They got me in with a emergency broken tooth and ended up removing 2 teeth. Very pleasant and quick service. I will be going back again in the near future!!

I went in for tooth pain from previous dentist filling which was sore and was affecting the tooth below. I felt like the dentist was rushing me out. He basically said if it's not a six or seven in pain dont worry about it and check in a few months. I said the filling tooth was making tooth below hurt and thought the filling was high. He didn't use the black tooth tape to check for high points, only asked if it felt high when closing. He only tapped on some teeth and had me bite down on something. I even asked a few times about if it may be high hoping he would use the tape. I travel the country and have seen numerous dentists and this one just didn't seem to want to find the cause of my pain. The pain is still there...why?

If i could give this place lower than one star I would. Went with no insurance but could pay. His staff is nice ,, but the "dentist" is rude. 140 dollars was sent for him to look at my tooth and tell me he couldn't do what i needed and that the dentist i saw before him didn't know what he was doing. I would have gladly went to my other dentist if he hadn't moved out of state. This man spent 5 mins charged me one hundred and forty dollars to do nothing at all . Then tried to pressure me to do something soon or else I would be sorry. Follows me to the desk to watch me pay. While Im in tears to give me no other option and tell me that any dentist i see after that will do it the way the other dentist would do it would be in the wrong. . When i didn't reschedule he beings his scare tactics again how I needed to get something done soon. Well yes that is the reason I came to you but never again. He spent more time with me at the receptionist desk making me feel stupid than in tge examine room . Not worth the money or the time . Wasn't going to write this, but feel sorry for anybody that would waste their time and money with him

So about a year ago I had all of my upper teeth removed, at my consultation I had asked if I could get laughing gas so I wouldn't know what's going as I have bad anxiety with dental work. I was told that wouldn't be a problem. Day of the pulling (a month or so later) I go in and I'm told laughing gas will not be used (i had to have these teeth pulled, I wasn't waiting another day). I was told I will feel pressure not pain. He squeezed my arm and pushed on my arm to help me understand the difference as if I'm a simpleton. He started pulling before I was fully numb, it wasn't pleasant to put it lightly. After half was done he went to the waiting room to tell my wife he was halfway done and he's doing the rest because he won't get me back in the chair. Once again yes I could've gotten up and left. But this needed to be done. My bottom teeth still need to be done and I will be seeing someone else. If your a regular and just have teeth cleaning etc. Then sure they're not bad as MOST people there seemed very professional. But I wouldn't recommend having any major work done here

When I pulled in and saw the mercedes that said Dr. Teeth I should have seen it as a red flag. I went there to have a tooth pulled that was causing me issues, one tooth. After the exam, he told me I needed 8 pulled and 3 fillings. Excuse me? Just a big money grab. When I asked him what are the next steps after getting that many removed he said "We will go over that when we get there." Um... I can't walk around with a quarter of my teeth missing and just "figure it out" later. It was obvious Dr. Teeth thought I couldn't afford it and brought up money multiple times even though I had enough to cover anything and everything he offered even without insurance, he was just assuming I was broke. As I was leaving and setting up another appointment I knew I was going to cancel, he poked his head out of the hall and yelled my business for the waiting room to hear, "You can get sedated for this many teeth being pulled but it will be another $750" and ducked back out. SO unprofessional and just terrible service. I saw him for maybe 5 minutes tops. His hygenist was the best part of the visit and it is a bummer because I really enjoyed her. Don't go for anything more complicated than a cleaning!!

I first went to see Dr. Horowitz in his new office about three years ago because I distinctly remembered his skill and honesty when he cared for my teeth 8 years prior during his stint with the National Health Service Corps which helps the underserved. I do not have insurance and don't go to the dentist unless I'm in pain. As a result, I don't have the best teeth, but there is no judgement in this clinic. I've been an irregular patient ever since. The current clinic is staffed with kind and talented professionals. The equipment is top quality in order to provide top quality care. Since dental degrees and the tools of the trade are costly, it likewise costs a fair amount of money to have proper care. I don't find the fees here unreasonable at all, quite the contrary under the circumstances; this is coming from someone who qualified as "underserved" by Maine state standards.... Dr. Horowitz is a good honest man and a very skilled dentist. Look no further when searching for the real deal.

Dr Horowitz was so kind. I came in from out of town. I had a porcelain veneer that needed to be re-bonded. He did not have the needed cement but called a fellow cosmetic dentist. The other dentist ( Dr. Palmer) was able to get it done immediately. Thank you both!!!

Very clean, great staff, and awesome for people with dental insurance. If you dont have insurance shop around first. Had a tooth extracted he was just as expensive as Aspen. High priced for people with no insurance.

I had a dental emergency while on vacation traveling from Tennessee. Dr. Horowitz made accommodations for me on the spur of the moment and provided excellent care. Both Dr. Horowitz and his staff were very professional. Special thank you to Jessica who kindly took care of me at the front desk. I would highly recommend Dr Horowitz.

I visit Dr. Horowitz annually for cleaning and checkup. The facility and equipment are up to date. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms have great ambiance and everything is clean. Dr. Horowitz is very concerned about the health of his patients and communicates well. I've had on cavity filled here, easy peasy! Would definitely recommend.
