Dr. Shahriela Ganjoor was born in Dallas, Tx and raised in Plano, Tx. She is passionate about making a difference in the community where she grew up. Shaggy was Dr. Shahrielas nickname given by her brother, Brandon, at a young age and it stuck. She is now known to her patients and around the community as Dr. Shaggy.She started her love for dentistry as a dental hygienist and decided she wanted to provide more comprehensive care to her patients and made the decision to return to school after working clinically for 5 years. She graduated from Western University of Health Sciences in California and came back to Dallas after graduation, knowing that was where she wanted to build her practice. Dr. Shaggy had a wonderful childhood in Plano and as fate would have it, there was no better location than The Star, just footsteps from the Dallas Cowboys headquarters!She is looking forward to building lifetime relationships with her patients and providing personalized high-quality dental care.When not in her natural habitat in the dental office, she enjoys live sporting events, spin classes, and dancing. Dont let her high heels fool you! Dr. Shaggy grew up playing sports and even joined a co-ed basketball team in adulthood. When you see her around The Star, she hopes you wont be shy. Say hello and pass the football to her!
There could not be a Doctor Shaggy without a Scooby! Scooby is Dr. Shaggys mini hippo puppy that she spends most of her time with. Scooby loves making appearances at the office from time to time! If you would like to meet him, we can check his busy schedule and see when he is available!

Allow me to be brief. You simply will not find a better staff, location, facility, and Dentist. These ladies are absolutely perfect. Not to mention, after your dentist visit, you can grab a workout downstairs. Perfect.

This summer my daughter and I visited this practice for the first time and had an amazing experience! This group truly rolls out the red carpet for their patients. They have thought of everything when it comes to comfort. I also appreciate the cutting edge technology they use to assess your teeth. They now have me as a patient for life!

Dr. Shaggy is amazing! She has a great vibe, fun, nd educational. Was able to show me 3d models of what to expect with treatment options. The office was clean and the staff is super friendly and just as inviting. Payment plans were offered to help with finances. Overall amazing dental experience! I was referred to Modern Bite Dentistry 3 years ago and I could not be happier with the service and offerings. Not only does Dr Shaggy and team ensure I continue to be cavity free, but they have also given me my smile back. How? First, by helping me understand Invisalign was the best option to fix a bite and alignment problem, and second by introducing me to a new micro needling technology that has been the most effective to diminishing my sun damaged checks. Dr Shaggy has recognized that confidence comes not only from looking your best but also feeling your best. She provides all you need to help you do both. Dr. Ganjoor is so sweet and personable and put me completely at ease during my first filling. Thank goodness they have nitrous!! They gave me the cutest little amenities list for my appointment with things on it like aromatherapy and a spa face mask!! They also offer several spa services like botox, micro-needling and oxygen facials. I've never been to an office this nice before!!

I recently moved to Frisco and was in need of a dentist. Probably like many folks, I have an aversion to the dentist chair so I'm pretty picky about dentists and hygienists. I initially met Dr. Shaggy in the neighborhood and found her to be extremely friendly. At the time, I did not know she was a dentist. Later, when her office came up as a possibility, I recognized her name and remembered how personable she had been in passing. I made an appointment and was able to get in the same week. The Modern Bite office was gorgeous, modern, inviting, and squeaky clean. Dr. Shaggy and her staff immediately put me at ease and were attentive to all my concerns and questions. I was pleased with the services and will most certainly recommend Modern Bite Dentistry to my family and friends!

"Modern" isn't the word for it -- "star trek" is more like it. They have equipment that hasn't been invented yet! Dr Shaggy is awesome along with her staff. I've only met Megan and Hannah but they really take care of you. I can't describe all the amenities but it's more like a spa. Warm towels. Scented candles. Netflix on the ceiling. The coolest? They have some sort of LiDAR that images your mouth instead of using plaster to make a mold. They fit me in and fixed me up and made sure everything was perfect.

This was my first time visiting Modern Bite Dentistry and I am over the moon with the Zoom Whitening service I received! Dr. Shaggy was very attentive, friendly, very easy to talk to, and just a beautiful human being inside and out! The equipment used in the office was state of art/top notch! The massage chair I was placed in was not like the ones you sit in at a nail salon, but the one hugs your body from head to toe! I mean literally, the heated chair, rollers under my feet, around my arms, calves, hip, was absolutely relaxing. Oh wait, did I mention the weighted blanket, the lavender scent, and calming sounds in the room?! Ummm yea! Great experience! Last, and definitely NOT LEAST, the staff was SUPERB! Hannah took TREMENDOUS care of me, made my bleaching trays, and explained everything I needed to know. Looking forward to my next visit for my facial! The future looks bright at Modern Bite! :-)

Dr Shaggy is the best ever! I had fallen face forward on my chin and bottom two teeth. She saw me right away. She reassured me that there was no damage just bruising. She also has the best staff who all work so well together. They are all very personable and care about the patients. Dr Shaggy is the best dentist!
