Dr. Inna Anssari, DDS, is the owner of Modern Dentistry. She has been recognized by the International Association of Dentists as the Top Dentist in Illinois for her outstanding work and experience as a general and cosmetic dentist.
'My introduction to dentistry came from my mother who was a dentist in Tashkent. I love my profession as it allows me to meet interesting people from very different backgrounds and from different cultures and positively impacttheir quality of life from eliminating pain to enhancing their smile.'
Since she opened her office in 1993, she and her team members have earned a reputation for being a dentist you and your family can trust and go to when you need help be it for regular check-ups or for more advanced work like cosmetic dental implants, veneers, teeth whitening or to receive a BOTOX treatment.
Because Dr. Anssari is dedicated to staying up-to-date with the latest technologies, she is frequently among the first dentists to utilize the newest, more effective and most advanced techniques and equipment available in the dental field.
She graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Dental School in 1990. Prior to dental school, she graduated from UMKC with a degree in psychology. In 1996 Dr. Anssari completed a year-long course in Implantology, which enables her to performsurgical and prosthetic phases of implant dentistry in her office.
Dr. Anssari is an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID). She is also a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), CDS, ISDS, and Advanced Dental Implant Studies group. The Advanced Dental Implant Studies (ADIS) group is an association of Implant Dentists from throughout the United States, each of whom has received advanced training in Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Anssari keeps up to date ondevelopments in the field of dentistry through professional literature, lectures, and conferences in order toensurethat her patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care.
Urszula came to the United States from Poland where she completed her education as a Dental Hygienist and Dental Laboratory Technician. Urszula joined the Modern Dentistry team more than 10 years ago as a dental assistant. She has worked hard to learn ins and outs of handling the day-to-day operations of our dental office and plays a key role as an administrative assistant. She has a great attitude and a warm smile and is committed to answering any questions you might have.
Inna has worked at Modern Dentistry for over 23 years. She is a wonderful hygienist. Having a medical background and a critical mind, she embraces scientific innovation, yet remains skeptical of the latest fads. She stays current with the latest developments in dentistry by reading literature and attending seminars. She attends patients during their cleaning and takes time to listen to their individual concerns.
Irina has worked at Modern Dentistry for over 15 years. She is a warm, caring person. Our patients appreciate her smile and assistance. With a background in ceramics, Irina has a technical mind and is interested in new dental technologies. She is quick to learn new skills and is a great asset to our office.
Elena is the first person to greet you in the office. Originally from the Ukraine, Elena came to America, graduated from Glenbrook South High School and earned a bachelor's degree in biology. Even though dentistry is a completely new field for her, she has fallen in love with its every aspect. She remains eager to continue her education and expand her knowledge.

I was seen for a filling and was told I would need root canal to save the tooth. Procedure was fast, painless, and I was very comfortable. The doctor and staff were very attentive, which is genuinely appreciated considering this was at end of day and on almost zero notice to them.

Today was my first appointment with Modern Dentist. Personally, their work there is amazing. They are incredibly nice which make you feel safe and comfortable. They did a very good job with my cleaning and I would totally recommend them. They are very detailed in their work and have noticed things in my teeth that have never been brought to my attention that other professionals have failed to do. I am genuinely confident that she will be able to fix all these problems.

Had a great experience here. Everything was very clean, and the receptionist, hygienists, and doctors were all nice. The hygienist explained everything every step of the way which I always appreciate since all the nose and sensations can make you feel anxious. I saw Dr. Tsiao and she was very gentle and made me feel as comfortable as I can during my dental procedure.

The oral hygienist is the rudest person I have met in my life. Besides the fact that she caused me a considerable amount of pain, she refused to give me painkillers and treated me in a very disrespectful way when I asked her to be more gentle. She has hands as light as a blacksmith. As I understand, this behavior was common in the Soviet Union, where she came from, BUT THIS IS STILL AMERICA!

Best dentist and dentist office I have ever been to. Dr. Ashley Tsiao is talented and caring. Urszula at the front is super nice and welcoming. I don't ever feel rushed. Rooms are clean and there is a large TV with calming YouTube videos playing. This is the first time I didn't get ultra nervous getting my teeth worked on. My smile is already looking better. Mega thanks all around

I enjoyed the clean office and friendly people at this office. The hygienist was very good and did not create any pain during the cleaning. On the other hand, I did not get a good rapport with the dentist. I do not recommend this dentist. I have been getting regular dental care my whole life and was told I basically needed to get work done on almost 1/4 of my mouth. But for the teeth where I was experiencing sensitivity, they had no idea which ones or what the problem was and I was told to pay more attention and figure out exactly which teeth before I come back. Based on that I got a second opinion suffice it to say nothing was in line with the first recommendations at all. The dentist left the room without waiting for further questions or even explaining why I needed all of the treatments. If you prefer conservative dentists, this is not the place for you.
