Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.

An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.

Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

I have a lot of dental anxiety and everyone was so kind and understanding. I had a root canal done and the specialist was so gentle and everyone explained to me what was happening before they did it. If I made just a slight noise they stopped everything and made sure I was okay. I have had terrible experiences with dental providers but I feel comfortable getting my dental health back to where it should be with Missouri Flat Dental. Absolutely the best.

The office staff are all very helpful and kind, both front and back office. They were excellent when I kept calling to see if my dental work was in. I was on a tight timeframe as I was leaving town and needed the work done before I left. They were helpful and courteous every time I called. Dr. Stout went above and beyond to have my work done in time, including trying a new protocol and combining steps. Even though the lab messed up on one part, causing a week delay, the work was still done in time for my leaving. I was just ecstatic! Plus beautiful custom work above what was discussed was done. Super surprised. Just excellent service from every aspect! And, they play awesome music in the office. :) Thanks all!

Not professional. Gives you appt. Then you show up and they never actually scheduled it. Then uses the excuse of my mother inlaw canceling several times and why it's okay to miss schedule her. She suffers from chronic pain and never knows when it will be a bad day. They order the wrong cap and allowed me to sit there for 3 hrs before finding out it was wrong tooth. Jessica contreras was very unprofessional, inappropriate, and should not have a job in customer service. UPDATE TO COMPLAINT On June 9 or 19 2020 Missouri flat dental had put a crown on my front left tooth. A tooth they ordered the wrong crown for in the first place and left me sitting in dental office for 4 hours before realizing they couldn't do anything. against my better judgement I let them correct their mistake. On August 19, 2022 while brushing my teeth this same crown fell off. Monday morning I called Missouri Flat dental several times and was told they got a new system and did not have my dental records to look up what I was talking about and several calls with the same response I was told they had customer to take care of. So I ended up having to go to a new dental office and pay out of pocket 1700.00 dollars because the dentist did not file the tooth correctly and left a gap between the tooth and the crown. So over a month later I walked into Missouri flat dental only to be told they did not have my records again. and that they would file a correction email and call me. No call no email nothing. I call them to get the run around again.

Had to go in to get a crown done. The staff from the front of the office to the back was more than any patient could hope for. Starting with Jess and Rosie up front greeting me and making me feel welcome, then the other staff, that weren't even the ones treating me (Tiffany and Tori) saying "hi, how's your day going" made me feel way more at ease. Dr. Stout has hired a staff that is top notch and goes above and beyond. The RDA Ashley took my X-rays and was super quick and painless in doing so. Dr. Makadia was quick, efficient and super friendly. I was in and out fast and their staff actually made going to the dentist a great experience. I had my X-rays and crown done all on my lunch break!

I .am well satisfied with the dental work I have received at Missouri Flat Dental Group. I am not an easy patient to work on because of a small mouth, and most of the work done has been on back teeth..Dr Stout is a careful worker. Appointments can take a long time. Everyone has been very patient and cheerful. I picked this dentist based on proximity and that they take AARP Delta Insurance and not based on a recommendation or other research on the web. I have no idea if what I have paid for work done since 2020 is reasonable or not,

After a decade of struggling with my teeth and being traumatized by preventative dental or what ever it's called over by McDonald's.... I called Missouri flat dental ... scared out of my mind and not knowing what to expect Dr. Stout was patient and understanding of my trauma.. He took his time.. did not shame me.. made me comfortable . His staff is amazing. When treatment day came I was a wreck.. They made sure I was comfortable and did an excellent job. So greatful to have found a dentist who is not abusive and judgemental. Look forward to continuing care with this team . I don't understand all the bad reviews .. every experience I've had with this office and staff has been great .. from check in to check out..

Very professional and friendly staff. The dentist and hygienist explained my services and treatment well and I understood my bill. I was pleased that my treatment allowed me to have more confidence in my smile.

Not very professional. Appointments are too far into the future. Diagnosis seems to change with each appointment; won't complete services agreed upon at past appointments. They were okay before the practice was sold but this new provider isn't good. Don't waste your time with this office.

