Dr. Poya Moghadam is a native of South Carolina. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences at Clemson University in 2003. He then earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC, in 2007.
Dr. Mo has been practicing in Cherokee County and has dedicated himself to providing his patients with quality dental care. He lives by a very simple philosophy: Treat every patient like they are a family member. By following this rule, he has been able to provide his patients with quality work and maintain high ethical standards.
Keeping our services efficient and productive requires state-of-the-art dental technology. We utilize digital X-rays and panoramic X-rays to get a clear picture of a patients teeth and how they are situated in the jaw. We also use intraoral cameras to get a better view of a patients teeth and gums, and patients can also see what we see on the computer screen. We strive to offer same-day treatment post-diagnosis whenever possible as well to keep visits both productive and convenient.
Not every dental office offers prompt emergency dental care, but our team can help you or anyone in your household when you need us most. Simply give our office a call, and we will offer advice over the phone and then begin preparing a treatment room. Dental emergencies can range from a throbbing toothache or dislodged tooth to unusual gum swelling or bleeding to a dental abscess. While we hope youll never have to see us for a dental emergency, we are always available to assist if necessary.

I absolutely love this place!! Everyone here is so welcoming, attentive, personable, and professional. I mean EVERYONE! The receptionist, hygienist, and dentist...I love them ALL. The hygienist Jen is my absolute favorite and I recommend this place to everyone I know!

My entire experience at Moghadam was wonderful. The staff at the front desk was extremely welcoming and kind. My hygienist, April was very attentive and patient. Dr. Moghadam answered all of my questions and was both professional and attentive. I could not recommend this practice enough.

They are so nice, and make you feel welcomed. The dental office is really clean. They make it quick but still make sure you are satisfied with your cleaning. April provided great education and helpful tips to me about my teeth cleaning and flossing.

I never thought I could say that going to the dentist was a pleasant experience but Dr. Mo and his staff have never let me down. It has always been a pleasant experience. When my tooth broke, they immediately worked me in and prepped the tooth for a crown. In a couple of more weeks, I'll be sporting yet another new crown. Just continuing to add to my ROYALTY status. I highly recommend this dental practice.

After a sleepless night due to a toothache I stopped by Moghadam Family Dentistry the next morning and had an appointment in 30 minutes. This is a top notch practice. Every person is courteous, friendly, polite, understanding...etc. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Mo.

Dr. Mo's office is absolutely amazing!!!! He is the ONLY dentist I will go to. I hate all dentist, except him now. Anytime I have had to have a shot, you can't even feel the shot going in! He is the best dentist I have ever went to! Jennifer is the best hygienist around!! Love her!!!! She is awesome as well. The whole staff... You just can't say enough great things about them!

I have been a patient of Canton Marketplace Dentistry for years. In that time I have never had a bad experience. Dr. Moghadam and my dental hygienist April have continually exhibited professionalism, expertise and a welcoming communication style.
