The Modern Orthodontics offices, in Clermont, Apopka, and Bushnell, have been custom designed by Dr. Wong, with patient comfort in mind. He has assembled a team of fun, knowledgeable, and friendly staff members who genuinely love what they do. With an emphasis on creating a happy, positive environment for the patients, the office is filled with smiles and laughter.

Dr. Wong received his Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Studies and then his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Florida. Following that, he served as a dentist with the rank of lieutenant in the United States Navy, then he returned to college for his orthodontic residency training at the Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY. In his final year there, Dr. Wong was chief resident.

Believing it is his responsibility to continue furthering his knowledge and expanding his professional skills, Dr. Wong regularly takes continuing education courses at the local, regional, and national levels. As oral healthcare is a constantly evolving discipline, he knows its essential to stay on the leading edge of developments in treatment methodologies and technological advances in order to provide his patients with the best options available.

Patients love Beckis up-beat personality. She is a native to the Clermont area and has over ten years of experience in the dental field. When shes not in the office, Becki enjoys shopping and going to the beach!

Kelli is a native Floridian, and has recently moved to the Clermont area. She has over nine years of dental experience. Kelli has a beautiful daughter and loves shopping and going to football and volleyball games.

Krystal has a new home! You may remember her big smile from the reception desk. Krystal has decided to grow in our family and bring her talents to help assist Dr. Wong . She loves making all of our patients feel comfortable and welcomed when they sit in her chair. She is both fluent in English and Spanish. On her free time she enjoys watching Netflix in bed cuddling with her pillows. You may also see her smiling face every day at your local Chipotle because Chipotle is her life.

Christy Perez had been an Orlando native all her life before moving to Minneola with her husband Ray and her son Cole who was born in 2011. They enjoy spending family time together and love taking Cole to SeaWorld on weekends. Christy is our New Patient Coordinator at Modern Orthodontics, and as a new patient, she is likely the person youre going to meet first. Because she loves working at Modern so much, youll feel the enthusiasm too!

Tiffany was born and raised in Florida. She just graduated from Orlando Tech and is looking forward to her new career at Modern Orthodontics! In her free time, Tiffany enjoys going to the beach and hanging out with her friends and family!

Jodie is our director of finance and strategy. She graduated from University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and then continued her education at Rollins College where she obtained her Masters of Business Administration. She formerly worked as a Senior Financial Analyst for Red Lobster specializing in marketing analysis & strategy. While Jodie has spent many years in corporate finance, she is no stranger to small business, having spent many summers helping her parents with their printing company in South Florida. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, shopping and crafting.

Nayelli was born and raised in Florida. Shes also new to the dental field. She will be the first smiling face you see when you enter our office and the last face youll see on your way out! She is fluent in both English and Spanish. On her free time, she enjoys spending time with her kids, watching Impractical Jokers, and boxing.

Jennifer was born and raised in Bronx, New York. She relocated to Florida 4yrs ago with her husband and two daughters who are 13 and 9. She has been in the dental field for over 10 years and Ortho for 4yrs. In her free time she loves spending time with family, watching Netflix and relaxing witha good book.

Because we run on time and never overbook patients, your wait time will be minimal and youll soon be in our treatment area, where youll have free X-rays and an exam so Dr. Wong can determine your specific clinical treatment needs. Hell spend time talking with you about whats needed to straighten your teeth and the different options available to make those changes. Here, we believe that patients should know their options and be an active participant in deciding what treatments theyre most comfortable with pursuing. We wont pressure you into a specific treatment, but will give you the information you need to make an educated decision.

Once orthodontic treatment has begun, well always be here for you. Should you have an after-hours emergency, Dr. Wong is on call and available to help you, including overnight and on weekends. Should you ever have concerns about your treatment progress, were glad to talk things over with you and evaluate whats going on.
