 boxes for primary/secondary insurances). Appt scheduled @ 5pm today made last week. Received a call asking if I can come earlier and set appt @ 3pm. Went in and completed paperwork with insurance info again and was told that Monarch doesn't accept primary/secondary. Told the office staff (Guadalupe Cardenas) that I was told by the other office (Carrollton) as well as Patient Services and they said no. Walked out and then immediately returned but nearing 3:40pm and asked if I would be out by 4:30pm as I had work meetings rearranged to accommodate the office asking me to come in earlier. She said she wasn't sure and I was getting close to going back after 4 other patients who came after me were called and I was told they had appts as well but asked why was I asked to come earlier if I wouldn't be seen until 3:45 or 4pm? She asked if I have ever been to a Dental clinic and I assured I have and I have had appointments that run a few minutes over but never 45 minutes to 1 hour. Cancelled my 'appointment' and asked for Patient Services phone number to ask about the insurance. Spoke to Kenya who confirmed that Monarch does accept both of my insurances and did not know why this office does not. If you have a primary and secondary insurance, please reach out to Patient Services and inform them that this office doesn't accept secondary even if the DDS is in-network for both so that you don't have to waste time, tolls and gas and see a DDS who can at any other Monarch locations. Hopefully they do accept in the future but you may also experience more accurate appointment times at other Monarch locations as well. Update: The office manager is out (convenient? I'll leave that to your imagination) but the office staff said the Dr. Henderson chooses to accept primary and secondary and when asked if it could be posted on the paperwork, in the lobby, online, they said no as I would hate anyone else to experience this issue. They wouldn't even verify the benefits just a flat out no despite both commercial PPO plans that are setup for Coordination of Benefits (COB) and Patient Services will assure you they do but the office said Patient Services nor Corporate is not aware that Dr. Henderson chooses to Hender (attempt at a joke) care if a patient has dual commercial insurances. Whether or not they want to take the time to bill or if the billing coordinator is unable to do so accurately and correctly is a story only you can decide. Please seek care elsewhere if you have 2 insurances or a provider who is private practice with their own practice that can tell you the Standard Operating Procedures and when they do/don't bill in-network PPO plans. You can also get an accurate appointment time and wait with other providers as well.

Monarch princess are extremely high even with the insurance. To get treatment you need to schedule again and again. Management is poor.

Went here for the first time and I think customer service needs little improvement. I arrived at the office and my paperwork was not ready. African American lady at the front desk had a hard time locating my paperwork. She gave up and just created a new one while I was there. I provided all my insurance information over the phone before my appointment date but they still didn't have it and I have to give everything again. Even with the appointment it took about 25-30 minutes before I was called inside. I can understand unforeseen circumstances but patient should not be waiting this long if they have an appointment. After the consultation Dr. Henderson told me he will send a prescription to the pharmacy. I left the office after an hour and even then my prescription was not sent. I was not told anything about the delay and good thing I checked with the front desk before driving all the way to the pharmacy. I was then told that they will give me a call as soon as the prescription is sent but of course that did not happen! Overall, staff was professional and seems friendly. I hope I will have much better experience the next time.

I am not satisfied with the results or service I received. Extreme delay (1 year) in getting all of my needs done. I was kind of pushed to accept the crown design I didn't like, had to compromise just to finish off what I started here (and for the money I paid upfront) because of the delay in appointments and my personal travel commitments. They keep postponing appointments with min 3 or 4 weeks for the each appointment. They wont update until the last minute to reschedule. Had to adjust my OOO notice multiple times because of their last minute rescheduling. On one occasion I was told the next appointment would take 3 or 4 hours to prep and they dont have any appointments for next 1.5 months for such long hours and I had to accept. When I went for the appointment, it took only 1 hour for the prep as opposed to what they told me for scheduling. I wont recommend this hospital if you need quick resolution for dental crowns.

Best dentist office! I honestly do not like going to the dentist but Dr. Kenneth Henderson is the greatest dentist and has the best staff ever! I moved over a hour away but I still go to this office, that's how much I enjoy going to get my check ups at this location. I've been going here for 5+ years.
