April Stringer is Dr. Stewarts chairside assistant and her friendly spirit and bright smile will allay any fears you may have during your visit. Her goal is to make you comfortable during your visit. April is very competent and she can answer any questions you may have. She is CPR certified and holds a current radiology permit. April and her husband, Gary, reside in Raymond with their three children, Sydney, Maddy, and Hardy. April has been with the practice since 2002.

Dr. Paula Stewart is a native of Raymond, Mississippi. She received a certificate of dental hygiene in 1981 from University of Mississippi School of Health Related professions. after practicing for fourteen years and three children later , she returned to UMMC School of Dentistry where she became a 1995 Cum Laude graduate and for seventeen years practiced dentistry as the sole practitioner. In June 2012, she relocated her practice from Clinton, MS to the more centrally located beautiful Highland Village of Jackson, MS. There she brought on two dental associates her son, Dr. Stewart Strange and Dr. Anna McVey to her new clinic Paula Stewart DMD & Associates Family Dental Center. The new clinic was recognized by 'The Best of Jackson' as Best Dentist 2013 and 2014 .

Dr. Stewart has always been active in local , state and National dental organizations the community and the Church. She served as the 139th Mississippi Dental Association President (2014-2015). She has served and continues to serve on numerous Boards. During her spare time she enjoys traveling with family and friends, snow skiing, hiking, the outdoors in general and music of all genres. She is the mother of three children: Dr. Stewart Strange, her dental associate , Adelaide a Community Account Manager at Logo Nation and licensed insurance sales representative with State Farm Insurance and Roger a Facility Director with the WWII Museum in New Orleans , LA. She is affectionately known as 'Pippa' to her two grandchildren Waverly and Dempsey.

Dr. C. Stewart Strange was born in Raymond, MS. With mom, dad, and uncle all being dentists there was little doubt what he wanted to be when he grew up. Dr. Strange graduated with honors from the University of Mississippi in 2008 with a B.S. in Biology cum laude. He then attended the University of Mississippi, School of Dentistry and obtained his D.M.D. in 2012. While in dental school, Dr. Strange received Hiram A. Gatewood, Sr. Memorial Award and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Dental Student Award for outstanding achievements and performance in undergraduate Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Since graduating dental school in 2012, Dr. Strange has practiced and maintains a private practice in Jackson, MS with his mother Dr. Paula Stewart. He completed advanced surgical implant training with the Hands on Institute and was awarded a fellowship in the International College of Oral Implantology. Dr. Strange is a member of Spear Education and has completed multiple continuing education courses through Spear. He is active member of the American Dental Association and the Mississippi Dental Association. Dr. Strange currently serves on the political action committee board for the MDA.

Dr. Strange is married to Cassi, his high school sweetheart and a Brandon native. They have two children Waverly and Dempsey. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, and playing golf. He and his wife are active members of First Presbyterian Church in Jackson.

Born and raised in Jackson, Dr. Anna McVey graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry in May 2012 and joined Mississippi Dental Center immediately thereafter. A recipient of the award for High Achievement for Persons with Disabilities, Dr. McVey possesses tremendous compassion. Her gentle spirit is evident daily as she engages all range of patients- from toddlers to geriatrics. She believes in providing highly personalized care to achieve the utmost standards of oral health, hygiene, and aesthetics.

She is a graduate of Jackson Preparatory School in 2003, and the University of Mississippi in 2007. For one year prior to dental school, she coached Cross Country and Track & Field at Jackson Preparatory School. Dr. McVey is the daughter of Drs. John and Emily McVey. Her father is the managing partner of Jackson Eye Associates. Her mother is an assistant professor at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She is married to Micah Usry who is employed by Sunbelt Forest Products. They welcomed precious Taylor Jane in June of 2014 and Oliver Chase in May of 2017. They currently reside in Jackson and attend First Presbyterian Church of Jackson.
