Dr. Azadeh Tavari is a highly trained Periodontist and implant specialist. She focuses on patient-centered care, customizing treatment to each patient to provide the most comfortable, esthetic and minimally invasive techniques to achieve each patients dental health goals. She emphasizes a team approach to a patients comprehensive dental treatment to successfully address a patients individualized goals.
Dr. Tavari was born and raised in Los Angeles. She received her Bachelors degree in Neuroscience with a minor in Craniofacial and Dental Technology from the University of Southern California. She then went on to attend the University of Southern Californias Ostrow School of Dentistry for her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree (D. D. S.), graduating with honors. Dr. Tavari then further pursued her passion for dentistry and continued at USC to complete a specialty residency program in Advanced Periodontology. She also earned a Masters in Craniofacial Biology (M.S.) during her residency career.
While pursuing her dental education, Dr. Tavari also actively conducted and published research in collaboration with Dr. Homa Zadeh, in the fields bone regeneration and implant dentistry. She is an active member of many professional periodontal and dental associations, and received the 2017 Robert Merlin Student Leadership Award from the California Society of Periodontists.

I love this place so much! the dental assistant that helps with my teeth is named Hazi. She is so nice and truly cares for the people she cares for and is very gentle. Dr Z is perfect.

I went in for my first appointment and everyone was very friendly, and it seemed like everyone was very happy working there. Dr z was extremely nice and friendly, she seemed genuine about the health of my teeth. Everyone I met was king and friendly. The assistants was very kind and knowledgeable she answered all my questions. I live in NorCal I visit family in OC often I would fly for any major dental work to Mission Viejo at any time.

I had big fillings on my 4 front teeth which they discolored and chipped and I always was shy to smile till I found Dr Zirakzadeh. She made me 4 beautiful and natural crowns. I found Mission Viejo Family Dentistry off my provider directory and I couldn't be happier to have gone there. The front office was pleasant and Milly, one of the RDA's in the back was amazing. She was very sweet and made me feel very comfortable. She possesses superb customer service skills. She was thorough and attentive and made me feel very well taken care of. She paid close attention to detail, which as a professional is a must if you want to have happy patients returning. I highly recommend this place; please ask for Milly because she's exceptional!!

AMAZING!! The staff was friendly and professional!!! I personally have never liked going to the dentist because I have always had a lot of pain. After going to Mission Viejo Family Denstistry it has become clear that I just had the wrong dentist!!! I felt no pain whatsoever during my cleaning and filling!! Been coming here and referring family and friends here for over a year now and I have been more than happy with my results and treatments.
