I recently moved to Naples from Miami and was worried about finding a new dentist. Dr. Alvarez and his team made my transition seamless and wonderful. He has such a gentle and patient way about him and is so kind with everyone! Would also like to shout out to Carlos who did my cleaning with no pain at all! I am so happy with my new dentist and his staff!

I am very pleased with the services given here at modern smiles. As most do, I have extreme anxiety about the dentist. I may have even referred to it as a small phobia, but after this comfortable experience, my outlook on dentists has been restored. Dr. Alvarez was very understanding and patient, as well as the rest of the staff. Everyone was lovely & caring and the atmosphere was clean & non-threatening :) My root canal went smoothly and I am no longer in pain. I plan on continuing my "teeth-work" with this team. :) thank you.

Such a fantastic experience! I've long had a fear of going to the dentist based on previous experiences. Dr. Alvarez made me feel incredibly at ease, took the time to explain everything, and was incredibly empathetic. So happy to have found this amazing office!

I am so happy to have found Dr. Alvarez. He is very skilled, explains everything he is doing, and is extremely kind and patient. He even fit me in on an extremely busy day to repair a crown. His staff is also excellent and goes out of their way to make the visit pleasant. I highly recommend Dr. Alvarez and his staff!

Dr. Alvarez and his staff are simply amazing! Dr. Alvarez was very patient, kind and answered every question I had, as well as explained everything that I needed done in great detail. His staff was really nice and welcoming. I'm terrified of the dentist, but they all made my visit a very pleasant one. My husband is a patient here as well and couldn't be happier with his results. Looking forward to going back for my follow up. I most definitely recommend this doctor.

Dr. Alvarez is an example of professionalism, dedication and love for what he does and his patients. He always explains what you need. I travel three hours to see him and it's so worth it. The staff is amazing and the service is incredible. He follows up with his patients always with a call home to find out how his patients are feeling and responding to treatment. He's the kind of doctor that becomes a friend. Absolutely the best!!!!!
