My mission as an orthodontist is to make sure that my staff and I provide necessary treatment to the local community. This means that not everyone who comes in is a candidate for orthodontic treatment. It is truly about making a lifetime difference in someones self-esteem, health, and smile.
One of the most special parts of my job is the relationships that Ive made throughout the years. I encounter parents who came to me years ago for their own orthodontic treatment, who always have good memories of the jokes we tell or the kids arcade or a particular fond memory of their orthodontic assistant. I guess its a Louisiana thing, but these people are not just my patientsthey are lifetime friends.
I completed my undergraduate studies at Southeastern University and received my Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Louisiana State University. I also earned a Certificate in Orthodontics from the Louisiana State University in New Orleans. While at LSU, I received many awards and honors and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Honor Society of Dentistry.
As an example, we use the latest technology in digital imaging and digital X-ray equipment. Techniques and technology are changing faster and faster, and Im committed to making sure my patients receive the best treatment possible.

Dr. Misuraca is a registered specialist of the American Association of Orthodontists and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. This means that Misuraca Orthodontics will create a custom plan for each patient that will improve not only a smile but will improve the function such as biting, chewing, and speaking and improve self- esteem.
Where else can you get a great smile and have a great time? We have several video game stations at each location to ensure that your child will enjoy every visit to our office. Grownups love the video games, too!
We take the guesswork out of your childs care. Moms and dads are always welcome to join their children in the treatment areas to observe treatments. This provides an excellent opportunity to have good communication regarding treatment progress and appliance compliance.

Having four locations in the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Area is truly special. While many offices have multiple locations, what makes us unique is that our entire staff moves to each location. We know that you like to see familiar faces, so no matter what location you visit, the same front desk staff, the same assistants, and the same orthodontist, Dr. Misuraca, are there to make sure top-notch quality care is given.

Brooklyn and all of the other staff are great! Brooklyn is very considerate, as this can be painful sometimes, and friendly/personable. I will not miss the braces but I will miss seeing Brooklyn and everyone else. Thank you to all of you!!! You did an excellent job!!

Quality over quantity is my standard. Affordable? Yes. Thorough follow up care? Yes. Flexibility? Yes. Multiple locations? Yes. I am scheduled to have my braces removed in 6 weeks. My smile is worth a million bucks. I have so many compliments from family. Misuraca has really added value to my smile and teeth. The customer service or patient care is amazing. I specifically want to give. A shout out to Brooklyn & Mia specifically for her professionalism and patience. She was very caring and has great bedside manners. In the home stretch of my braces journey and I can not be more pleased with Dr. Misuraca and his team. Dr. Laird is indeed a pleasure everytime I go in, and today Carlynn was awesome, so personable and detailed with the readjustment of some of my brackets. So far my experience has been amazing!

I got my braces on and removed ~10 years ago, and I've only ever been back twice since then for retainer problems. Staff is friendly and helpful. Hannah and Carlynn helped me today.

I had my brace on for two years every visit the staff was amazing and so helpful. When I got my braces take off Mia took great care of me. Explained everything to me and made me feel so comfortable.
