I was pretty anxious hearing that I had to have all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed. On top of that, I learned my teeth were completely impacted and it would be a very difficult oral procedure. Because of this, I was nervous about the surgery and I've been pushing it back for years, some because of lack of confidence in my previous surgeons. After moving to the Greensboro area and being referred to Dr. Schiavone, I became more confident. His expertise and clear prioritization of patient care made Dr. Schiavone a great provider. Not only is he a very knowledgeable surgeon, but you can tell he really cares for his patients. The office checked up on me multiple times to make sure I was doing well and healing properly. I highly recommend Dr. Schiavone to anyone who needs an oral and/or a maxillofacial surgeon!!!

Having a tooth pull is never fun, but a painless, professional procedure it was I had. I would highly recommend going to Mohorn and getting with the new dentist Dr S. Great experience..

I cannot say enough about Dr. Mohorn and all of his staff. His staff has to be the friendliest group of medical professionals I have ever encountered in my 65 years of life. My 17 year old daughter loved Dr. Mohorn, and she really liked that he talked to her about her procedure and not me. We highly recommend them.

Was referred by our dentist to have teeth extracted by Dr Mohorn; very nice people at the front desk; all of the folks assisting the dentist were nice and made my mother, who is 88yrs old feel very comfortable; mom is very sensitive to pain and Dr Mohorn did a excellent job; he made sure afterwards that she had medicine afterwards; she had no complications and her recovery is excellent; our family is very satisfied and would highly recommend Dr Mohorn

Needed oral surgery today to remove a front tooth with internal resorption and had to have a bone graft. Dr. Mohorn was great, his staff was amazing. In a few months he will complete the dental implant once the bone has healed. My regular dentist Dr David Civils created an amazing temporary tooth to bridge me to the implant. THANK YOU Dr's Mohorn and Civils. Resting comfortably at home tonight!!!! So appreciative of your talent and professionalism!!!! I also want to complement the staff you have working with you, the amount of reassurance and wisdom they gave me was.......well I will just say #AMAZING. KUDOS to all.

Hopefully you're not a disabled veteran seeking care here, because I was literally discriminated against for it and refused treatment from a VA referral. I know how medical history and current medication forms work. I've had to complete several over the years for service-connected injuries. The office manager, Nancy asked what medications I'm taking over the phone. I said none, because I'm not. The medication list sent with the referral was outdated. I explained that. She specifically asked about my mental health history, which is definitely a HIPPA violation, and why I'm not taking those medications. I said I didn't have to tell her that, because I'm not currently prescribed those because they are outdated. She said she needed to talk to the provider I haven't had for 3 years to ask why I'm not taking them. When I attempted to explain, she said the VA can send me somewhere else. I may not work in the medical field, but I know this isn't right and not how a referral for a non-sedated tooth extraction works.

I had my wisdom teeth removed a week ago, all 4! Dr. Mohorn and everyone in his office were great! I don't usually write reviews but it's quite overwhelming searching for an oral surgeon so just want to give some information for anyone out there looking! When I went in for my consultation Dr. Mohorn went over my x-rays with me and thoroughly explained everything and took the time to answer any questions I had! I was also very please with the fact that Dr. Mohorn took an approach to minimize the the need of pharmaceuticals. He used a combination of pharmaceuticals and homeopathic treatments for my best possible outcome. On the day of surgery the lady assisting Dr. Mohorn was amazing! I wish I remembered her name but I was a nervous wreck before and completely out of it afterwards. She knew exactly when to distract me conversing about other things and when to let me process alone to settle my own mind. It's such a fine balance and she nailed it. I didn't feel a thing! After the surgery I was a little sore but my pain was well managed following the directions that I was given. I didn't even have to use steps 2 and 3 that were given to manage intense pain! Instructions were thoroughly gone over with the person driving me home as well. They have called to check on me twice now and I haven't had any complications!

Dr. Mohorn is an awesome doctor. He's extremely thorough. My case was a particularly complicated case for multiple implants and he took great efforts to make sure everything from the lab was perfect. His staff are great people - every time I needed help, had a question, or issue they were very quick to respond. I won't go anywhere else if I have any other needs.

I had went to another oral surgeon before coming here. The first place told me that there was a good chance my lower face would become permanently numb if I got my wisdom teeth taken out. Well I'm glad I decided to get a second opinion because Dr.Mohorn actually took 3D X-rays to figure out where my nerves were at. The next day after having my wisdom teeth out I had full feeling back. I did get an infection that didn't want to go away, Dr Mohorn's office did everything they could to make sure I got healthy again. I appreciate this staff so much!

My child is still suffering from complications of the wisdom tooth extractions that were performed 4 months ago. She suffered days from an infection after extraction that was just blown off as "part of the process of healing". Finally, when she couldn't take it anymore and fevers and vomiting got worse... it was confirmed she had a bad infection. He had to cut her back open to remove all the pus. She got better eventually but has been having sinus infections since. It's been confirmed from DUKE Medical that it was from the surgery that left a hole in her nasal cavity. Extreme Caution advised when choosing an oral surgeon!

Very little wait time. Dr. Motorbike is very personable and puts you at ease. Procedure was well explained and went off without a hitch. Some soreness for several days, but that was explained beforehand. Overall a good experience.

I had four of my wisdom teeth removed I was very nervous going into this. I've never had an IV and I have never been put to sleep. They assured me that I would be well taken care of and done a great job about calming be down before they started surgery. Dr. Mohorn and his staff are amazing and really take their time with you. They are all very nice, respectful, and they know what they're doing! I would recommend anyone who needs oral surgery to go see Dr. Mohorn.
