Dr. Thomas Wesley Mitchell attended The Ohio State University for his undergraduate degree and later received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Indiana University. He offers multi-generational, patient-centered general dentistry for the entire family. His passionate, honest, caring heart and strong clinical experience are evident through the high standards and quality care that he provides to his patients. Dr. Mitchell has a special interest in oral prosthetics, implant dentistry, and general care. His ultimate goal is for individuals to be comfortable inside the office, and to deliver the bestand most up to date dental care, in a safe, professional environment.
Being an Ohio native, Dr. Mitchell has strong roots in Findlay, Ohio and enjoys giving back to the community. One of his favorite dental opportunitiesincludes interacting with Hancock County children by voluntarily providing dental care through The American Dental Association (ADA) program, Give the Kids a Smile. He is an active member of the ADA andthe Ohio Dental Association.
Dr. Mitchells community leadership and involvement stretchesbeyond dentistry. He is committed to serving at and attending Living HopeChurch, is a member of the Hancock County Leadership Alumni Association, and is a very active and involved member of the Findlay Kiwanis Club.
Before joining our team, Dr. Phillips served as a dentist in the United States Navy at Parris Island, SC and Camp Lejeune, NC. During his time in the Navy he treated thousands of service men and women, oversaw over 15 other practicing dentists, and served on the Dental Executive Committee. His lifelong love for learning also pushed him to obtain his Master's Degree in Business Administration, and dedicate countless hours to continuing education.
Dr. Phillips has received advanced training in oral surgery, implant dentistry, endodontics, comprehensive dentistry, and CAD/CAM dentistry. He is passionate about delivering the highest quality, and most comfortable care possible to his patients herein Findlay. During his free time, Dr. Phillips enjoys outdoor activities, golf, and spending time with his wife, son, and golden retriever.
Pam is our Regional Office Manager. Shesuccessfully coordinates, leads, trains and develops the administrationteamandworks diligently to keep our offices running smoothly. Pam has been with our practicesince 2013 and came to us with decades of scheduling and managerial experience. When she's not working, Pam enjoys spending time with her family, attending sporting events, and traveling.
Maddy hadbeen coming to our practice as a patient since she was 3 years old, andjoined our team as an Administrative Assistant in 2019. During her time as an Administrative Assistant she demonstrated incredible character and great leadership skills. Now she manages our 200 Lima Avenue location. When not at work, Maddy enjoys boating, hunting, and visiting with friends. She also enjoys spending time with her family and making memories that will last a life time.
Aubri is our Insurance Coordinator and Privacy Officer. She works as a liaison between our patients,their insurance carriers, and our office. She also oversees billing for our offices.She joined our team in 2018 and comes with many years of professional experience. When not at work, Aubri can be found spending time outdoors, or enjoying quality time with her family. You may also catch her watching her son play football or baseball.
Amber was born and raised in West Virginia, and then moved to the Findlay area in 1998 with her husband, Dave. Together they have 2 children, Logan and Liberty. When not at work, Amber enjoys spending time with her family and friends, attending sporting events, shopping and traveling.
Angela joined our team in May 2021 andhas over 10 years of experience in the dental field. Her experience ranges from dentalassisting, to record keeping, to working as a lab technician, to office administration. When not at work, she enjoys cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family.

Dr Mitchell and his staff are the greatest! I have had some bad experience with other dentist in my life. Dr Mitchell is soo intelligent..kind..caring..he goes the extra mile for his patients and answers all questions.His staff knocks it out of the ball park! So kind and caring..always ready to explain and answer your questions. Kim is Fantastic!! Her warm and caring attitude is the best. She takes her time to explain. I was very nervous at first. But she knows how to make a person relax. She has a lot of knowledge and her patients come first. Angela is great! She can be busy ..but stops and answers all your questions..so very polite ..always a smile. Mandy is the exact same way so caring and polite.This staff is just 100% Amazing!They all work together and very professional. I will not go to any other place. Dr Mitchell cannot be beat!! He is also funny!! What a team he has!! They all are the Greatest!!!

I have had cleanings, wisdom teeth removal and crown procedure done. Him & his staff treat you amazing & they go above and beyond. You really feel comfortable and know you're in good hands under their care. Would recommend everyone!

Mitchell & Phillips Dental Care exemplifies customer service! Dr. Phillips and his assistant, Kambrey, were attentive, gave me options, and supported my decisions. It was clear everyone in the office enjoyed working there. Dr. Phillips treated his staff with respect and praised them repeatedly. This team has it figured out & it shows!

I've been a patient of Dr. Mitchell for years and never thought anyone could come even close to being as wonderful a person or dentist...and then Dr. Phillips came along and he is equally amazing! My hygienist, Andrea, is awesome! The entire staff is so nice and accommodating. You really won't find a better dental office anywhere else!

I originally went to Dr. Mitchell for a second opinion as he was recommended to me. He quickly assessed and fixed the problem and the rest is history. I've been going there for a few years now and it is always the most friendly and welcoming environment! Dr. Mitchell, Lisa, and the whole staff really care about their patients. I highly recommend making an appointment and seeing for yourself!

Dentists aren't the most popular people, BUT the staff and Dr. Phillips at the Hardin Street office, Findlay, OH, make every visit a pleasant experience if you are looking for a dentist, I would highly recommended Dr. Phillips and his staff(especially Andrea) for all of your dental needs!

I've been going to Dr. Mitchell for over 25 years and ALL of my experiences have been excellent. Dr. M. Takes time to explain what needs to be done; always prefacing with "...if it were me..." He's always patiently answered my questions, has a great sense of humor and a wonderful first name . I've primarily seen Tonya for my biannual check ups and she would always take the utmost care with making this procedure pain free. Jodi has recently taken over Tonya's "regulars" and her technique is also efficient and painless. Skylar has assisted Dr. Mitchell when more extensive work is needed and her fast, efficient and pleasant approach is great. The ladies at the front desk always greet me immediately and kindly upon my entering the office and they are always able to answer my insurance and billing questions quickly and sensibly. What a TERRIFIC TEAM, Dr. Mitchell! JOB WELL DONE!

Dr. Phillips and his staff go above and beyond for their patients! I urgently needed dental care and was made an appointment the same day, as a new patient! Raelynn, my hygienist, was super friendly and made me feel at ease with my procedure! I would recommend this office to anybody looking for a caring, energetic, and friendly atmosphere!
