I am proud to be a second-generation dentist and a Colorado native. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Biological Studies from the University of Southern California - Fight On! I graduated from the New York University College of Dentistry then completed my Residency at the University of California San Francisco. I am happy to be back in my home state near family and friends.
My main dental goals are to always do what is best for our patients and to help people keep their teeth forever. I am passionate about transforming smiles and helping patients maintain their overall health, starting with proper dental care.
Registered Dental HygienistI have been part of Miyamoto Family Dental for over 12 years. After working in my fathers dental practice in high school as an assistant and front desk coordinator, I knew that dental hygiene was the profession that I wanted to pursue. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Iowa. Go Hawkeyes!
My passions include learning about nutrition and incorporating it into my life. I thoroughly enjoy my Barre3 classes as well as HIIT workouts. Weekends are spent with family and friends sharing coffee, shopping and great conversations over a glass of wine!
Patient CoordinatorBorn and raised in Denver, Colorado, I have been married for 42 years. I have a son and a daughter and one grandson. I love living in Colorado; it allows me to camp, fish, hike all summer long with my family or snowshoe or snowmobile in the winter.
I started my career in dentistry when a friend asked me if I was interested in becoming a dental assistant. I told her yes and the rest is history. I have been in the field for over 25 years. It has allowed me many wonderful opportunities and I have met many people who have made a great impact on my life.
Office CoordinatorI graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus in Gerontology. Previously, I worked in the gerontological field, at the Department of Education, and volunteered abroad. Working with a diverse and dynamic group of people is something I always look for, so I was excited to join the Miyamoto Family Dental team. I feel very lucky to be a part of an office that is focused on quality care as well as quality relationships with patients.
Registered Dental AssistantI am originally from Branson, Missouri, but moved to Colorado in 2016 after I married my high-school sweetheart. We have a Siberian Husky named Thor, and we spend our weekends exploring the mountains with him. Colorado has allowed me to try so many new adventures, but up next on my list: skydiving over The Rockies. I dont spend all of my time trying to get an adrenaline rush though, I do enjoy a quiet weekend at home every now and then.
I am overjoyed to be the newest addition to the Miyamoto Family Dental team- learning from Dr. Kim and getting to be part of the love and support this team has for their patients, and each other, is an honor.

I have been going to this practice since way before Dr. Kim took over from her father (for over 40 years). I adored Dr. Kim's father and felt so at home. In all those years I have had only 2 hygienists, a testament to a well run office. It was a no brainer to follow Dr. Kim in this practice and to this new location. She is kind, caring and confident. The office has always accommodated my schedule and has never made a mistake in billing. Nancy, my hygienist, is friendly, familiar, supportive, and competent. I drive over half an hour to get there, and I will continue to do so for as long as I can. Call me a VERY satisfied customer!

Never thought I'd say I love my dentist, but I DO!!! I have always had a fear of the dentist, as some people do. Dr. Kim & Nancy changed all of that. I've been coming here for a year, my bf told me about them. His whole family has come here for years. Everyone here is amazing!!! Dr. Kim is amazing. She & Nancy make you feel incredibly comfortable & talk you through everything. Virginia in the front office is so kind & helpful with navigating the wacky world of insurance. All the staff there are wonderful. I, now, don't fear the dentist, I look forward to going. Even when it's not for the easy stuff.

Great experience. I've been with the practice since her father, Dr. Paul Miyamoto, took great care of my dental needs. Dr. Kim Miyamoto has modernized and taken the practice to another level. She works to make her patients feel very comfortable. Kim also worked with me closely through my dental implant procedure, and I've been very pleased with her and her relationship with my periodontist.

I was concerned about finding the right new dentist, but Dr. Kim and her whole staff have been fantastic. I love that the practice has been handed down from father to daughter. Still love this office. the new location is spectacular. they have 3D imaging that was really smooth and painless without putting your head in that big machine. Also if the payment is too much they work out a no pressure plan and my cleaning was painless. I love it.
