Well known in the field of Periodontology and experienced in dental implants and periodontic procedures, Dr. Mark Khaimov is a member of numerous dental organizations. Including the American Dental Association, The American Academy of Facial Cosmetics, the American Academy of Periodontology, The New Jersey Dental Association, and the North Eastern Society of Periodontics. His office is located in Nutley, NJ.
Dr. Khaimov received his Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from New York University in 1998 and graduated in the top 10% of his New York University College of Dentistry class in 2002. He holds a certificate in Periodontics from UMDNJ after completing a three year specialty training in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry. He is a former clinical assistant professor in the Department of Periodontics at UMDNJ.

Discussing your symptoms and medical history with your dentist is the best way to determine if your dry mouth is serious. They can review the medications you are taking, including over-the-counter medications, and examine your mouth for signs of serious issues.

I was referred to Dr. Khaimov because I wanted to avoid a root canal and save one of my teeth from extraction. I had bone loss and deep infection. He performed laser and months afterwards now the infection is gone and my tooth is healing. My gums don't bleed from flossing the way they did before. I highly recommend him. He is gifted with intelligent precise hands and a great bedside manner, Thank you Dr. Khaimov!!

Today was my second visit for my procedure . From the first visit I felt comfortable. I ask questions and joke around with the staff who is great. They are helpful and friendly . Dr. Mark as I call him is a jokester as well. He answers your questions and very professional. I told him I wanted to be put to sleep for my procedure because I was a little nervous. He assure me I would be fine. My procedure was shorter than what I was told. So I thank God for that. I told his assistant that I was nervous because of a pass incident with oral surgery . She quoted a well known verse "from the NKJV For God had has not give us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and a sound mind" 2 Timothy 1:7. That was my Church motto during Covid . I said Amen. They proceed to do what they do and all went well. Thank you God for Christian doctor and staff. I am not done, but I have no reason to fear. Thank you Dr. Mark and your assistant.
