After completing dental studies at Sinclair Community College, Amy received her EFDA certification in 2000, and her commitment to education and continued learning did not stop there. Amy has advanced training in Invisalign therapy and leadership learning, along with CPR certification. Shes also been a member of the Dental Assisting National Board since 1999. Amy enjoys getting to know patients during their visit to the practice, building trust, comfort, and confidence in their dental care. She truly loves making people happy, helping to show off their healthy smiles. At Garland and Johnson Dental, Amy also takes the time to educate individual patients about their specific dental needs and concerns, helping to ease worry so patients leave feeling cared for and content. Shes been married for 21 years, with three adorable children. When shes not in the office, Amy enjoys coaching volleyball and making improvements with home remodeling projects.

Mindy came to Garland and Johnson Dental after completing the Dental Assisting program at Kaplan College. As a Patient Coordinator, she is a vital part of our team. She checks you in, verifies your insurance, and works with you one-on-one to make sure that you have the best experience possible with our dental practice. She loves the genuine care and compassion that every team member has for our patients care, and shes a big part of that process every day with every patient.

Patients need to be informed during every phase of their treatment, from beginning to end. Ellen does just that as a helpful assistant whose appreciation for providing excellent patient care is evident everyday. With schooling from Ross Medical Education, Ellen continues to challenge herself with new training within the office. Ellen assists the entire Garland and Johnson team, and also appreciates having the opportunity to develop relationships with patients old and new. In her free time, you can find Ellen having fun with her husband and pets.

Amber has been a valuable part of the Garland and Johnson team for a decade. She received professional training at the Dental Assistant Training School. Shes also certified in radiology and trained in a variety of additional treatments and services. At the office, patients will most likely find her chairside helping to provide quality, advanced dental care. Amber enjoys this important role because its beneficial in ensuring patients are comfortable and at ease throughout their entire treatment. When Amber isnt busy assisting and helping our patients, she enjoys spending time with her daughter.

Angela received valuable education and training within the United States Army and as a student at Sinclair Community College. She also has advanced, post-graduate training helping her to become certified in CAD/CAM Dental Design technology. Angela has been part of the dental industry for 25 years, and a part of the Garland and Johnson team for over 15 years. You can find her assisting the doctors with exams and educating patients about oral health to help make their beautiful smiles that last a lifetime. Angela spends her free time with her family and three dogs, hunting, fishing, and reading.

Angie has worked for the practice for nearly nine years, providing professional cleanings and helping patients maintain their healthy smiles. She attended Sinclair Community College and received postgraduate training in local anesthetic, periodontal therapy, and dental implants. Shes also accumulated many continuing education hours. Angie appreciates all aspects of her work, but truly finds great joy in caring for patients, while taking extra steps to make sure theyre fully informed about their care and what treatment options are available. When shes not busy at the office, Angie is quite active in the community as as an acting trustee for the Dayton chapter of the American Dental & Hygienists Association. She enjoys spending time with her two children and three grandchildren.

For nearly four decades, Barb has been helping patients smile with her gentle manner and genuine understanding of dentistry. She received her degree from the University of Cincinnati and is licensed in local anesthesia, CPR, nitrous oxide administration, oral cancer screening, and is experienced in so much more. Over the years and still today, she appreciates meeting patients and the relationships that develop as a result of providing personal, consistent, professional care. Outside of the office, Barb enjoys spending time with her four children, four grandchildren, and her husband Mike. Shes also a fan of family trips, paper crafts, and running.

Michelle is no stranger to dentistry, having worked alongside dental professionals for almost 30 years. She started out as a dental assistant before earning her radiographer license. Michelle is also a member of the American Association of Dental Office Managers. She works hard each day to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently at the Middletown practice, helps patients define their treatment plans, supports the team and doctors. Providing excellent patient experience is what Michelle enjoys most, to ensure each person receives the best possible treatment. Shes a proud member of the team and appreciated how much care is put into going above and beyond to help patients achieve a healthy smile. When shes not in the office, Michelle appreciates spending time with her husband, listening to music, reading, cooking, and gardening.

Holly has experienced the best of both worlds as a dental assistant and dental hygienist, helping patients find and maintain the smile theyve always dreamed of. She attended Sinclair Community College with special postgraduate training in local anesthesia administration and also has advanced training in performing periodontal treatments. Shes enjoyed working at the practice for four years, and has ten years experience in dentistry. Holly handles reactivation/recare, ordering supplies, and sterilization monitoring. Shes a big fan of her fellow coworkers and an even bigger fan of the Garland and Johnson Dental family of patients making their comfort her biggest priority. In her spare time, Holly enjoys relaxing with her husband and boating.

