Born and raised in the Pelham Bay area of the Bronx, Dr. Healy's interest in healthcare began at an early age. Guided by a family member in the field of medicine, he quickly realized dentistry was his future.
Dr. Healy completed his Bachelor's degree in Biology with minor in Theology at Manhattan College. After graduation, Dr. Healy worked as a substitute elementary school teacher where he gained experience understanding children.
He went on to graduate from New York University College of Dentistry, earning his degree of Doctorate of Dental Surgery. While attending dental school, Dr. Healy worked at a Psychiatric Hospital as a mental health worker. He gained experience in the areas of adolescent and adult psychology.
Having 30+ years experience in the field, he continually strives to provide the most state of the art techniques in Implant restoration. He frequently attends conferences and hands on seminars. Dr Healy also completed training with the Academy of Laser Dentistry.
As a dentist, Dr Healy values gentle, compassionate patient care. He offers conservative treatment plans and has an eye for perfection, striving to provide the best, most comfortable patient experience for all, be it a young child to a senior.
