Moitoso Dental is a family-friendly dentistry practice located in North Port, Florida. We are conveniently located for residents of Charlotte and Sarasota counties. As a member of The International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Dr. Moitoso is highly qualified to provide you with some of the best dental care in town. For your convenience, the doctor is certified and trained in the LANAP protocol. The doctor is also trilingual in English, Spanish and Portuguese. His staff is bilingual in English/Spanish.
Dr. Edward Moitoso is a graduate of Tufts Dental School of Medicine in Boston, MA and has been practicing dentistry for 30 years. He is a resident of North Port where he operates Moitoso Dental, a family owned practice. He has been practicing in North Port since September 2007 and he is fluent in speaking Portuguese and Spanish. On top of his many certifications and qualifications, Dr. Moitoso is a member of the AAFE (American Academy of Facial Esthetics), ICOI (International Congress of Oral Implantologists) LANAP Protocol Certified Dentist, and is highly trained and certified in the latest dental technologies. In his practice, he delivers the most up to date dental treatments to his patients to include, LANAP, Clear Correct Braces, BOTOX, and E4D CAD/CAM technology used for delivery of same-day crowns.
Denise moved here from New Jersey. She graduated from the University of New Mexico Dental Assisting Program. She has been a dental assistant for over 30 years. She enjoys spending time with her husband & family.
Liz is the Practice Manager at Moitoso Dental and runs the office professionally. Liz has been an accountant for over 19 years and currently enjoys working with her spouse. On her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling & pets, especially Blondi.

I Had a very bad root canal pain and in need of a new dentist. I was a new patient and worried i wouldnt get an appointment . They got me in the next day by surprise. A friend of mine locally told me to go see moitoso. Im really happy so far with how i am treated professionally. I will continue coming here as long as i live in the area. All new state of the art equipment and very straight forward

The staff at the dentist office was very friendly. That's what I like when I go to a dentist office to see yes I am very happy my mouth feels good my teeth feels very clean in the past years, I have gone to other dentists office they were not clean and the staff was very unfriendly. I would never go back to them anyway you guys are very clean and excellent staff. Thank you.

I was very fortunate to find this dental office unfortunately it was a spur of the moment thing because of tooth pain I just kept putting myself off due to the fact that I couldn't afford it even though I had insurance and one day I had no choice and I'm really glad I found them they are exceptional kinds considerate moderately priced accommodating accommodating and friendly and very clean and I tell everybody how glad I am that I found them

Dr. Moitoso is very patient and caring. He explains all procedures in detail and makes each appointment as comfortable as possible. The office is beautiful, super clean, and well organized. I definitely recommend Moitoso Dental.
