Our treatment will enhance your overall health & appearance! We carefully examine your airway, facial aesthetics, the shape of your palate and jaw and the placement and fullness of your lips and cheeks relative to your smile.

This is the #1 reason most people choose Molen Orthodontics to design their smile. We are uncompromising in our pursuit of designing natural-looking smiles using the latest technology and most cutting-edge techniques. For example, 3-D x-rays and goo-free digital scanners. We do not cut corners and deliver the same level of care that we would to our own children. For this reason, many local dentists seek us out when their own children are ready for treatmenta fact that we are very proud of.

Our doctors are world renowned for their expertise in orthodontics. Combined, our orthodontists have written several peer-reviewed journal papers, textbook chapters, and given over a hundred lectures world-wide on the topic of cutting-edge orthodontics. For example, Dr. Aaron serves on the Technology Editorial Board for the prestigious American Journal of Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics and was the Chair of the American Association of Orthodontists Committee on Technology.

Our orthodontists have earned a reputation for quality and kindness as theyve served our community. This reputation has been earned over the decades by designing beautiful custom smiles for tens of thousands of patients. We believe that a beautiful smile is the result of combining both artistry and science, and we work hard to design unique, natural-looking smiles for every single one of our patients.

Our doctors are not content using old techniques from the past but instead seek out the most progressive and innovative approaches to designing smiles efficiently and as painlessly as possible. We often treat cases that were considered untreatable by others and work hard to avoid the unnecessary extraction of healthy adult teeth. In addition to always working to avoid the extraction of healthy adult teeth, we are happy to say that we discontinued the use of headgear over a decade ago! Instead, we embrace more progressive techniques to address overbites.

Dr. Bruce has been designing beautiful smiles since 1972. Dr. Rick, Dr. Aaron, and Dr. Chris have continued this tradition and are thrilled to now treat many third-generation patients. This legacy of quality is the reason grandparents bring in their own grandchildren to Molen Orthodonticsthey know theyll receive the same personal care they received over 45 years ago. Our doctors plan to continue Dr. Molens legacy of quality for decades to come.

Our orthodontists are proud, long-time residents of the community we live and work in. In fact, Dr. Rick and Dr. Aaron both graduated from Auburn High School. Since Dr. Bruce Molen and Dr. Aaron both make their homes in Lakeland Hills and Dr. Rick lives in Bonney Lake you may just bump in to them while grocery shopping or walking the dog. You might also see Dr. Chris walking the trails of Tehaleh. Being true locals, we are constantly looking for ways to give back to the community we love so dont be surprised if you see our name as a sponsor of local community events and teams!

Webelieve that each smile is unique and our doctors design each persons smile to work in harmony with their facial features. Wehave worked hard to learn cutting-edge techniques that allow us to create a more natural and curved smile arc instead of the flat smiles typically produced using traditional orthodontic techniques. Wehave found that though the orthodontic science and technology behind what wedo creates the foundation of the smile, its ourartistic vision and dedication that ultimately brings your inner smile to the surface. Tools like Damon Braces and Invisalign help us to deliver the results were known for, however the primary determinant of success is not the tool itself but the artist wielding it. You can guarantee that our doctors will deliver a beautiful custom-designed smile that youll love for the rest of your life.

We are proud to say that thanks to the reputation of our doctors, patients travel from all over the region to receive their Molen Magic Smiles. Some from as far away as the Arctic Alaska, Hawaii, the Aleutian Islands, California, Idaho, and beyond.

I just have to say that every single person at Molen Orthodontics has made this experience so great for my son. He used to be afraid of the dentist, but coming here has changed his thoughts about visiting the dentist in so many ways. It's a great environment with a staff team that truly cares about your child's experience. My son has gotten braces and a Herbst appliance, and is now back to finish up with his bottom braces. I can honestly say that because of the friendly staff and environment, my son now looks forward to his visits! Thank you so much Molen!

