Dr. Mitul Patel was born in London, England and moved to New York City when he was in grade school. After graduating from St. Johns University he went on to dental school at the State University of New York at Buffalo. Following graduation in 2006, he extended his studies in a general practice residency at Nassau University Medical Center where he stayed for a second year as chief resident. After working in Long Island and Manhattan as an associate he decided to open his own practice in Scarsdale. Dr. Patel is an active member of multiple local and national dental organizations allowing him to stay up to date on cutting edge technology and new dental research.
He has traveled to Mexico and the Dominican Republic on dental missions that brought care to underprivileged areas. An experience that was as rewarding as one can imagine it to be. He continues to volunteer his help to local and international organizations when possible.
Dr. Patel is a highly accomplished and enthusiastic dentist with a strong commitment to making each visit enjoyable for his patients. He truly believes that dentistry does not have to be painful and does his best to prove it. He enjoys playing multiple sports, traveling and most of all, spending time with his wife and son.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Dr. Patel and his staff are truly professionals in every definition of the word. What I especially like of Dr. Patel is that he talks to you and explains all if the options that are available to you when you have a problem . He is a great and caring doctor and as I mentioned above, his staff is incredibly professional and also accommodating. I can't recommend him enough !

I called the front office desk and had a poor experience with the Front Desk Staff. The woman was rude and blamed me for missing my appointment without cancelling beforehand (although initially front office staff was friendly and willing to get me in the same day for tooth pain). I pointed out that she is being rude and she did not apologize. She also went on to say I would be charged for 2 no-shows without even being seen for a first visit. Not a great way to build business before even establishing patient care. I cannot comment on the skill or services provided by the Dentist here given that I will not be moving forward with this facility. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I highly recommend Dr. Patel! My son is already a patient of Dr. Patel, and has been telling me to switch providers. I was hesitant because it meant I will have to travel from Queens. But, let me tell you the trip is well worth the drive! First off, I had zero concerns about Covid during my visit, as all staff had masks on and I watched everything cleaned and sanitized throughout. The office is very clean, modern and well organized. Dr. Patel is friendly, professional and has great bedside manners (including his front desk!). He truly cares about his patients and someone I can trust. I had an extraction done and he followed up with a call the next day to make sure I was ok. My wife also came with me and had a cleaning done. She said he was gentle, patient and very thorough. We will definitely be back for our 6 months follow up!

I am a professional who constantly searches for others who are reliable, professional, credible and worthy of recommendation...and Dr. Patel meets all of these criteria. He is knowledgeable, forward thinking and takes the time to explain issues and procedures. I highly recommend this practice.

Cannot recommend Dr. Patel and his staff highly enough! Friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and funny! They are genuine and make a trip to the dentist easy!
