Dr. Kuznia is a 1999 graduate of the University of Florida College of Dentistry. After graduation, she was commissioned as aDental Corps officer in the United States Navy. During her 10 years of active duty service, she was stationed at Great Lakes, IL, Mayport, FL, Bethesda, MD and NAS Jacksonville. While in the Navy, Dr. Kuznia attained the rank of Lieutenant Commander.
She completed postgraduate training of a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) Residency and an additional three-year residency in Periodontics at the National Naval Medical Center ('The Presidents Hospital') in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Kuznia finished her naval career as the Periodontist for NAS Jacksonville. Dr. Kuznia remains in active service in the Naval Reserves. She resides in Jacksonville with her husband and threechildren.
Dr. Storch, your Jacksonville Periodontist, is a 2007 graduate of the University of Florida College of Dentistry. After graduation, he completed a one-year residency as a General Dentist at Harvard University School of Dental Medicine. In 2012, he completed postdoctoral training in a three-year residency in Periodontics and achieved a Master of Science in Oral Biology at the University of Florida, School of Advanced Dental Sciences.
Dr. Storch has also attained the status of Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, the highest standard of knowledge and proficiency in his dental specialty. In order to provide the highest caliber of care, Dr. Storch participates in several Study Clubs, lecturing engagements and holds a position as Associate Professor at UF College of Dentistry. Dr. Storch also volunteers at River Garden Hebrew Home and the American Diabetes Association. I found this office, on the Southside, via Google and reviews. Thanking all who posted as I am very pleased with the service provided. I chose not to post until after my surgery on 2/14/22. Initial office visit: I was extremely nervous and Dr. Kuznia spent time with me explaining in detail what my current gum health was and the steps that would be taken to make them healthier. I was given a plan for care and the cost. Pre-op/surgery Necessary info provided for the best outcome. I sat with a Jamie and she outlined everything in great detail. Prescriptions were given to me at this time to fill before surgery. Payment was made at this time. Day of surgery Staff and Dr. were ready and on time. Surgery went well. Performed with mild sedation. I don't remember the surgery but afterwards, get this....no pain!!! I am serious. There was tenderness and swelling but for me, no pain afterwards! Post-op visit and cleaning. All went well. I had my cleaning today and it was thorough and painless! The hygienist, Breze, was great! Professional, personable and courteous. I highly recommend! This is the first time I have ever gone to a periodontist. I was nervous, Dr Storch makes you feel very comfortable and relaxed as you can be. He explained everything in detail. The staff was very nice and calming also.
