Dr. Vallecillo and Dr. Menna are a husband and wife team. They have been practicing as Gilbert Dentists in the same location here at Mona Lisa Dental in Gilbert, Arizona for 14 years. As a full service Family, Implant & Cosmetic dental practice they minimize the need for referrals to outside specialists. They have been married for 25 years and are raising two daughters.     I've been a happy customer for about 7 years. All my kids, wife and myself have been at Mona Lisa to take care off our dental health periodically. I really like the profesionalism, quality of procedures, kindness and cost of service provided by Dr. Rossana and Dr. Carlos. Highly recommended.

    Today (3/25/22) at around 2 pm I, as a representative of a business called this establishment to offer our service. I had asked to speak with the manager and when the manager was unavailable the miss in the front lady (who I unfortunately don't recall hearing her name) had offered to leave a message for the doctor so that I would be able to receive a call back. I had agreed to leave my information and as we were finishing the conversation, the receptionist had given me unsolicited advice about something that I cannot change. Which was my voice. She said I should learn how sound more professional and kind if I ever wanted business. After that I still apologized and explained that was simply my voice and she continue to tell me that it was very unprofessional. I am m simply writing this because I feel like as someone who could've been a potential patient in the future this is in no way to speak to anyone especially regarding a physical trait they are unable to change. Thank you ! Edit: Regarding to the message to whoever replied to me, firstly I never claimed for it to be an emergency. Secondly, I did not demand, I politely asked and when asked the reasoning I said that I would prefer to speak directly to the manager. Lastly, even if it was intended to be good advice, as a professional from her part, and I say this respectfully we are not coworkers and she is certainly not my employer so she had no right to tell me how to do my job, so telling me how to be professional due to a physical trait I cannot change was unprofessional from her part; And had her advice been appropriate, she should've said it more respectfully. And I'd like to say it again once more that I apologized for how I might've came off and she still said that I needed to learn how to be professional if I expect business and once again it it's none of her concern whether I am to her standard of professional or not.

    Very poorly managed. They turned my wife away and cancelled her appointment after weeks of waiting for it. She scheduled our appointment weeks in advance for a routine cleaning. She showed up early to fill out the new patient information. When it came time for her appointment, they turned her away for not yet being vaccinated. This is the first we had heard of this policy of theirs. I understand why they would choose to require this, you'd think they would have the courtesy to notify patients earlier rather than making us wait weeks just to be turned away. Such a waste of time! They weren't willing to make any accomodations for her for their failure. Her appointment was cancelled and she was sent home. We will take our business elsewhere and you should too.

    I rarely leave reviews, but I wish I had been warned about this place. I had gone years ago when they first opened, and had a good experience. After moving away and moving back, I decided to try them again. The dentist told me I had 10+ cavities. I was shocked, since I had seen another dentist 6 months prior and had no issues. But of course I didn't want to leave anything untreated, so I went in for fillings. They did half of them, and these are the worst fillings - they hurt when I bite on them, they feel "flat" instead of having grooves like teeth, and they made my Invisalign not fit anymore. My teeth have started to shift since I can't wear my aligner anymore. I went back to have them "fixed" and they drilled a bunch but didn't solve anything. Now, six months later I have gone to a new dentist, who can see the shoddy work that was done and also told me I have no other cavities (even though I only completed half the fillings this place told me I needed). I honestly walked out of this place in WORSE shape than when I went in, and it feels like it was all about money. I'll never be back.

    I usually dread visiting the dentist. But with Dr V's or Dr. Menna's gentle hands its always a pleasant one. Thus, my entire family goes here. Office staff are always warm and welcoming. Highly recommended.

