A pediatric dentist is the specialist who is dedicated to the oral health of children from infancy through the teenage years. Our goal at Mitten Kids Dentistry is to see every child by age 1. Here, they will learn that regular checkups rate somewhere between going to the beach and birthday parties! We teach children with a method called tell-show-do. We are honest with our young patients, instilling trust between our doctors, our experience team, and your child. This gives your child a vested interest in their own oral health, which we think is quite important. Oh, and if your child is a year and a half, 3 years, or older, no worries! Its never too late to get started. We love children of all ages.
We believe communication between doctor, staff, parents, and children is essential. Were always here to answer your questions. Ask away, anything is fair game! Whether its related to your childs growth and development, if they need braces, if they have cavities, why they get cavities, or why Dr. Brett, Dr. Grady, and Dr. Alex are the best pediatric dentists, well do our best to deliver the answers in an easy, fun, simple, and positive manner.
We pride ourselves in being able to serve any child, no matter their needs. Medically compromised? Special needs? Scared of the dentist or new places? Doesnt matter. Well work with you and your child to deliver the best care.
Well get together at least every 6 months to make sure your child is staying healthy. Oh, and dont be at all surprised if your child starts looking forward to dental check upscrazier things have happened!

Had 3 kiddos that needed extensive treatment and the Caledonia office was amazing at treatment, keeping me up to date on what needed to happen and working with the kids overall. Highly recommend this office to anyone in search of a dentist!

Our first time here and so far I can say, clean office, staff seems to be nice and very helpful. We can do all the paper work online.

This place is terrible. They did surgery on my daughter and son. And now that there is complications with my daughter's tooth. They won't do anything about it. Smdh

First visit today. I was the nervous one, my kiddo is a rockstar, and very innocent, and this practice put my mind at ease with honesty while keeping my son none the wiser that he will need some kind of dental work. He's already excited for his next visit and I'm excited to get his smile healthy as it is beautiful. We were late coming 1.5hrs away and they worked us in!! AWESOME! Ladies were nice from start to finish. The hygienist was fast, gave her honest assessment, potential treatment plans of best and worse case scenarios, and did this while answering all my questions and helping me wrangle my kiddos while never giving off one hint of annoyance. It was my son's appt, but baby sissy got a prize and stickers too! We sat facing a beautiful water fountain with geese and there were even cute books for them to read. Great experience overall. Feeling confident in my choice to get my son's care from Mitten Kids!

Fearful for my child's safety after Dr. Randall called and expressed how it was my fault for letting my son's teeth rot! My son is 6 years old and special needs. He was non verbal until he was 5 and went through extensive special education, speech therapy, occupational therapy etc. I had two root canals and crowns put on his teeth. Within a few months the crown was completely crumbling. They said in front on my son it was his fault and he would need surgery to correct. He burst into tears and apologized for causing the broken crown. I called back to schedule an appointment to take care of the infection and was literally screamed at by the dr. He said my husband was rude and he repeated himself it was my fault his teeth were decaying. I have never in my life been made to feel like a neglectful or bad parent. I was completely shocked at the unprofessional behavior and immediately pulled my children from their care. We had the teeth removed due to ongoing infection. The teeth were black and rotten under crowns. To be fair, all the other staff was great especially Dr. Brett! I understand things happen and crowns can fail BUT Dr. Randall's disrespect and unprofessional behavior was absolutely unacceptable. If you have a child with special needs I DO NOT recommend Dr. Randall!

Mitten kids was amazing! My daughter had her first appointment today (she's 2) and really enjoyed it! She has a lion stuffed animal she takes everywhere and the hygienist even did a check up on him first :) she was happy and comfortable when I thought it would be tears. Thankful for Mitten kids for making our experience a great one and will be back in 6 months!

They are so friendly and explain everything so well! My son is a little over a year old and does not like people touching his mouth. They worked so well with him and he only got a little fussy once. I look forward to taking my son there in the future.
