Dr. Tajik is an experienced cosmetic dentist who has helped some of the nations most famous faces attain beautiful teeth and winning smiles. He is specialty-trained in an array of dental treatments, from dental implant restorations to teeth-whitening and porcelain dental veneers. Dr. Tajik combines his compassion for his patients and artistic skill with extensive dental experience to provide you with the smile that lights up the room.
Dr. Kasra Tajik is a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (the national dental honor society) and the American Dental Association. He has dedicated his entire career to helping people maintain healthy teeth and gums and a bright, beautiful smile. Trained at the world-renowned USC School of Dentistry and a Masters recipient from UCLA Anderson School of Management, Dr. Tajik custom designs treatments to each individual patient. He utilizes some of the most advanced techniques available, with the goal of providing safe, effective treatment and results that can improve both form and function of your teeth. Dr. Tajik also places a high priority on making treatments as comfortable as possible, and offers a number of sedation dentistry techniques designed to relieve anxiety and help you relax during the procedure.
Dr. Tajik is deeply passionate about the effect a smile can have on ones life. In 2013, Dr. Tajik and a group of USC faculty, alumni, and dental-students traveled to Kenya, Africa, to deliver quality dentistry to underserved communities. During an intensive 3-week period of grueling, 9-hour days, Dr. Tajik and member of DHOP treated over 300 patients, with a majority of local children experiencing their first dental visit. More than 95% of the adults treated had never received any kind of dental treatment before. This experience and other volunteer work allow Dr. Tajik to give back to the community and provide help for those in most need. Whether he is transforming smiles thousands of miles away or here at home, Dr. Tajiks passion for creating beautiful smiles is the driving force of his commitment to dentistry.
It gives me great pleasure to announce that on November 5th, 2018, I will be moving my practice to a new location on Victory Blvd., where I will be joining Dr. Tajik, also a USC graduate. Dr. Tajik has a similar philosophy of practice and patient care and has extensive training in cosmetic, restorative, and surgical dentistry.
The new location is a more modern facility with improved diagnostic equipment and instrumentation, such as digital x-rays, digital imaging/scanning, and laser guided gum therapy and bone regeneration. The building has a large sign, appropriately stating Modern Smiles.
It is located at 10545 Victory Blvd., North Hollywood, CA 91606. The nearest cross street is Cahuenga Blvd. There is a parking available either in front or behind the office, which can be accessed through the alley located on either side of the block. Dr. Shahira Saad completed her Undergraduate training at UCLA with a degree in Psychobiology, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Due to her love for Los Angeles, she decided to attend UCLA School of Dentistry where she graduated Cum Laude and won numerous awards and scholarships. Dr. Saad then decided to continue her training by completing an AEGD (Advanced Education in General Dentistry) residency at the UCLA Venice Dental Center. Her residency focused on proficiency in cosmetic smile design, implant placement and restoration, as well as conservative restorative dentistry. She continues to keep her training and knowledge up to date by taking numerous continuing education courses in cosmetic and implant dentistry. Dr. Saad strives to provide excellent patient education and communication to ensure that all of her patients feel calm and comfortable. In her free time she enjoys hiking, beach days and traveling.

I had an amazing experience at Modern smiles. If you need a carrying professional Dentist Dr.Kas is the one. Also the staff are very kind and helpful . And the office is very beautiful and clean . For a nice pain free dental work definitely try Modern Smiles.

I had my first experience with Modern Smiles on Wednesday 4/13/22. All staff is so helpful and professional. The hostess lady was so nice and sweet. I filled all papers out and then met the dr. Tajik's assistant . She did my teeth cleaning. After I hooked to Dr Tajik himself. He was so professional and polite. To be honest I didn't expect such A fancy place except Medical. Great experience

I want to leave this review excluding my wife from all blame who was the victim of negligence by Doctors Kasra Tajik and Shahira Saad who, due to poor service to my Milka Aguilera, have caused enormous problems that to this day Feb 23, 2022 they don't finish My wife asked to go to her clinic to change some veneers with the illusion of improving her aesthetics, her teeth were perfectly healthy, she takes great care of her teeth, Dr. Shahira was the one who started her procedure with many errors, from not advising her correctly, from to leave the temporary plastics for 4 months and not to follow up because Dr. Shahira moved to another clinic and left Milka unattended. Dr. Kasra who continued with the procedure, because of her intervention in removing the temporary veneers, caused trauma to both teeth to the point of ending up requiring endodontics on both teeth!!! And what did they do when she complained of pain? They wanted to sell you the root canal procedure!!! They were not responsible for helping Milka solve the problem. On the contrary. Milka spent $7,600 to remove the veneers incorrectly bonded by Dr Kasra and paid for root canals on both teeth. When she went to seek help for the last time, the doctor only told her that wherever she went to another dentist, they would leave her teeth ugly like she already had them and the pain would not go away!!! That is too much arrogance from this man, irresponsibility and also lack of professionalism. Until recently she asked for her money back and what did Dr Kasra do? As a condition of returning her money. He made her sign a paper where it would be an agreement not to bother them anymore and forbade her to speak more about what happened on social networks.... And so they ruined her front teeth, she had a root canal done on 2 teeth and the pain is not over yet. .. If she was interested in truly giving her patients satisfaction, she should have paid everything she has spent since they caused this big problem, paying for her root canals, Appointments and medications but they did not even give her her full money, they only returned 3000 dollars ...she deserves at least compensation for causing her so much pain...Dr Kasra makes fun of telling her that her teeth were ugly...My wife was a victim of her 5 stars, I remember she was very happy when she saw her 5 stars on social networks .... What a pity for irresponsible doctors, if you are going to come to this clinic do not get carried away by the 5 stars, most of these clinics send an email asking for reviews to the patient, but or so it is until today my wife takes pain medication and has not been able to recover, be very careful where you have a procedure, look for doctors who truly love their job which is to help patients not only those who seek to fill themselves with money the bags And we demand that the doctor apologize for mocking the appearance of my wife's teeth by making her feel ugly as she sought them out for help.