Because I am Brazilian, we are accustomed in Brazil to dentists working miracles, doubling in a thousand so that you leave the office satisfied. But here in the USA it is different. Many times I have seen people leave with a hole in their mouth and they have no options (something that in Brazil they would do a little bit what they do not do here, in any office. No temporary teeth, bridge, especially if it is in the teeth of back). They accept Carecredit, which is like a credit card that you can pay in installments (and they offer you to apply at the office). In general I am satisfied, I recommend. If you don't speak English one of the dentists is Brazilian and the dentist speaks English and I believe Spanish. (Original) Eu tenho visitado este dentista por mais de 2 anos. Os funcionarios sao atenciosos e muito profissionais, principalmente os que trabalham na frente. Marcar horario e sempre facil e eles te enviam mensagens para lembrar. Acredito que os valores de dentistas aqui nos EUA sao tabelados ou muito parecidos entao financeiramente eles sao honestos e te cobram o que deveriam cobrar. Pelo fato de eu ser brasileiro, estamos acostumados no Brasil de os dentistas fazerem milagres, se dobrarem em mil para que voce saia do consultorio satisfeito. Mas aqui nos EUA e diferente. Muitas vezes eu ja vi as pessoas sairem com um buraco na boca e nao tem opcoes (coisa que no Brasil eles dariam um jeitinho o que aqui eles nao fazem, em consultorio nenhum. Nada de dente provisorio, ponte, principalmente se esta nos dentes de tras). Eles aceitam o Carecredit, que e tipo um cartao de credito que voce pode parcelar (e eles te oferecem para aplicar no consultorio). Em geral estou satisfeito, recomendo. Caso voce nao fale ingles uma das dentistas e brasileira e o dentista fala ingles e acredito que espanhol.

    I had a deep scale cleaning here and had a lot of pain and sensitivity afterwords, had to wait 24 hours for prescription to be called in after being told it was already called in. Not sure why they werent more proactive calling it in right after I left so I could pick it up on my way home. Maybe its because they are all focused on getting a virus? Separate door handle walking in, forced to wash hands and wear a mask. And when I filled out their questionnaire about COVID19 I was turned away because I decline to get tested for COVID19 or take the vaccine. I refuse to do business with someone that takes such an authoritarian stance. I have an immune system and live in a country where it is my choice to choose what I want to do with my body. I would rather die then be forced to get tested like a guinea pig or change my genetic code by a vaccine that has killed others. This policy of theirs is discriminatory and I wouldnt recommend other people to them.

    If you are up for condescending Dentists that is running a multi layer complex system to be seen, with COVID paranoia you found them. I highly recommend finding a different dentist. They cancelled my appointment when I was 1/2 mile from their place due to the fact I was by some one who identified with COVID ten days prior to my appointment. I have no signs, been fully vaccinated and they have over the top precaution in place( I'll give them that). Anywhoo after calling me everyday prior to the appointment to make sure I was coming to then sending a questionnaire the night before my appointment on covid exposure then the questionnaire ending with we look forward to seeing you and then cancelling right before my arrival is a bit to far. Good luck Mona Lisa, I serve in the military so you can be free to be a caustic organization. Your welcome!! But I won't be going back. You cost to much for this headache. They also had a laundry list of issues that were not previously found by my other dentist, and military dentist. huh sounds similar to other posts I just seen on here. Save your self time and look elsewhere.

    I used to be a very apprehensive dental patient. But Dr Vallecillo and Dr Menna showed me that it isn't a big deal. I had a few cavities when I first began going, but now with cleanings and exams every 6 months or so, I've not had any. I'm now very comfortable going to to the dentist. If you are fearful of going for dental exams/treatment, go here, you will probably be pleasantly surprised.

    I saw Dr Menna for a cleaning and exam and she was really nice and said I had a few cavities on the right side and and a few on the left. I scheduled the fillings for the right side shortly after my first visit and it was a horrible experience. She started drilling immediately after she numbed me and I felt everything. I told her I was in a lot of pain and asked if she could wait a few minutes, but she kept going. I never went back for the left side because I was too scared. I went to a different dentist and he said I don't have ANY cavities. There's no excuse for being dishonest about the treatment your patient needs.
