She obtained her certificate in dental hygiene from Howard University in 2015. Dentistry runs in the family as her mother is a dental assistant and her older brother is a dentist. Their experience and knowledge help fuel her passion in dentistry but also make for lively dinner conversations. She enjoys educating patients about the oral systemic, a healthy body starts with a healthy mouth. Putting patients at ease and providing a calm environment is Cristina's specialty.
Aside from dental hygiene she loves staying active by hiking, weightlifting and yoga. In her time off she also enjoys traveling, ask her about her road trip up the west coast! She is also a huge animal lover and fosters dogs for a local DC rescue organization.

I have been seeing Dr. Abramson for years. He has an excellent chairside manner and takes time to explain everything. I have sent so many friends to him and they all love him too. Fran and Cristina are great hygienists and are gentle and thorough. I give them 6 stars!

Dr Abramson voted Top Ten Dentist in DC by the Washington Magazine what an Honor and for me to be serviced by Dr A and the A Team. I have the best smile behind a mask in the DMV.

I would not normally review a dental office. Actual service is fine; but I REALLY dislike your appointment policy/practice. I need to make appointments 6 months in advance to coordinate with a periodontist, and not to be told that the next free slot for a long-time patient is 8 months out.

Best dentist experience I've had! Super easy to communicate / schedule with via email, and they were also able to confirm exactly what my insurance would cover before scheduling. Even though they are booked for almost 6mo, my husband and I were both able to get appts within just a couple of weeks off the waitlist. All of the staff - from front desk to hygienist to dentist himself - are incredibly nice and efficient. They were also way more thorough with their exam than any other dentist I've been to and explained everything. Highly recommend!

Prompt and professional service, as always. But pain from teeth and gum problems can be pretty awful, and I do wish they were more willing to prescribe a small amount of pain meds when OTC meds just don't do the job.

Dr Abramson is a consummate professional with the best bedside manner of any dentist who has ever attended me. He is gentle, considerate, understanding of my extreme dentist anxiety and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him for regular and anxious patients. Love Modern Dentistry. The staff here make all the difference in the world. They are knowledgeable and friendly and so welcoming. The front office staff in particular are really wonderful. They make complicated things like billing seem like a breeze and even reached out to a previous dentist of mine to get my Xray records transferred. They really go above and beyond. Highly recommend!
