A resident of Laguna Niguel since 1987, he has practiced in South Orange County and San Diego County for over 32 years. Most notably, he worked on the Southern California Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base from 2002 to 2007 caring for the families of our brave soldiers. He enjoys doing all phases of dentistry, and has performed many full mouth reconstructions and cosmetic makeovers. Whatever your dental needs are, Dr. Edwards can help you.
Dr. Edwards is also an author and inventor, with three published books and a toothbrush patent awarded in 2008. He is also a co-inventor of an intra-oral Xylitol delivery product currently on the market for the relief of dry mouth symptoms and prevention of dental decay. Currently he is developing a new type of intra-oral dental probiotic wafer/strip for use overnight to fight decay and gum disease while you sleep, and and awaken with fresh breath.

I was looking for a new dentist local to me so I decided to try Mission Viejo Dental Associates. I was very happy from start to finish. The staff was awesome, from the great conversation to actually doing the work needed (and wow do my teeth feel and look clean), I couldn't have asked for a better dentist experience. They even stayed past closing a bit to make sure I was taken care of. Genuinely caring people here, highly recommend!

This place is amazing. All stuff members are wonderful and Very helpful. I just have a deep cleaning done today by Lisa and I want to tell her thank you . The best deep cleaning I have ever have in USA. She is not only very nice she is very gentle and did a very good job! I am so happy I find this place. I recommend this dentist office to everyone.

I have been going to Mission Viejo Dental Associates for many years, if you are looking for a family dentist look no further than Dr. Tran and her team here. In all the years (16 to be precise) my family and I have been going, we have all had terrific dental care with top notch results. Dr. Tran is just delightful, professional, caring, friendly, personable, with a fantastic sense of humor and someone you can really trust for evaluating and correcting your condition right off the bat. Dr. Tran's support team from her Assistants Dorina, April & Sue who equally have the most welcoming and happy dispositions, to the Front Office crew you just feel like you are around so many people who really care about you. I believe when looking for a Family Dentist, it is important to find an establishment that is friendly, warm and inviting, and above all honest and sincere. I couldn't be happier with MV Dental Associates and the care my family has received and very happy to give this review!!

I'm normally not one to write a review, but I am compelled to now. I've been going to Mission Viejo Dental Associates for 16 years now. Even though I see the staff only twice a year, I feel like they are my friends. Dr. Tran is so personable yet completely professional and knowledgeable. She always asks about my family because she cares about my dental health as well as my general well being. Sarah makes it a joy to go in for my cleaning, and Sue makes it quick & easy to make my next appt. I couldn't recommend them highly enough. Thanks y'all! See ya soon!

Amazing staff!! Welcoming where I didn't feel the nerves or scared to have my teeth checked. Office was clean and organized.
