Dr. Jean-Baptiste is currently an active member of the American Dental Association and National Dental Association. She is committed to continuing education in order to remain knowledgeable with state-of-the-art technology, procedures, and materials in dentistry.
When she isnt caring for her patients, Dr. Jean-Baptiste loves spending quality time with her husband and sweet baby boy. Being a Virginia Beach native, she loves walks on the beach with her family including her two Labradors, Melody and Theo. Most recently, she has started pursing a new passion for the culinary arts.

Always able to fit me in their schedule as I'm having "dental renovations". Always friendly and never ever rude. Best customer service of any dentist I've been to. Dr. Steyn is fantastic! Highly recommended!

I really love to go now and alway this place to do my refills. I had 8 years bad experience with other dentist places and Mission Lakes dental care is the best, I thank them taking care of my teeth and all my cavities that I had. I love when they schedule me after work they really help me out and plus all of them are so nice and generous and caring staffs. I finally found a great place to go and especially Dr. Stein she does a great job and fillings were painless and her work is impeccable. I do recommend Mission Lakes Dental to y'all.

Our previous dentist was changing insurance providers and were no longer going to be in network with our dental insurance so I called a couple places and we had an amazing experience with Mission Lakes. Every interaction was amazing for both my daughters! The front office staff, office manager, both hygienists, and the Doctor were all phenomenal. I can't say enough nice things about this office but I am so glad our dental care will be with them :)

Love this office! Everyone is exceptionally friendly & knowledgeable. My hygienist, Daniel, always makes sure I'm comfortable during the cleaning. Dr. Steyn is also amazing - my fillings were painless and her work is impeccable! Finally, Kelsey, was also very helpful in resolving an issue with my insurance. Highly recommend this team!

This was my 1st appointment with Mission Lakes DC since moving to FL. Pre-visit phone calls and admission process were clearly and efficiently handled. My hygienist/dental assistant, Fabio, couldn't have been more courteous, informative and responsive. And when it became obvious that I would need more than just a cleaning, everyone shifted into the new situation seamlessly and gracefully, including xrays, treatment planning, insurance research and scheduling. I met briefly with Dr. J and she seems very professional and personable. Looking forward to my next 2 appointments and a long, successful relationship with MLDC.
