Dr. Daygrew up in Sunnyvale, CA. He was accepted into the pre-dental accelerated program at the University of the Pacific, where he completed his Bachelors of Science in biology and his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco.
Not only is Dr. Day very welcoming and personable, but he has had extensive training in the surgical placement and restoration of dental implants, restorative designs and materials, and continues to take classes all over the nation in order to provide the best care for his patients.
Aimee started her dental career as a Registered Dental Assistant. After 6 years of being chair side, she heartily felt she wanted to have a more one-on-one experience with her patients. She attended Carrington Career College, and graduated as a Registered Dental Hygienist in 2017. When shes not making smiles bright, she enjoys her time with her husband, and 3 children.
Thao graduated from the University of the Pacific with a B.S. in Biochemistry and is currently doing a post-bacc program at CSU East Bay. Her goal is to be a dentist, just like Dr. Day and she hopes to learn a lot from everyone while working at MDD. In her spare time, Thao likes to hang out with her family, binge watch tv shows on Netflix and do 1000 piece puzzles.
Kayla graduated from the dental assisting program at San Jose city College in 2008. Raised in San Jose area, now living in Hollister with her husband Juan and two children Elias and Mathias. Kayla loves to spend time with her family and friends and in her free time her and her family love watching movies and going to the beach.
Nancy was born and raised in Santa Clara. She's happily married with two adult children and two dogs. Loves her job as an RDH, but on her off hours she enjoys gardening, hiking, gambling and cooking. Her favorite kind of day is spending time with family.
Chriselena was born and raised in Milpitas, CA. She graduated from Carrington College Dental Hygiene Program 2017. Her own experience growing up regarding oral hygiene has inspired her in pursuing a life of giving back. She strongly believes in providing quality and comfort and thrives on getting to know her patients on a one to one level. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and having outdoor adventures.
Maki worked as an HR and Accounting assistant prior to coming to MDD. She has been a long time friend of Dr. Day and is excited to build a welcoming and successful dental office with the team, After hours, she enjoys making pottery and crafts. Her favorite vacation place is Hawaii, and she is currently working on getting her pilot license.

My family has been very happy with the dentist visits to Dr Day and his team at this office for the past 4 years. Our two children really enjoy seeing them for visits, as we switched them from the pediatric dentist office they were with last year. The experience is much better with Dr Day, Kayla, and Maki.

I have nothing but praise for Dr. Day and his team. From the moment I arrived until the conclusion of the visit, I felt welcome and professionally cared for. I'd been on hiatus from dental care for a couple years, and my dentist had retired. A friend recommended Dr. Day, and I'm so glad she did. Dr. Day's chair side rapport is friendly, professional and reassuring. He's efficient and knowledgeable. His hands-on techniques are expert. The technology they employ with X-rays, imaging and cleaning are great; his explanations of what you see in the photos is super helpful. Looking forward to a long dental relationship with Dr. Day and team!

Followed Dr. Day from his previous location because he is very honest, knowledgeable and a great person. During Covid he has done everything possible to keep everyone safe! Very happy with every appointment and looking forward to a long relationship as my favorite dentist ever.

Life saver. I had a swallen jaw due to a wisdom tooth growth. At that time I was a new patient. The staff was very kind to take me in the same day I called, and suggested me to stand by waiting for available spot to see the doctor. Doctor Day helped to refer me to good surgery dentist with a timely arrangement. I felt like they really cared about the patient and is in full passion to help.

Modern Day Dental is professional and friendly. Dr. Day and his staff are accommodating and I was comfortable throughout my visits. They all, made sure I understood the procedures and talked to me through each step. Scheduling is very easy. I look forward to being a patient there for many years.

I have been coming to see Dr Day and his staff for a couple of years now and it's always a pleasure. The cleanings are painless and the office spotless. Dr Day is very knowledgeable in his craft and so are his staff. They are all gentle with their work, but get things done proper. There's even been an occasion where I've come in to see them while feeling a little glum and they just listened and let me talk. I absolutely love coming here. Highly recommend Modern Day Dental.

I am very pleased with my first visit and many more visit to come. After seeing all the reviews on Yelp and thru delta dental website. The office is very close to my residence, but what I really loved the most is how friendly the staff is they made me feel welcome. Dr. Day is very professional and explains everything to me what my X-ray shows and what is needed to be done. I can see it clearly on the monitor screen. I already booked an appointment to come back for a bit more work on my teeth

Very happy with the dental treatment I receive from Dr. Day and his practice. I have been with him since he started at this Santa Clara location and everything about it works gor me. I like the location,people,service, and price for services. His hygienist keep me on my toes to brush and floss twice daily and keep an eye on my mouth for anything they question with both Dr. Day and myself. The reason for such a high rating is a show of my satisfaction.

Great office with a friendly staff. The doctor was clear and concise in giving information and walking me through the process. The hygienist was very knowledgable and thorough. I am planning on coming back for as long as possible!
