So grateful for Dr. Kim's honest advice. I consulted him for a second opinion, and he was on point with what I originally suspected. He took the time to thoroughly explain my situation and provide pictures to prove I had no need to be concerned. The ladies at the front desk were awesome, too!

Modern Dental is fantastic!! Anyone needing to choose a new dentist look no further! Dr. Mitchell and his staff are one of a kind. They make you feel comfortable right from the start. My family never have to wait. They really keep their appointments on time. You don't have to wait like other places. The best part is they pay attention to detail! You'll see that they want you to have a great experience and it shows!!I give this place 5 stars!!

Absolutely love this office. Dr Kim and and his staff are the BEST! Going to dentist was never my favorite thing, however visiting Dr Kim has changed my mind. My CEREC crown was done perfectly in less than 3 hours.

I've always dreaded dentists but Dr Kim has a gentle touch and his staff are so friendly and welcoming. The office is warm and super clean - I've been coming here for about 6 years and won't change.

They really are modern! And good! The office is nice. The experience was quick, straight to the point. The cleaning was good and thorough. They scanned my mouth for the invisible braces with a very modern machine that was so awesome. Dr. Kim is a smart guy and Azelyn, (I hope I spelled that correctly) was great at cleaning my teeth and answering my numerous questions. I like this place like I knew I would.

This office is so poorly ran. The professionalism and customer service were so poor that I felt like I was in a SNL skit or something. This has to be a joke right? Scheduling - It took me several contacts and days to just schedule my first new patient appointment via text. They would respond and then disappear for a day or so until I sent a text or something follow up. I was given multiple times for my appointment. The time I scheduled while in the office, the time that they text me for my reminder, and the time they gave me when I verified the time of my appointment. My fiancee actually had them reschedule her appointment without any contact. I guess they just assumed she would know that they changed it? Horrible. Insurance Verification - They verified my insurance before I came in. They elected to perform an x-ray that my insurance only covers every five years. If this is the case, why would you not verify if I were eligible? It's not like you explained to me every specific x-ray etc. I didn't know that something non standard was being done. I had another procedure as well, which I was also quoted the wrong cost for. Service - My service was fine. The hygienist was very nice and professional. I also saw the dentist briefly and he also seemed very nice. The last time my fiancee went in for a cleaning though the dentist was not there and never saw her. I think he was potentially not there because they changed her appointment so many times and they were so far behind he might have left for the day. There are just too many dentists out there to deal with all of this. Such a headache and so much money spent unnecessarily.

I just moved to the Richardson area and a front crown fell off again after many failed attempts by my previous dentists to make it stay on. Dr Kim worked me in and it has been months now with no problems. I recently went to his office for a cleaning and checkup. The whole office is quite professional and I hardly recommend Dr. Kim.

A topnotch dental office always! And I'm currently enjoying Dr. Kim's expertise as I go through Sure Smiles clear aligners system to close up spaces/changes in my smile due to my neglect in my 30's to continue wearing my orthodontic retainer (young people, wear that retainer!). Dr. Kim and staff are the best! And the office is clean, bright and safe!

This is a very nice practice! From scheduling and checking in with Haley, to the hygienist, Chantelle, and Dr. Kim, everyone is fantastic! I was anxious about finding a new dentist, and I really needed to do this checkup. My hygienist, put my mind at ease and made my experience a positive one. Dr. Kim is a wonderful dentist and I had a great visit. He is knowledgeable and explained next steps for future appointments. My experience at every level was effective, but very hurried. Perhaps there is pressure to serve more people in fewer minutes. I miss the caring staff who have moved on.
