Mobile Dentistry of Arizona came to a realization that adults with mobility challenges and disabilities were not getting access to good oral care. It is estimated that only 50% of people with a significant disability were able to find access to professional and appropriate dental care. About one in five Americans have a disability and one in ten have a severe disability. Lack of care for this growing portion of our population is reaching critical levels. Overall the oral health of the average American adult has improved significantly in recent decades but oral health for a person with disabilities has declined.
In order to respond to this national dilemma, in 2009 Mobile Dentistry of Arizona decided to provide comprehensive dental services with a personal touch! This was conceived for individuals who find it difficult to leave their places of residence or employment, but still desperately need to enhance their health with excellent oral care.
We designed a fully equipped mobile dental office, complete with a lift for mobile scooters, wheel chairs, and ambulatory devices. Our staff consists of three doctors, three assistants, and two hygienists providing a wide range of general services as well as some specialty services such as oral surgery (extractions and implants), periodontics (gum treatment), and removable prosthetics (dentures and partials). Our Dentists are experts with dentures and partials, and have a full state-of-the-art denture lab on board! As with traditional dental practices, some denture work must be sent to a lab but most services can be done on-site in our mobile unit.

I have never been so happy!!!! I have a serious fear of the dentist and I just had more work done than I ever wanted to, but I couldn't have done it with any other office!!! They not only handled my anxiety and fear before each and every single appointment, but the dentist is incredible. He listened to me, and made me feel comfortable every time I sat down. I just had my final appointment and my partial looks incredibly amazing, I haven't smiled this big in years!!! I'm so grateful for everything they did for me, and for making it happen. If you're needing dental work this is the dentist to use without a doubt. And don't let you're fear of the dentist hold you back anymore, because they will help you through it every appointment!!!! I'll never use another dentist again!!!

First time we had to call Mobile Dentistry and I could not ask for better customer service and speedy results. My mother-in-law lost one tooth off her dentures and Mobile Dentistry walked me through process, pricing, and timeline. Ann (my contact) was personable, so helpful, and kind. I have worked with Ann and Dr. Hank in offices before Mobile Dentistry of Arizona was born in 2008 and have always had a great relationship with both of them. I have gotten to know the staff over the past 15 years and I can say that this team of individuals are extremely professional and caring for our elderly population. They are highly skilled in caring for patients with special circumstances like Alzheimer's and Parkinson's Disease, as well as all kinds of physical challenges. I refer all of my clients to MDOA for mobile services because I know they will get excellent care. it is a much needed service and I am glad that they exist and can provide what most dental offices are not able to provide.

I was in a rehabilitation facility because of a fractured ankle. I broke a tooth and was unable to have access to my regular dentist. Mobile Dentistry of AZ staff were prompt in scheduling, courteous, helpful, and I have been very satisfied with the work performed to date.

Quite pleased with the quality of care my elderly father with Alzheimers received from Mobile Dentistry of Az! Upon setting up his first visit, the office staff was very friendly, helpful and informative. The dentist was great about keeping me informed during dads visit and I felt confident in his diagnosis. We will continue using Mobile Dentistry of Az for dads dental care. And big thank you to Ann for her genuine care and kindness!

Bottom line...I am so pleased I found Mobile Dentistry of Arizona. I've had them take care of my Mom's dental needs since 2016. All services have been appropriate and well-executed. Not one problem or concern. They are so good with older patients and also great dealing with me! I get a call/report from the dentist or hygienist who saw her--speaking with them directly is wonderful. For about a year, I have had Candice (mobile hygienist) see her every other week for a thorough, deep cleaning at Mom's bedside. Candice takes the time to interact with Mom as she's treating her...not only that she texts me an update on how her teeth are doing. I am so blessed to have found Mobile Dentistry of Arizona...and Candice!

The phone lines are not very responsive. I asked to be called before anything was done with my dad. They showed up anyway and didn't call me until He was downstairs. My dad, who is 98, was confused and upset. I called yesterday because they hadn't gotten back to me about my dad's dentures. They called me this morning at 9:15 saying they were going to be at his place in 30 minutes. I made it very clear I couldn't be there and to reschedule, and I expressed my displeasure. 15 minutes later, they called to reschedule and that person knew nothing about the mix up. I again make clear nothing could happen unless I was there. An hour ago his assisted living place called to say the dentist was there, in spite of me canceling it twice. If the facility had not called, my dad would have her upset, confused and livid. I will never use them again.

I was treated with kindness and respect right away. I had a crown that broke off and MDA was able to see me the next day. Dr. Hank did a fantastic job and was very informative. The fact that MDA is mobile made it easier for me to get my appointment.

I was finally able to speak with someone at the office after not hearing back about a treatment plan or a full expense list for the proposed care plan. That may have been because I expressed hesitancy about agreeing to full extent of work explained in initial phone call but I didn't want to feel rushed or have the opportunity to discuss with my elderly father who was going to be the recipient of all the invasive procedures. I feel communication can definitely be improved at the very least.

My mom has severe anxiety and is afraid to leave the house and is scared to death of dentists. She had a bad tooth ache last week. I found Mobile Dentistry of Arizona. With ONE phone call, the mobile dentist team was on their way the next day! A full dental clinic on wheels pulled up in front of our home with a dentist, an assistant dentist and a dental nurse. Dr. Hank and his team were INCREDIBLE! My mom is now on her way to having her dream...a full set of dentures! She loves her new dentist and the convenience of being treated at her home.

Ordered teeth for elderly mom 10 months ago. Nursing home has called them quite a lot to no avail. No teeth and my mom has died. I'm contacting quite a few important people to file complaints
