Dr. Kuznia is a 1999 graduate of the University of Florida College of Dentistry. After graduation, she was commissioned as aDental Corps officer in the United States Navy. During her 10 years of active duty service, she was stationed at Great Lakes, IL, Mayport, FL, Bethesda, MD and NAS Jacksonville. While in the Navy, Dr. Kuznia attained the rank of Lieutenant Commander.
She completed postgraduate training of a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) Residency and an additional three-year residency in Periodontics at the National Naval Medical Center ('The Presidents Hospital') in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Kuznia finished her naval career as the Periodontist for NAS Jacksonville. Dr. Kuznia remains in active service in the Naval Reserves. She resides in Jacksonville with her husband and threechildren.
Dr. Storch, your Jacksonville Periodontist, is a 2007 graduate of the University of Florida College of Dentistry. After graduation, he completed a one-year residency as a General Dentist at Harvard University School of Dental Medicine. In 2012, he completed postdoctoral training in a three-year residency in Periodontics and achieved a Master of Science in Oral Biology at the University of Florida, School of Advanced Dental Sciences.
Dr. Storch has also attained the status of Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, the highest standard of knowledge and proficiency in his dental specialty. In order to provide the highest caliber of care, Dr. Storch participates in several Study Clubs, lecturing engagements and holds a position as Associate Professor at UF College of Dentistry. Dr. Storch also volunteers at River Garden Hebrew Home and the American Diabetes Association. I was referred for a bone graft & laser treatment -- can't say enough good things about Dr. Storch and staff. Everyone I have interacted with has been a delight, Joan at the front desk has been especially helpful. I have been to bot the Arlington and Beaches offices, they are both very clean, bright and welcoming spaces.

I received a bill for $600-something and called their Billing Dept. She informed me that the insurance wouldn't pay the claim and that it was so late that it'll have to be forwarded to their collection agency. Since I've been with them for several years, and to avoid the hassle, I thought it's just a glitch, plus, I was in a rush, so i just gave her my CC# and told her that I'll contact the insurance and get reimbursed. No problemo. I called the insurance and they confirmed denial due to a billing procedure issue. Come to find out, the claim being filed was almost 3 years old. So, I called Billing back and she says that it's still my responsibility and hung up. I'm like WTH?!?

Nothing but trouble with their billing department. Make payments through my bank, but it takes over a month for them to process the payment and clear it. Strange, when I call and complain, the payment finally shows up.

I cannot recommend Modern Periodontics enough! A little over a year ago, I was faced with the terrifying prospect of having to get extensive work done on my teeth and gums. During my admittedly jittery first visit with Dr. Storch, I was reassuried by his gentle kindness, that he genuinely understood my concerns, that he would take every precaution to assuage my fear. Since then, he, and his amazing staff, have earned my complete devotion and respect. My mouth is healthier than it's probably ever been; I am grateful beyond words. I don't usually do reviews but I think it's worth it .. as a physician myself I try to find other professionals carefully .. I had a gum transplant and was very anxious .. the procedure went smooth the doctor is awesome and the staff is great .. very professional kind and efficient.. I am taking a few pointers for my office as well .. I trust them with my mouth from now on :)