Linda has been working in the dental industry for nearly four decades and has been with the practice for 16 years and counting. She likes crunching numbers, and its obvious in the way she assists patients, helping them to understand insurance and financial matters. Linda is skilled at making sure everyone receives the help they need with honesty, clarity, and accuracy. Like her fellow team members, Linda puts patient needs and concerns first to provide the best possible level of care. Linda enjoys spending her spare time with her husband and son, scrapbooking, and playing cards with friends.

With nearly two decades of dentistry experience, Patti is no stranger to helping people achieve their ideal smile. Patti helps the doctors with all full service procedures andnever tires of seeing patients stand a little taller when their smile is improved and their mouths feel healthier. She admires the doctors honest, caring approach with patient care and strives to continue the same level of quality treatment. When shes not busy caring for the Garland and Johnson Dental family of patients, Patti spends time with her own large, extended family. She enjoys yoga, hiking, biking, traveling, and is very active her in church. Patti also keeps busy training with round-the-clock training of her puppy Isabel.

With almost 40 years in the dental industry, Darla has a wealth of valuable experience that she brings to the practice each and every day. She has devoted numerous hours to vocational school classes and continuing education seminars. On any given day at the practice, Darlas responsibilities range from scheduling, treatment planning, collecting and posting payments, and various front desk duties. She wanted to work at the practice due to its great reputation, outstanding commitment to patient care, professional office setting, and dedicated team of professionals. Darla likes providing life-changing treatments that make a difference in our patients lives. She enjoys spending free time with family and friends, sailing, cooking, swimming, and entertaining.

Amanda is no stranger to providing passionate patient care, having worked in dentistry for 20 years. Shes been a member of the Garland and Johnson Dental team for nearly five years, helping patients with CEREC same-day restorations, crowns, fillings, and a variety of additional assisting duties. Amanda attended Sinclair Community College and received advanced CAD/CAM Dental Design training through Planmeca University. She enjoys helping patients, teaching them all about the practice and dentistry as a whole. Amanda and her husband of 16 years enjoy spending time with their four children, being outdoors, and running.

Thanks to 25 years in the dental industry, Nancy knows what it takes to make each and every patient truly care about their smile. Shes licensed in local anesthesia administration from Sinclair Community College. Nancy loves helping patients, providing them with valuable education and understanding of how they can always work to improve their dental health. Shes passionate about the practices commitment to providing excellent treatment that lasts a lifetime. Nancy likes to spend time with her husband and two daughters when shes not busy caring for teeth. She also loves boating on Lake Cumberland and reading a good book.

Holly received her degree from Sinclair Community College with post-graduate training through Youngstown State University and Miami University. Shes worked within the dental industry since 2005 and started working full-time with the Garland and Johnson team in 2011. Holly assists with restorative, cosmetic, and surgical procedures. She also places restorative fillings and helps with IV sedation treatments. Holly is also trained in CAD/CAM Dental Design technology and proficient in providing same-day crowns. She enjoys making a difference, whether its helping patients to smile again or simply putting a person at ease during treatment. Holly and her husband are members of the Oaks Community Church and appreciate spending time outdoors with their son, hiking, swimming, and fishing.

April received her education at Wright State University, majoring in Biology, and at University of Phoenix where she majored in Business Management. Her dad is a dentist, so she grew up loving the dental industry and teeth, but preferring to stay in the worlds of numbers and people rather than becoming a dentist herself. She loves the people she works with, and loves seeing patients lives changes after theyve received a smile makeover. Youll find her handling a number of different office related tasks, from marketing and community relations to discussing treatment plans with patients, to simply answering the phone when you call.

Outside of the office, April is a volunteer at the Hospice of Dayton Foundation, and is a CPR & First Aid Instructor. She also participates in NAMI of Montgomery County and the Clark County Dental Health Initiative when shes not playing with her beagle/boxer mix, Brownie.

Jodie has been working with our practice for over 22 years, and is alwaysavailable at the West Chester office to help with anything and everything around the office. She received her education at the Institute of Medical and Dental Technology, and is also a certified ophthalmic technician. She was always interested in a career in the medical or dental fields, so after working for a pediatric ophthalmologist for a time, moving to a dental practice was a natural fit. She loves working with the patients, and she loves that everyone in the office treats the patients like family.

Christine has been working in dentistry for over 35 years and joined our practice in 1992. She received her education at the University of Cincinnati at Blue Ash, graduating as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She was encouraged to go into the dental field by a family friend who is a dentist, and she has loved working with patients ever since. She especially enjoys educating patients on how to take care of their smiles while providing quality dental care during their dental visits.

Dr. Brennan is a member of theAmerican Dental Association and continually seeks out training and professional development opportunities to remain knowledgeable about new dental practices and the latest technological advancements.
