Dr. Matthew Moen was born and raised in Lewistown, Montana. He attended Carroll College and received his BA in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. Following undergrad, Dr. Moen attended the prestigious Oregon Health Sciences University School of dentistry where he graduated with clinical honors in 2009. He received the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Award and the Pacific Coast Society for Prosthodontics and the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry Award. These awardsrecognize outstandingstudent achievementand dedication to the discipline of oral and maxillofacial surgery and anesthesiology as well as academic scholarship and clinical proficiency in fixed and removeable prosthodontics. Dr. Moen also receivedthe Hanau Best of the Best Award given for outstanding knowledge andexpertise in the study and practice of prosthodontics.

Dr. Moen is an active member in the American Dental Association, Montana Dental Association, andAcademy of General Dentistry. He also belongs to the Montana Study Group headed by Dr. Ed McClarren of(UCLA). The Montana Study Groupconsists of a team ofgeneral dentists, orthodontists, oral surgeons, prosthodontists, periodontists that continually strive to enhance their knowledge of dentistry through research, continuing education, and clinical practice. Dr. Moen belongs to the Frank Spear Study Group.

Dr. Moen is passionate assisting charity organizations. He worked on the medical teams international van and has participated in give kids a smile event since 2007. He has volunteered in the local school systems and boys and girls club to educate children and provide dental screenings. Dr. Moen obtained his hospital privileges in 2009 at the Central Montana Medical Center to treat children and people with special needs under general anesthesia with a nurse anesthetist/anesthesiologist. Dr. Moen isthe residentdentist at the Nexus Treatment Facility in Lewistown, MT.

Dr. Moen enjoys playing basketball, fly fishing, hiking, camping, watersports, snow skiing, and his true passion bow hunting. He loves spending free time with his wife Vanessa and two daughters; Kenzington and Kennedy. He moved back to his hometown in 2009 to join his father Don in practice and enjoys being able to give back to the community where he was raised! Dr. Donald Moen was born in Butte Montana and graduated from Butte High in 1973. He attended Carroll College in Helena Montana and graduated with a BA degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry in 1977. He attended the University of Minnesota Dental School and graduated with honors in 1981 with a DDS degree.

Dr. Moen is an active Member of the American Dental Association, Montana Dental Association, and the Eighth District Dental Society since 1981. He was inducted into the American College of Dentistry 18 years ago and remains an active member. He has also been a member of the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Moen has been involved with the Montana Study Club for twelve years. The club was under the mentorship of the internationally know prosthodontist Dr. Frank Spear. The Club meets four times a year for tow day sessions focusing on new techniques and the achievement of clinical excellence through proper diagnosis and treatment planning. The club is now being mentored by Dr. Ed McClaren a renouned esthetic and porcelain expert from UCLA. Dr Moen is committed to doing high quality work for his patients. He is especially interested in cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry along with all other general dentistry.

Dr. Moen is know by his patients for his kind gentle and caring nature. Dr. Moen has been providing excellent care to the Lewistown area for 32 years along with his wife who is a dental hygienist. Their dream of building a state of the art dental facility became a reality in 2009. His son Matt joined the practice in 2009 and is now a partner in the Moen Family Dental Practice.

I graduated from Carroll College Dental Hygiene School in 1977. I'm the wife of Dr. Donald Moen and mother of Dr. Matthew Moen. After practicing dental hygiene in Great Falls, Montana and Minneapolis, Minnesota, Don and I decided to open our practice in Lewistown in 1981. I started as Don's dental hygienist, dental assistant, receptionist, and the office manager. I've enjoyed providing dental services in every area of dentistry. As our practice grew our staff grew to what it is today. I am starting my 37th year in the dental profession. Lewistown has been a wonderful community to raise my family of three children (Nicole, Matt, Monique) and enjoy my career. Our patients over the years have become my friends!

Hello! Vickie Ungefug here. Currently, I am the Moen Family Dental Center's front desk receptionist. I was born and raised in Livingston, Montana and am a true Montana Gal. I attended Montana State University (Go Cats) where I studied nursing and finished three years of the program. I am married to Larry Ungefug, the retired post master, and we have been in Lewistown for 25 years. We've raised our three children (Tucker, Abby, and Tyler)hereand I have worked for Dr. Donald, Dr. Matt, and Cindy Moen since 1988,

Hi, I am Ellen Miller, and Igrew up in Lewistown. After graduation, I studied at Montana Sate University Bozeman. I returned to Lewistown and married Terry Miller. We live with our two boys (Jared, Jake)on the family ranch south of town. We enjoy following their school activities and 4H activities.

I've been with Moen Family Dental since 1994. I'm a certified dental assistant and certified in dental radiography.I really enjoy getting to know our patients and providing them with the best possible care.

Hello, my name is Kenda Horacek and I am so excited to be working for Moen Family Dental where I work for an amazing dentist and staff. I've been working as a dental assistant for 6 years now and been with the Moens since 2012. I have grown to know and love the field of dentistry! My degree (CDA) is in early childhood so I bring 19 years of experience of working with children with me. I've lived most of my life in Lewistown, and love seeing familiar faces and value the relationship you form with each patient. I have a wonderful husband (Steve) of 31 years and together we have been blessed with two children, Bryan and Kayla, and 5 grand children. Every extra moments we have is spent with family.

I received my Dental Hygiene degree from MSU, Great Falls in 2004. I started working for Moen Family Dental in 2006. I had worked for them previously as an assistant in the early 90 's. That is when I caught the 'dental bug.' I like providing dental care for my patients and I enjoy getting to know them. It is gratifying when a patient tells me I have helped them achieve a healthier smile.

My husband, Ted and I have been married 32 years and have lived in Lewistown since 1991. We have 5 children. Helen is married to Jeb and they have our grandson, Paxtyn. Our other daughters are Katy and Cecelia. All 3 girls graduated from Fergus. Our sons, James and Luke currently attend FHS. I cherish my time with all my family including my parents, Frank and Mae Zimmerer. I enjoy reading, gardening, and traveling.

I like working with a team and always enjoy learning new things. I have three children (Aubree, Rylee, and Huck) and really enjoy camping, boating, and snow skiing.

My name is Ann Philipps and I started working for Dr. Moen in 1992 following my graduation from Carroll College. I received my BAdegree in Dental Hygiene. I really enjoy getting to know our patients and helping them maintain a healthier dentition. I am married to Dave Philipps and we have two sons (Parker and Jayce).
