For his first 11 years, Dr. Kevin Bybee grew up in Italy where his parents were doing missionary work, which they did for over 30 years. He returned to the United States and graduated from Sooner High School in Bartlesville. He then earned his undergraduate degree from Oklahoma Christian College in Oklahoma City. In 1980, he began dental school at OU College of Dentistry and graduated in 1984 with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree.
Dr. Bybee practiced in Oklahoma City for 19 years before moving to the Tulsa area. After much prayer and research, Dr. Bybee decided to start a dental practice in Owasso. In 2006, Modern Day Dental was launched.
In addition to exceeding the amount of continuing education necessary, Dr. Bybee has completed several advanced curriculums in continuing education through the years, including the prestigious Las Vegas Institute of Cosmetic Dentistry and the renowned Center for Advanced Dental Studies in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Dr. Bybee provides a wide variety of services including basics like fillings, crowns, root canals, and dentures. As well as more specialized procedures like dental implants, beautiful cosmetic work and Six Month Smiles (a short term orthodontic treatment to straighten adult teeth in an average of six months using nearly invisible braces).
In his personal life, Dr. Bybee is married to his beautiful bride, Michelle. They share a home with 2 kids, a granddaughter and Dr. Bybee's parents. He enjoys spending time with his family, outdoor activities, movies and video games. He also enjoys teaching children's Sunday School class with his wife.

If you have a small mouth and have had issues with getting proper fitting dentures, I highly recommend making an appointment with Modern Day. After having 4 different sets of dentures made by 3 different dentists, I was seriously beginning to think I was just going to be stuck with major mouth, TMJ, and neck pain. After just the consultation, I felt more heard by Dr Bybee and his assistant Terri than I had at any of the previous dental offices. All of my concerns were listened to and addressed at each step of the process. I am so incredibly grateful to finally have a set of teeth that fit my face and are painless to wear as well. Thank you all for helping elevate my quality of life.

Modern day dental is an outstanding dental office. From the moment you walk through the door to the completion of your dental treatment you are treated with outstanding service. Dr. Bybee has great chair side manner and is very gentle during treatment. His staff is always willing to help, they go above and beyond. Just wanted to say a special thank you to Dr. Bybee and his fantastic staff. I had a cracked tooth that was causing me unbearable pain and this caring staff was able to work me into their already busy schedule and get it taken care of. I was in bad shape, but they worked with me and fixed me up. I was especially impressed with the professionalism and knowledge they displayed, while still maintaining that hometown feel of a group of people you know you can trust. They are awesome and I cannot thank them enough. If you're looking for the best dentist in town, look no further than Dr. Bybee and Modern Day Dental!

Staff was professional, but they were not transparent on pricing. A consultation w. X-rays cost us $269 using their "wellness plan", which is a discount program that costs $95 a year, otherwise it would have cost us we'll over $400 dollars. Just some transparency for those seeking a consultation. They will not inform you of the costs until AFTER the work has already been done, and they do NOT accept payment plans for most of their services. All charges are due before services rendered. In response to owner: We asked for pricing while the associate dentist was performing the consult, but he told us someone would come talk to us from the front desk after everything was done. In fact, in exact order - A panoramic image was taken first, before the associate was even present. Second, x-rays were taken. 3rd, a camera was used to take images of individual teeth. At this point the associate came in to perform the consultation, and again - We asked for pricing and was told that once the wellness plan was setup pricing would be spoken about. At this point, someone was sent in to give us the treatment plan / pricing. We then went to the front desk to discuss it in detail. We asked for assistance with a payment plan and was told they don't do payment plans. We were told, "it was due to customers leaving and never coming back to pay". I understand - still sucked and still affects our finances. My recommendation is informing customers of consultation and associated fees before they are performed. We were just surprised by such a high bill with no opportunity to pay in smaller chunks.

Dr. Bybee and his staff take care of our whole family! The staff are always welcoming and the clinic is well ran. One of our kids doesn't enjoy getting his teeth cleaned but the hygienists and dentists are very (very!) patient and get the job done. We had to change dentists (because of insurance coverage) after years of being at the same place and we are glad we found Dr. Bybee!

How many people can actually say they enjoy going to the dentist?? I love my visits at Modern Day! Dr.Bybee is very gentle and patient! His main concern is your comfort, and is willing to explain the procedure in ways anyone can understand. Same with the hygienist! I always see Renee and have always enjoyed my experience and that feeling of fresh teeth after! Love all the staff here and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else!

I've been going to Dr. Bybee for about 4 years now and I love his honesty and no pressure approach. He will recommend to you your treatment plan if needed and let you make up your own mind as to when you want to get started. His whole staff from the Hygienist to the front office are always respectful and friendly. I would recommend Dr. Bybee and his office to anyone looking for a new dentist.
