In 1985 Dr. Gary Belian had a vision to combine his two passions: art and dentistry. He converted an old house on a busy corner of Rochester and Square Lake to an art gallery and dental office. Dr. Raffi Belian had the opportunity to work alongside his father and is now running the practice. He continues to enjoy treating patients in this wonderful environment.
Dr. Belian graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2003. Since graduation he has focused on continuing education in cosmetic dentistry, advanced bone grafting techniques and implant dentistry.
You will find Dr. Belian as a very caring individual who is extremely personable and passionate about dentistry. He goes above and beyond to ensure his patients are fully satisfied with the care they receive.
Dr. Gail graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. During Dr. Gail's career, she spent several years on staff as a clinical instructor at the University of Detroit School of Dentistry. Dr. Gail Callaghan enjoys practicing general dentistry. Her patients feel very comfortable around her and always enjoy her warm personality. She has been a wonderful addition to the Modern Dentistry family.

This is my favorite dentist I've ever had. Great office, great employees. They even performed a removal of a root canal tooth, and put in an implant and were amazing.

I drive, on average, 1 hour and 15 minutes to see Dr. Belian. He's well worth the drive. An expert in his profession which is difficult to find.

I had a wisdom tooth pulled out and compared to my previous time he did a wonderful job. ! The staff was also very friendly . The doctor , staff and whole environment just make the procedure just a little less painful !

As a mom with two little kids (3 & 4) visiting the dentist for the first time I couldn't have imagined a better experience. The staff was so friendly, gentle and patient. The dental hygienist took her time, talked to them and explained what she was going to do before she did it. She made it interactive, she let them feel bristles, push buttons and feel for intensity of air or water pressure. Dr. B was so friendly and kind, he explained what I should be looking for and the overall status of their dental health. My kids left asking when they would get to visit again.

Had a lovely experience today! Wait time was only a few minutes. The dental hygienist was very thorough and made sure I was comfortable during the whole cleaning procedure, which is something I always dread. Dr. Belian was great too. Definitely recommend!

We have been going to this office for over 20 years, our family was Dr. Raffi's dad's patients and now his son Dr Raffi is our entire family dentist, him and his staff are very professional and honest! I feel so comfortable when I visit the office. Highly recommended for all your dental needs
