Dr. Michael R. Ricupito, a native Californian, was raised in the Fremont. He attended San Jose State University where he played both football and baseball and graduated with a Bachelors of Arts (B.A.) degree with distinction. He then attended the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco and received his doctorate (D.D.S.) with Honors in 1983. Dr. Ricupito taught at UOP School of Dentistry and practiced general dentistry in the Bay Area before he decided to specialize in orthodontics. He received his graduate training from UCLA School of Dentistry where he earned a master's degree (M.S.) in oral biology an ADA accredited Certificate of Specialty in Orthodontics.
Dr. Ricupito is Board Certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, California Association of Orthodontists, the Southern Alameda County Dental Society, the Craniomandibular Institute and the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics.

Best orthodontist! I came to Dr. Ricupito first when I was a teenage for braces and then again as an adult for invisalign and it was like no time had past. He is genuinely the nicest person. The office staff is also organized and professional, they all do a great job!

I first got my braces in high school and they were off in less than 2 years. And I went back 8 years later to get my retainer and the staff still knew me. The staff is friendly and they are all very reasonable about different questions and problems you would have. 10 out of 10!

Best orthodontist in the Bay Area! I can not say enough amazing things about Dr. Ricupito; I was a patient of his, and now my kids are. He's very knowledgeable, personable, and engaging with you and your family. He gets to know you and will ask how the kids are doing in their sports. The entire staff is warm, welcoming, and kind. Appointments are quick, too. My kids love having meetings with Dr. Ricupito! My teeth are still amazing all these years later. Love knowing that my littles are in the best hands.
