Our practice is comprised of professionals who take your oral health very seriously. Dr. Kruszewski is the only board certified Endodontist in Tampa, FL and is one of only a few in all of Hillsborough County. This places him in an elite group of specialists (less than 25% of all Endodontists in the country) who have demonstrated exceptional academic knowledge, clinical skill, and have a very deep understanding of scientific evidence-based dentistry. The American Board of Endodontics fully endorses only those Endodontists who have reached the pinnacle of their profession clinically and academically by becoming board certified.
At Modern Endodontics, you arent just a patient. We treat everyone who walks in the door like family, truly listening to you so we can understand your unique oral healthcare needs. We take our time to clearly explain our procedures to you and outline the exact reasons you need them, including any alternative treatment options. We also answer all of your questions and concerns before we begin any treatment. If your recommended treatment needs are complex or unexpected, Dr. Kruszewski will call your referring dentist to discuss treatment before any procedure is initiated. This ensures that you receive the best continuous care possible, limiting any risk of miscommunication between our offices.
Once your treatment is complete, our office will provide you with a 24/7 after-hours emergency phone number to directly contact Dr. Kruszewski in case any complications arise after treatment. You will also receive a personal follow-up phone call from Dr. Kruszewski the day after treatment to check in and see how you are doing.
From the soothing scents that will relax you throughout our office, the comfort that our memory foam neck pillows provide, to the peaceful noise cancelling headphones that you can enjoy while watching Netflix during treatment, we do everything possible to put you at ease at Modern Endodontics.
Using advanced equipment with efficiency and safety in mind, we are able to provide top notch care. As you tour our office, you will appreciate that everything is organized, clean, comfortable, and thoroughly sterilized. Your comfort and safety are our priority.
We have access to the latest breakthrough technology in our specialty including surgical operating microscopes, low radiation dose digital xrays, and Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT, or 3D xrays). These tools allow Dr. Kruszewski to treat you more quickly, efficiently, and effectively.

I loved the calming vibe of the front office plus Dr. Kruszewski and Shawn were very welcoming and friendly. Nobody likes getting a root canal but Dr. K was very knowledgeable and had excellent bedside manner. He followed up with me a few days later to check how I was doing post-proceedure. If I ever need a root canal again in the future I know where to go. Thank you Modern Endodontics.

I received a root canal on tooth #8 and Dr. Kruszewski was very informative and comforting he also did a very good job with root canal and temporary filling. I will be going to the dentist he refereed for the permanent filling in one week. I called the office at 9 am and was in the chair at 11 am, Big thanks to him and his assistant!

I was referred to Dr. Kruszewski while I was still in the chair at my dentist (shout out to Dr. DeMarsh who told Dr. Matt what I needed right on the phone). They told me to head right over (a block away?) and he'd get the root canals for teeth 6 & 7 taken care of same day. First impression walking in the door is total Zen. And you notice behind the desk, origami birds hanging by fishing line from the ceiling and very soft lighting throughout. If you were nervous walking in, looking at all of them has a soothing effect. I'm immediately shown to the chair where I meet Dr. Kruszewski (Dr. Matt). Even wearing a big face mask, I could see his smile through his eyes. He has a genuine politeness. He put me at ease the whole time, explaining what he was doing and often asking if I was ok. I have a mouth full of root canals already, so I'm a pro, but he showed me root canals that are at jeopardy and it was easy to see why. He uses amazing technology and as I start the process of restoring some of these old root canals and crowns, I won't see ANYONE but him! Thank you, Dr. Matt.

I RECOMMEND DR.K 100000%!! Brilliant, soooo empathetic and literally has STATE OF THE ART imaging used on of my sinus cavity, jawbone in addition to my gums and teeth,...and only he was able to see the infection in my palate with this technology , THANK YOU Dr.K!!!!! I might add that my root canal was painless and I was calm because you explained what you were doing step by step.my treatment plan was a success!! THANK U

I persons know Dr. K, professionally and personally. I have worked with many Endodontists over my 32 years and he is one of the best technically, and has an awesome bedside manner. I personally have had 4 root canals by him. His diagnostic skills are awesome. I developed a bizzare infection they teach you about in school but I have never seen it in 32 year's but he figured it out. His assistant /office manager Shawn awesome as well they are kind of like Batman and Robin.

Dr. K is the best. I have had 3 root canals done by him. Each time he has been kind, personable, and explains exactly what he is doing while he is doing it. He puts you at ease. He's very patient and if you are nervous he explains everything in detail so you understand what is happening. When I had to go back to him for a 3rd root canal I wasn't even nervous because he is so gentle. That says a lot considering I have major dental phobia. To put it bluntly, He is simply awesome. I wish that he practiced regular dentistry because I would go to him in a heartbeat. The way he treats his patients should be used as a teaching model. It is exemplary.

Dr. Kruszewski is fantastic! I am so glad that I was referred to him for my cracked tooth. Not only is he calm, caring and patient; he is extremely skilled in his expertise and thorough in his evaluations. I went to see Dr. Kruszewski because I had a cracked tooth. However, due to the manner in which my tooth had cracked, there was a possibility that I would not need a root canal. Dr. Kruszewski did not recommend rushing into a root canal, but took every step possible to avoid one. I think that says a lot about his ethics and his commitment to patient focused care. In the end, I did need a root canal and when that time came, I was 100% confident that the procedure was the way to go and I was 100% confident in Dr. Kruszewski skill and ability. I would highly recommend Dr. Kruszewski to anyone needed a root canal.
