Certain medical conditions and illnesses Diabetes, liver and kidney problems, chronic sinus infections, bronchitis, and pneumonia are several conditions that may contribute to bad breath. Keeping a record of what you eat may help identify the cause of bad breath. Also, review your current medications, recent surgeries, or illnesses with you dentist.

The check-in/check-out team were great. The Dental Assistant and Hygienist were great. My visit at this Dental office was very pleasant and I'll continue to be their patient.

This is the most unprofessional and unorganized staff I've ever encountered. They scheduled me a deep cleaning and did one side of my mouth with no follow up on the other side. I haven't been able to secure another appointment to get the other side cleaned. Who does this?? Initially they had me down to come back for the other side but canceled without my knowledge! I was told that they were so backed up after Covid and was having issues with scheduling. If this were the case , why even make an appointment for me to come back? I have never in my life experienced this type of behavior from a professional dentist office. My people ( smh)

I absolutely love Dr. Lawton's dental office as well as the staff! They're all so kind and very hospitable! He had an answer to every question I had and soothed my pain quickly! Not only is he my new primary dentist, but I'll also be referring every one I know!

I love this practice. I've been going here for about 3 to 4 years and I've never had an issue. I never have to wait long after I check in to be seen, and all of the dental hygienists and Dr. Lawton are very pleasant. Update 8/22/22 Updating from 5 stars to 4. I normally have a great visit but today's visit was not so pleasant. I was seen today to get brackets from an old retainer taken off of two of my bottom teeth. As usual I didn't wait too long to be taken back into the exam room, however, I waited almost 30 minutes in the exam room to actually be seen by the doctor. The dental assistant who was setting up everything in the room did not communicate with me at about what was going on. Normally they'll say, "The Doctor will be in shortly" but I wasn't told anything. I didn't realize she was an assistant and I assumed she was the one who was going to be working on me. I had no idea that I was waiting on the doctor. Finally, the doctor came in and started working on me. When she got to my second tooth it was very sensitive so I had to get anesthesia. They put the cotton swab with numbing gel on my gums, left the room and didn't come back for almost 15 minutes. They never came back to check on me to see if I was good. To remove the brackets off of my teeth probably took about 15 minutes, but my appointment was at 10 AM and I didn't leave until 11:30 AM. When it was time to check out, the girls at the front desk weren't familiar with my method of payment which was Care Credit. I've used care credit for all of my visits here and I never had an issue. The difference with a Care credit card is that you can't just swipe it like any other credit card, you have to go to their website and input the information for payment and they didn't know that. So it took almost 10 minutes just for me to check out. I was very upset and I believe that there needs to be more communication going on and maybe more training with the front desk.

Being going to Modern Dental for some years now. Always a pleasant experience. I had a tooth extraction sometime ago and the dentist made me feel so comfortable and assured. When the extraction was over she spoke to me briefly about options for replacing that tooth. I was very pleased with that experience.

Such a pleasant staff and knowledgeable dentist. Dr. Lawton is honest about what you need and what may be an issue later. I feel as though his staff cares about my oral health. It doesn't hurt that everyone has personality, especially Zoe and Addie (sp). The experience at Modern Dental is as comfortable as it can get for the dentist office. They use the best equipment and office is clean as a whistle. I highly recommend Modern Dental!!

Five stars doesn't cut it. Modern dental gives you an exceptional experience from the moment you arrive until check out. The cleanliness, the customer service, the thoroughness of information from the doctor and all of the team. Each visit for the last 2-3 years tops the previous visit (that's hard to find). I appreciate the perks of the coffee/hydration station and the mounted television (Netflix) in the ceiling to watch during your appointment/exam. Thanks Dr. Udunka and to the entire care team.
