Dr. Mitchell was born and raised in East Point, and hes been serving dental patients in the same area for 30+ years. He graduated from Greater Atlanta Christian School in 1975 before attending Harding College (graduating in 1978). He then earned his doctorate from Emory University School of Dentistry in 1983. Today, he is an Auxiliary Staff Member at Atlanta Medical Center Well Star South Campus, as well as a proud graduate of the Dawson Academy and member of the AGD and GACD. His favorite part of the job is meeting new patients/friends every day and being able to educate them about what dentistry has to offer! He LOVES dentistry, and enjoys coming to work each day to share his practice with such a wonderful team that make it all possible.
Dr. Mitchell and his wife Brenda have three adult children, and are enjoying those empty nest years! They also have two grandchildren, with another one on the way. Some of Dr. Mitchells interests include physical fitness and kayaking. He is also a Deacon at the Fayetteville Church of Christ and a songleader as well. Truthfully, he is a collector of hobbies but a master of none. He is the MacGyver of his family, and creative problem solving is his forte. He enjoys going on medical missionary trips, flying planes (with or without engines), baking, and cooking. One of he and his wifes favorite pastimes is Find Dining where they explore the ever-changing restaurant scene in Atlanta! He also loves solving Blackbelt Sudoku puzzles and teaching himself to play the ukulele. Also, he is a bowtie collector, wearing them way before they became cool.
Kelley has been an essential member of our office for 27+ years, and she loves the awesome team she works with every day. The joy she feels by helping others and bringing smiles to their faces is an amazing feeling! She is certified in X-rays and CPR.
Kelley has a daughter Savannah and a son-in-law Parker. When she isnt busy at the office, she enjoys working out, reading, being involved in the church, and spending time with family. Monkeys are her favorite animal!
Elizabeth has been working in dentistry for an impressive 33+ years, and she first became a vital member of our team 31 years ago. She earned her dental hygiene licensure from Clayton Junior College, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Biology from Georgia State University. She is CPR certified and has undergone advanced training in periodontal therapy for treatment of gum disease and gingivitis. What she enjoys most about her work is loving on the patients and spoiling them silly!
Elizabeth has resided in Fayetteville for 33 years, and she and her husband Richard have three special furbabies (cats) named Sabrina, Taz, and Dottie. When she has free time, she enjoys tent camping, antiquing, and traveling to North Carolina, where she and her husband plan to retire one day. In the past, she met 70s heartthrob Bobby Sherman and even had her picture taken with him!
