Upon completing undergraduate studies at Mississippi State University, Dr. David Mitchell attended the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry. He received his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry in 1992. Since that time, Dr. Mitchell has made a study of how to operate a successful dental practice. He has taken numerous continuing education hours both on the clinical and business side of dentistry. Dr. Mitchell has worked with practice management coaches, sports psychologists, equipment designers and ergonomic process specialists to learn how to run an excellent business.
Dr. David Mitchell lives in Brandon, Mississippi with his wife, Carmen and four children, Colby, Dalton, Cade and Chesney. In addition to lots of family time and traveling, his hobbies include snow skiing, running, and biking.
Dr. Heather Vanpelt finished both high school and college in Columbus, MS. She is a graduate of University of Mississippi School of Dentistry and has completed a residency in Advanced General Dentistry. She enjoys helping both adults and children keep their smiles healthy and beautiful. When she isnt treating patients, she can usually be found in her garden or at the movies!
Dr. Chris Carlton was born and raised in Jackson, MS. After receiving his degree in Business Management at the University of Mississippi, Dr. Carlton attended the University of Mississippi Dentistry. He received his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry in 2011 and the following year attended the Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at the University.
Dr. Carlton and his wife, Lyndsey, live in Jackson, Mississippi with their three children Hales, Lyle, and Lilla. Dr. Carlton and his family are active members of St. Richard Catholic Church. When not working, he enjoys playing tennis, exercising, and fishing.
Dr. Kara Alford attended University of Mississippi School of Dentistry after several wonderful years as a MSU Bulldog. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1997 and has been a private practice dentist all the years following her graduation. Dr. Alford is very passionate about dentistry and loves helping her patients achieve a healthy and beautiful smile.
Dr. Kara Alford lives in Flowood, MS with her daughter, Charlsey, who is currently attending MSU. Her focus is always time with her family and friends and engaging in a wide variety of fun activities.
Dr. Braden McInteer is a native of New Orleans, LA. He attended the University of Mississippi where he earned a B.A. degree in biology and graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors. While there, Dr. McInteer was also awarded membership into the Phi Kappa Phi honor society. He received a Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry in 2003. As a part of his continuing education, Dr. McInteer regularly attends seminars and courses in order to stay up to date on the latest techniques.
Dr. Shellie Breland grew up in Rankin County and graduated high school from East Rankin Academy. She attended Mississippi College where she majored in an American Chemical Society-certified degree. Dr. Breland then went on to graduate from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 1999.
Dr. Mary Catherine Reynolds grew up in Purvis, Mississippi and graduated high school from Presbyterian Christian High School as Salutatorian. For her bachelors she attended Mississippi College where she majored in Biology Medical Science and graduated in 2015 in Summa Cum Laude. She was then accepted into the Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry where she graduated number 1 in her class in 2015.
Dr. Reynolds has been married to her husband Shannon since September of 2020. Together they are building a barn dominium in Ridgeland with 3 dogs and 5 chickens! In her spare time, she likes to hunt, travel the mountains, fly fish, spend time with her family, read, and spend time in her garden bed!

Dr. Margaret Parker grew up in Tupelo, Mississippi and graduated high school from Saltillo High School. She then attended Mississippi State University where she majored in Chemistry. Dr. Parker received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry in 2019.