Horrific experience. My first encounter with the office was when they put me in the back room with everyone's lunch bags, oxygen tanks laying on the ground and trash everywhere. I was confused. I sat through two hours of waiting (which I was told in all would only take an hour and half for entire process, I needed to know because I had a new baby) while overhearing multiple employees complaining and gossiping to each other at a very unprofessional level. Then I was moved to another room. Where the oral surgeon began an extraction on my tooth. I noticed the room was very dirty and people seemed to be out of sorts. My tooth was extracted and the light which was over my head while I was laying back in the seat had gone out. So instead of removing me from the area the surgeon stood up with his pelvis (yeah that) near my face and began changing the light bulb over my open, just yanked out tooth, vulnerable mouth! All of the dust came falling into my mouth and face. My mouth was still being held open by the device so I couldn't speak. It was horrific. After this inappropriate behavior and all they had put me through they called me months later asking for more money. Apparently their accounting person made a mistake on my bill. I declined that invitation to accept any more of a bill to add on to the thousands we had already paid for a root canal. 10 months ago I discovered my tooth was severely infected. Almost positive it was the tooth they performed a root canal on. I have had two root canals in my life. They are so horrible. Long story short through this process I have not found 1 Dentist who is genuinely interested in helping me the right way. I called back Missouri Flat Dental to find out which tooth they had performed on and they said yes, that is the tooth we worked on. After communicating with them one day on the phone they decided it wasn't the tooth. And they documented in their system that it was a different tooth. Further more after months of the manager convincing me to come back so "They can make it right" they still never called me back or showed any interest in helping me make a plan to extract this infected root canal. Which I still have. The manager convinced me they had new staff and wanted to help. After calling again I was made aware my appointment would not be for another 3 months. Today I called to confirm my appointment to which I was told is now not available due to their oral surgeon being replaced. So I would then have to wait another month to coordinate an appointment. What?!!!!!!!I had already waited several months! I have a job, a family and I have already made many arrangements on my end to just get this painful infection fixed. And here I am. Still... waiting. I am furious, beyond disappointed and sickened by how Missouri Flat Dental has treated me in my past experiences and still to this day by their disgusting lack of empathy, professionalism and integrity. Don't waist your time and money. Go somewhere else.

I went in over a year ago to have a tooth worked on, I paid what my insurance didn't cover in full. One year later I get a $235.00 bill with no notice, I call and was told that my insurance didn't cover that portion even though I have confirmed that I had coverage and the bill was at $0. Do not trust this Dentist office.

I went in yesterday for a cleaning and exam. I was instructed I needed a 'special' cleaning and that it would cost $68.00. I informed them that I did not need such cleaning and that I just wanted the regular one that is free every year. Then I was told that I would need to speak to the dentist first. I instructed them that there was no need to see the dentist first because I only wanted the free cleaning. They stated that I would not be able to have the free one. I feel this is some sort of scam and/or upgrade and they are taking advantage of people. They didn't just want the insurance money, they wanted my money too. I have found another dentist that is working for me not against me, who isn't trying to sell me an unnecessary service.

I cannont speak highly enough of this team!! My Son needed a great deal of work done on his teeth and gums. The cost was estimated at about $10k to 15K. They started with fillings. Next appointment was for 6 teeth to be removed. The next appointment was for 4 crowns. Everyone in this office is amazing. Everytime they called for payment at each visit the cost ended up less then origianlly quoted. They knew I was on a budget and worked with me to get what was needed for my son. I will be forever grate full to the the dentist here and Haley and Angela who walked me through it all. I would reccommend them to anyone looking for a practice that has a heart and really cares about their patients!! 5 BIG STARS!!!!

I had an overall very enjoyable experience except for the fact my teeth were getting drilled on. The receptionist and dental assistants were very nice and helpful. I was able to schedule an emergency appointment very quickly. I was surprised that they were able to take care of my issues immediately within my first appointment. Michael was a great dentist and down to earth person. I was really impressed with the fact that they could do a crown within the same appointment instead of waiting weeks for another appointment. Billing and prices were explained very clearly to me and I got what I paid for.

I don't know how the experience in the actual office is, seeing as I've never been here. However, I called looking for help with medical and what not, and while they didn't accept it, Angela went ABOVE and BEYOND with helping me, despite me not being a patient. Hope you get her when you call

Office staff that make treatment decisions, referrals that don't follow insurance policies, the (current) dentist doesn't listen to patients, treatment decisions are geared to making money not patient need. Avoid this practice if at all possible.

This place is a total Joke. Professionalism is out of control. The women that work here don't know how to speak to people. If you like spending thousands of dollars and finding out months later that you need to spend another couple thousand so they can fix the mistakes they made.. then this is the place for you. BUT keep in mind they will reschedule your appointment not once.. not twice but probably 3 or 4 times before you can return. They are constantly short staffed and don't care about anything but what credit card your swiping.
