Dr. Millan was born and raised in Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Schreyer Honors College at The Pennsylvania State University and attended The Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University. Dr. Millan was inspired to go into dentistry by his father who is a dentist practicing in Philadelphia.
Dr. Millan completed a residency at St. Lukes Hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania where he served as chief resident. While he was there, he received advanced training in endodontics, orthodontics, implants, and extractions
Dr. Millan is committed to furthering his dental education. He implements the latest dental procedures and technologies. For the past several years, Dr. Millan has been working in private practices, treating patients with a variety of dental conditions. He is comfortable working with patients of all ages. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and is working toward his fellowship.
When he is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Millan enjoys working out, playing tennis and golf, and rooting for Philadelphia sports teams. His wife Rachel grew up in Dresher, Pennsylvania. They have a one year old son, Harrison who keeps them very busy and happy.
Sandy has been a valued member of the office for 28 years and is the practice co-ordinator. She plays an important role in the finance department and is excellent at communicating with the insurance companies in order to maximize the benefits for all patients. Sandy also is an expert in helping patients find creative ways to budget for the optimal dental care that they need and desire. Sandy has a general concern for all patients especially the senior citizens. She enjoys her free time boogie boarding, canoeing, birding, gardening, and watching professional football and baseball.
Megan - Expanded Functions Dental Assistant Megan has been with the office for 9 years.She achieved her Associates Degree in Science from Manor College 6 years ago. Megan enjoys working with the doctors and utilizing her E.F.D.A. skills. She also loves making the patients comfortable in the chair and answering their questions. Megan enjoys spending time with her family and friends, andadores being an Aunt.Sheis a regular at Phillies games, and loves the Philly Phanatic!
Paula has been a dental hygienist with the office for 13 years. She graduated from Montgomery CountyCommunityCollege with an Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene. Paula loves teaching patients how to care for their smiles and much more. Implementing new techniques and delivering quality care are what matters most to her.Paula enjoys biking, spending time with her grandchildren, and playing withher dogs.

Unbelievably amazing service!!! Most gentle cleaning and staff was incredibly warm and receptive. Came in with tooth pain and left with a much cleaner mouth and plan for a better dental future. Ty so very much for helping me to improve my smile !

My girlfriend came here for an annual checkup and came back for a filling. Her bite was messed up for weeks and she had to go to another dentist to fix it. Even worse is now that tooth is INFECTED, she has to treat the infection before she can get a root canal elsewhere. I would love to know what is not being kept sanitary that caused you to worsen your patient's health, not improve it.

From the girls up front to the girls in the back, and Dr. Millan I can't say nothing bad about there. He explains everything that he is going to do. Never had a problem. You never have to wait to go in the back, they get you right in.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I had a really bad experience with a dentist, with that said, I neglected to go for...well I'll keep that out. So I needed alot of work done! It took almost 8 months & I must say my teeth look beautiful! I can smile in confidence! The whole team was a pleasure to work with! This place is amazing. They gave me a whole new smile. I feel much more confident and happier. They worked hard with my insurance company to get it all covered. Wonderful people that work there. The dentist is very nice and understanding. They are so friendly.

Worst dentist I ever been to. Went a couple months ago with a gum issues ask him if I could get antibiotic Because there was probably an infection and said no I just do a deep cleaning and then will take it from there. Went back 2 days ago for same problem and said there is nothing I can do for you. Your gonna loose your tooth. I said can I can't antibiotico and he said you can't continue taking antibiotic . I told him you never put me on any . Walked out and next day went for second opinion and of course like I said had an infection . Never again going back to that place

Now I'm in my early 50's and thanks to my family pushing me I finally had a full extract and Dental procedure. Needless to say I was quite nervous but the team at Modern Dentistry took care of me. I had two separate procedures done tops then bottom . The whole thing was a breeze, very minimal pain or discomfort and now that Im healing my mouth has never felt cleaner. I would recommend Dr Millan and his crew to anyone. Thanks again I have my smile, confidence back and I'm a healthier person for it.

BEST DENTIST EVER!!! This was my first time here and I'm so happy I found AND was able to get into this dentist! From the front desk staff, to Deena the hygienist, to the dentist himself; everything was exceptional. I was taken back so quick, everything was explained to me, and I was very comfortable. I am usually ridiculously nervous and full of anxiety at the dentist. Everyone eased my anxiousness, and my work was done efficiently, painless, and turned out beautiful! I can't recommend this office enough!

I'm very picky when it comes to Dentists. I had the same one for 23 years until he retired last year. I tried 2 other dentists until I found Dr. Millan. He is gentle and good. Being in my 80's it's nice to not have to worry about my dentist. It's like the old days when you went to your neighborhood dentist. I thank God for Dr Millan and his staff.

Dr. Millan and his office staff are excellent! Sandy at the front desk got me an appointment as a new patient on the same day that I called. I had horrible tooth pain and they tended to my needs immediately. They are always friendly and compassionate. I didn't have a long wait and was seen within 10 minutes of my appointment time every time I was there. There's no worse pain then tooth pain and their office was amazing! I would certainly recommend my family and friends. Thank you all for helping me feel comfortable with my smile again! I appreciate it!
