He earned his undergraduate degree at Adelphi University before moving onto the state university of New York (SUNY) at Stony Brook to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He completed his general practice residency at Booth Memorial Medical Center and then returned to SUNY at Stony Brook for his orthodontic residency.
Well known by his peers for his innovative and high tech treatment, Dr. Mizrahi stays at the top of his field through active memberships in many leading dental organizations including the Edward H. Angle Society, American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, New York State Dental Association, Northeastern Society of Orthodontists, and the Second District Dental Society.
Dr. Mizrahi is an active member of the Cleft Palate team at Staten Island University Hospital. He is also an active team participant of the Healing the Children Nieva mission. He has completed many trips to Nieva to help implement treatment plans and modalities to those patients in need. He also finds time to educate his peers through lectures on Invisalign and Distraction Osteogenesis.
Dr. Bonaiuto joined Dr. Mizrahi and his team in 2014. She believes orthodontics is the type of profession that allows one to combine art, dental medicine, engineering, and technology with patient care. She shares Dr. Mizrahis philosophy that each and every patient that walks through the door becomes a family member and sees them as such. All patients must be treated with the same respect and care.
Dr. Bonaiuto earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Fordham University graduating Summa Cum Laude with a degree in history and business. She is a proud graduate of Rutgers University where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine and where she also continued her dental training in a three-year residency earning her specialty degree in the field of Orthodontics and Dental Orthopedics. She is a board certified orthodontist with the American Board of Orthodontics. In addition, she is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Mid-Atlantic Association of Orthodontists, and New Jersey Association of Orthodontists, as well as the annual Damon study club series. She is proud to be up-to- date with the most cutting edge techniques and digital technology in orthodontics including Custom Insignia Braces, Accelerated Orthodontics, Lingual braces, Invisalign, and laser gingival treatments and exposures.
Outside the Office, Dr. Bonaiuto is a native of Brooklyn, NY, and currently resides in Hoboken, NJ. Outside of orthodontics she enjoys spending time with her husband, Arthur and their dog 'Bear.' Together they enjoy traveling, spending time with friends and family, exploring new places to eat.! She also enjoys singing karaoke and art design/drawing.
Dr. Simon Mosery is a Brooklyn native who earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Brooklyn College graduating Magna Cum Laude. He completed his DDS degree at the New York University College of Dentistry.

Claudia has been part of Mizrahi Orthodontics team since 1996 as our Office Manager. She is a native New Yorker and takes advantage of all NYC has to offer. Claudia speaks English, Spanish, and a bit of french. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach, traveling, cooking, dining out, live music events, and spending time with friends and family. If she were a superhero, her superpower would be teleporting all over the world.
Joy has been part of Mizrahi Orthodontics fantastic reception team for over 10 years. She is a Brooklyn native and a recent graduate of Brooklyn College. Joy has 5 children and 7 grandchildren. In her free time she loves spending time with her family, cooking, shopping and traveling.
David is our resident records tech, in-house IT specialist and all-around Mr. Fix it. David is a Brooklyn, NY native and has been part of our team since 2012. He is currently pursuing his nursing degree to become an RN. In his free time, David enjoys baking, beer, and traveling. Davids best quality is his helpful do anything attitude.
Iulia joined our team in 2017 as a Scheduling Coordinator. She is also a patient. She is a native of Ukraine and speaks Russian and English. She has 2 brothers and a niece and nephew living in Ukraine. She is an avid soccer player.
Nataliia joined our team as a clinical assistant. She is originally from Ukraine and speaks Ukrainian and English. Nataliia is married and has one daughter named Lisa and a cat. In her free time, Nataliia likes to travel.
Michele joined our team in 2019 as a scheduling coordinator. Michele is a Queens native and has 3 children. She is a really good cook and likes dining out, going bowling and to the movies. Micheles best quality is her willingness to help others.
Jack is a clinical assistant and has been part of the Mizrahi Orthodontics team since 2016. He is a Brooklyn native and loves playing sports and having fun. His best quality is his friendliness. He is a recent graduate of Yeshiva University and is currently pursuing a career in orthodontics and attending dental school.
Sylvia has been part of the Mizrahi Orthodontics team since 2018 as a scheduling coordinator. She is a Brooklyn native and currently attending Hunter College. Sylvia is married and likes to spend time with her husband, friends, and family. She is funny, courageous, and easygoing. She likes to cook and dance in her free time.
Faina and has been on the Mizrahi Orthodontics team since 2018 as a treatment coordinator. She is originally from St. Petersburg Russia and speaks Russian and English. She is a busy mom of 2 boys. Faina is outgoing, fun, and very funny. She likes to spend time with her family and friends and shop. If she were a superhero, she would be Wonder Woman.
Jennifer joined our team in 2019 as a Assistant Treatment Coordinator. She is a Brooklyn native and has two children and a black cat named Ace. In her free time, Jen loves to read, dance, cook, and explore caves. Her favorite book is Harry Potter. Her best quality is keeping others happy.
Nicole is one of the newest members of our clinical team, although she is not new to Orthodontics. She is a talented chairside assistant with over 20 years experience. Nicole has more hobbies than our entire team added up. she likes to crochet, cross stitch, build furniture, and is an artist. In her free time she loves cooking, learning new crafts, baking, going to concerts and the theater. Nicole, along with her boyfriend have three children.
Leor has been part of our team as an amazing chairside assistant since February 2021. He loves fishing traveling and biking. He is currently enrolled in Adelphi University and pursuing a career in dentistry. Leor is tri-lingual, he speaks English, Hebrew and Russian.
Shannon is part of our terrific reception team. She is a native of Trinidad and is the eldest of five children. She has been part of the Mizrahi Orthodontics team since March 2021. Shannon loves movies, especially horror movies. IN her free time she likes to travel and try new cuisines.
Edwin is the newest member of our reception team. He came to us in June 2021 with the goal of making our patients as happy as possible. He is married and expecting his first child. In his free time, Edwin likes working out, pop culture, marvel movies and roller coasters.
Emely is a recent graduate of DATC and joined our team as a clinical assistant. She is bilingual, speaking English and Spanish. Her favorite hobby is caring for her beautiful baby. Emelys favorite thing about working at Mizrahi Orthodontics is the great, friendly environment.
Daphnee is our Records and Sterilization coordinator. She a native of Haiti and speaks English, French and Creole. Her hobbies include volleyball, movies and going to parties. She is single and very happy.
Solangie has been part of the orthodontics world since 2015. She speaks English and Spanish. She loves photography and is dedicated to her baby and grandparents. Solangies favorite part of Mizrahi Orthodontics is The friendly patient.
Adriana is a native of Venezuela and moved to NYC for the four seasons. She is fun, funny and energetic and brings her spark to all who surround her. Adrianas hobbies are dancing and traveling and helping make beautiful smiles. Her favorite part of being part of Mizrahi Orthodontics is the teamwork and the fun atmosphere.