Live changing experience! I have nothing but amazing things to say about the Molen Team! I came in with some concerns about my bite, and ended up getting braces and jaw surgery over the course of 1.5 years. From start to finish the Molen team made me feel so valued and cared for throughout the entire process. They listen to your individual concerns and collaboratively come up with a treatment plan that fits your needs. It was such an amazing experience and I recommend them to everyone!

This office is amazing! They really go above and beyond to make a fun & comfortable visit for kids and parents! From having an awesome clinic with fun for the kids, relaxation for the parents, to sending hand written notes specific to the kids in the mail and having an ice cream treat at the end of every visit. I'm so thankful we chose Molen for our treatment!

I have gone to Molen as a young adult to get my wisdom teeth out and now my two kids are getting braces there. I've been super happy with them and would DEFINITELY recommend them. My son is on the Autism spectrum and when he was 6 they let him come for checks a little more often then normal just to get him comfortable coming Into the office. He used to struggle just letting them see his mouth. By the time he got services done he was a pro and was excited to get going with the process. They explain everything to him every step of the way and answer all his many many questions about everything. My daughter has sensory processing disorder and although she makes it more of a challenge to get some of the stuff done, they have always been so patient and go above and beyond to make her comfortable. The perks they offer are great but above that having caring people that treat your littles with respect and care means more then anything. I know my kids needs are a tad higher and if they can so seamlessly do services and my kids are happy then that speaks volumes to the type of place they are.

I took both my kids here for braces. We had originally gotten multiple consultations but liked the one stop shop and pricing of Molen. Their staff was fantastic and I felt confident of their knowledge. Overall we are very happy with our experience and especially the results!! I recommend anyone getting braces to check them out. We are extremely satisfied!

My daughter and I had a fabulous experience at Molen! Everyone we interacted with was kind and personable. Their office was clean and had lots of cool features for both kids and adults. The ice cream bar at the end was a big hit! Dr. Aaron did a great job of explaining his recommendations for my daughters smile and getting her excited for her treatment. We would definitely recommend Molen ortho!

5 stars isn't enough stars!!!! For the longest time I wanted to fix my smile. I finally got the courage to take a consult with Dr. Aaron and was so impressed with him and his office that I took the leap and got adult braces. The experience was so easy, I don't know why I waited so long! If you are not happy with your smile, don't wait! Go to Molen Orthodontic and you will be overjoyed by the result, just like me.

Not autism/sensory problem friendly. every time someone gets their braces off they play loud music and put on disco lights. this gave me sensory overload and made me have a panic attack. if you or your child are autistic then DO NOT go here. otherwise its a nice office with nice staff its just very loud a lot of the time which can definitely be too much for people like me. they werent very understanding about my problems either... but im kinda used to that at this point.

I took my son to Molen Orthodontics for his first visit and we both had an amazing experience. Not only was everyone kind and helpful, but the establishment was beautiful and boasted many amenities. I was beyond impressed! I mean, they had a killer arcade and massage chairs in place for the adults! Not to mention, a delicious assortment of ice cream to choose from after your visit :) We had everything explained to us in immense detail and it was so friendly. Everyone was amazing and fully educated and compassionate and more than willing to address any questions or concerns we had. We even received two cards from the office a couple weeks later thanking us for our visit. The front desk was so sweet, they decorated a card with amazing artwork depicting dinosaurs and a meteor shower and directly thanked my son for coming in. The second card we received was so lovely and personal. Ariel, one of the staff members, remembered what we did for mothers day and even addressed how cool my sons mask was. The attention and care towards the patients is lovely. Thank you all so much for your kindness and amazing experience. You truly care about your patients :)

Hi. I am Kamiya and I got my braces today and it was such a great experience. I went in scared and thinking everything would hurt. I didn't have any pain. I am so excited. The techs and Dr. Chris are so so kind and really make sure you understand what is going on. I have never been treated so kind or included in any of my medical or dental conversations. At 11, that was so great to feel important.
