The letters M and J are the initials of Dr. Farinas mothers and wifes first and middle name. Maria Jose was a dedicated and loving mother, a brave and hard-worker woman that instilled the values of integrity, resilience and compassion in Dr. Farinas heart, she passed away before seeing her youngest son, the first one in the family to attend college, graduating from Dental School. Marcia Josiane is his wife of twenty and some years, a woman with a heart full of gratitude and wonder, who provides Dr. Farina with daily unconditional love and support. Together, these two women, in memory and in life, put a smile on Dr. Farinas face.

Dr. Enrique FarinaDr. Farina is the sole proprietor of MJ Cosmetic Dentistry, he studied in two Dental Schools, graduating from Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM,Brazil) in 1993 and University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) in 2011, receiving the American Academy of Prosthodontics Award for Outstanding achievement in the study of prosthodontics. A member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) and Maryland State Dental Association (MSDA) with over 15 years of experience. Dr. Farina continues to attend Dental Conferences and Courses in US and abroad to offer you the upmost techniques and materials in modern Dentistry. Dr. Farina is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and English, he has a passion for Dentistry and cultures. In his spare time, Dr. Farina enjoys volunteering in his community, hiking, cooking, playing guitar and traveling with his wife and son.
A panorex is a very impressive piece of imaging machinery in that it is capable of identifying many issues and structures that a normal x-ray is not. Initially you will sit in a chair with your chin on a small ledge. Once positioned in the machine, it will rotate around your entire head taking a full 360 degree view of the teeth, head, sinuses and bones.
The ability to view the full structure of your head as a whole is very informative to the dentist. It will allow us to see any potential problems and make sure that everything is functioning as it should be. The panorex is capable of viewing specific types of structural problems, infections or asymmetry among many others.

Digital x-rays are quickly becoming adopted by a large percentage of the dental industry. A digital x-ray allows the dentist to take an image of the tooth or teeth and put it into an imaging program. Within this imaging program, there are a number of tools that will allow the dentist to take a very close look at the teeth and surrounding structures with amazing accuracy. As a benefit to the patient, the digital x-ray also provides nearly 80% less radiation than a standard x-ray. This is due to the fact that the digital version of the x-ray is much more sensitive to this radiation and has been specifically designed with the patient in mind.
The intraoral camera is an amazing diagnostic tool for viewing different angles in the mouth that we would not have been able to just a few years ago. The camera gives us the ability to view the entire mouth on a monitor so that we can get a closer look at any potential issues or problems that may arise. In addition, the patient will have the ability to see for themselves first hand the same images we are seeing. These digital images are also excellent for gaining procedure acceptance from insurance companies.

I was NOT looking forward to the terrible process of finding a new dentist, so I'm relieved to have found such a great one on my first go! Dr. Farina was really knowledgeable and patiently explained everything. His staff are also super nice, and were very concerned with my comfort. I really appreciate that they were transparent with how much and for what I should expect to pay. They also take a lot of care to minimize Covid-19 risks with things like air purifiers, hand sanitizer at crucial points (before coming into the office, after signing the receipt, etc), and keeping sanitized ink pens separated from used ones. Clean, painless, and an overall great experience!

Shambolic. Submitted multiple fraudulent cases to insurance, insurance refused to pay, passed on to patient 18 months later then terminated patient doctor relationship. They are terrible.

I made the appointment in advance and asked for the price. I was given a price for first consultation.And I mentioned to the Dr when I first saw him. On my way out the price changed and his front desk Marcia, said I was confused. I paid and left very disappointed. Spoke with a friend and the same thing happened to her. Ask for a written price, if you really wanted to go there. I gave 2 stars. The place was clean and the staff was polite, besides Marcia.

Best Dentist ever, Dr. Farina is the coolest dentist and very professional in the area, he have a very modern office with all the technology and advance tools for the best treatment with no pain or suffer, his manners are so gentle, and he have a very cool sense of humor that turns your visit to the dentist in a walking in to a family space, my son was so happy with his last cavities treatment that he wants to came back again, the ladies working with the doctor are very friendly, cool, attentive and helpful, after looking for a good dentist I'm so glad that we finally find Doctor's Farina office were they take good care of me and my family with so much love, thanks Dr. Farina and girls El mejor dentista de todos los tiempos, el Dr. Farina es el dentista y profesional mas novedoso en el area, tiene una oficina muy moderna y actualizada con toda la tecnologia y herramientas avanzadas para el mejor tratamiento dental sin dolor ni sufrimiento, sus modales son muy amables y tiene un buen sentido del humor que convierte la visita al dentista en una visita familiar, mi hijo estaba tan contento con su ultima visita para curacion de caries que desea regresar pronto, las senoritas que trabajan con el doctor son muy amables y geniales, atentas y serviciales.
