An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.
Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is an advanced, proven technology that provides more precise three-dimensional (3D) imaging for more accurate diagnosis and treatment of oral health conditions. 3D dental X-rays can uncover issues that may not be detectable with 2D X-rays. By making images easier to see, its helpful in gaining a better understanding of oral health conditions and suggested treatment.

The staff are very warm and friendly. If you have any questions they will answer them to the best of their knowledge. They also have discounts on certain service. They care about your overall dental health. All x-rays are up to date with new modern equipment.

I'm very pleased with this dental office!! The dentist, oral surgeon and the entire staff are very professional, do good work and are nice!! I had upper dentures done, which involved extracting quite a few teeth. I was told all the options I had with my teeth. There was no pressure for any of my options. I could have saved my teeth and had a partial denture. I have had years of problems with my teeth. I had already been missing a few back teeth and needed another one extracted. I decided at my age, the best thing for me, is just do the dentures. I'm so glad I did!! The dentures look and feel good!! Thank you to the entire Mission Hills Dentistry staff!! I highly recommend this dental office!!

To anyone looking for wisdom teeth extraction surgery... I got all 4 wisdom removed here on 12/18/2021. Background: I have never gone through a surgery and was soooo scared. What happened: I was taken care of by one of the most professional and caring surgeons/team of assistants/operation managers/ etc. Dr. Koury truly made me feel like I was in good hands not only because of his professional manner but because of his staff and very clean office. Local anesthesia went VERY smooth. I woke up easily and feeling like i just blinked my eyes (Also the needle does not hurt at all, its so tiny). The healing process: Dr. Koury is a PRO. On the 3rd day, it looks like I never had my wisdom teeth in the extraction site in the first place. I did not take ANY narcos or heavy pain kills and felt greatttttt. I did take some Ibuprophen at night and did constantly ice my face and clean the extraction site ;which is what ultimately helped this seamless and professional surgery heal quicker than I thought and what most people exaggerate about on the internet!!

I am really happy with how everything turned out with my root canal. It was easier than expected. Everybody including staff were very helpful and professional. Gerardo was very good at scheduling my appointments around my busy schedule. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a dental clinic.

I was always nervous going to the dentist. However the entire staff has always made me feel comfortable from the front office crew to the doctor and dental hygienist. My experience has been amazing compared to other places. It is so easy to get appointments and there is hardly any wait time from checking in to being seen. I don't feel judged any time I go in for my check ups if anything I finally feeling confident in my smile after each visit.

All I have to say is trying this office out was the best decision I made. Not an easy one, since I had been going to the same dental office for 20plus years. But the entire staff at Mission Hills Modern Dentistry made the transition an easy one. The front desk staff Gera & Emely are so friendly and welcoming . Both are great getting back to me via phone or email with all the multitude of questions I have LOL. Evelyn is the best she makes you feel like you have known her forever and is always very informative and always laughing with me making my visits easier to cope with, because I am always so nervous . No one likes getting their routine cleaning every six months. But never fear with Zuhal RDH the dental hygienist she is awesome making my cleanings easier to handle. But the best of them all is Tommy Sediq DDS not only is he like "super young looking." Great bedside mannerisms always concern if I am not comfortable or its starting to be too much for me to handle. He will stop and give me few minutes before he continues always taking his time I don't ever feel rushed. Highly recommend this dental office all around great staff from beginning to end. ( And I come all the way from the AV area )

I sent this email to the office and no response. (05/28/2021) They're only there for you money. Last year the deep dental cleaning was estimated at $300 and now it's $400. I understand it fluctuates but to continuously pressure your clients is unprofessional when it's not absolutely necessary. They dismissed preventive care by not doing the simple dental cleaning that comes with check ups. Never again at this place. " Hello! I wanted to express my dissatisfaction with today's appointment. I took my morning off of work to do my check up which was 6months over due and no dental cleaning was done. I understand there was no new "cavities found" but you weren't sure since I need a deep cleaning ( which you mentioned many times). I've expressed my financial struggle and yet you still didn't bother to conduct a dental cleaning which comes with check ups. I was extremely shocked and your employee (Emily - I believe) had out the instruments out for the cleaning. I expressed the uncertainty for when I would be able to schedule the deep dental cleaning and it felt that you were pressuring me to do so by not completing the dental cleaning. I was in and out with in 25 minutes and paid for half the service (x rays) that my copay covers. With all this said, I think it's best I end my relationship with your Dentistry moving forward. I don't know when I will be able to schedule a deep cleaning since $400 as of now is not within budget after the year we endure. So my 6 month dental cleaning is VERY important to me. No matter how minuscule it may be but it's a lot for me and my financial and dental well being. I hope you could understand where I am coming from. I am not trying to take advantage of your services but asking for what I deserve as a customer and for the dental insurance I pay into. Thank you for your time. - Cindy Cerna "

It seems that Tommy Sediq chose both his staff and independents such as his periodontist with much care.. They were my answer to my fear of dentitry. They seems to be very professionll, current in their field. Most of all very fair in their pricing. Happy to have found them.

I first came to Mission Hills Modern Dentistry last year by chance when I needed to have my wisdom teeth removed. I had such a positive experience with the staff and location that I decided to return for standard dental care. The location is itself is modern and clean, the staff is caring and professional, and they have state-of-the art equipment and tools. It is difficult to find a quality dentist who isn't trying to sell you nonsense that you don't need. I felt well taken care of, my dental care needs were explained very clearly and in great detail, and I felt confident that I was on the right path. Dr. Sediq also listened to my questions carefully and gave me answers and options from which to choose. My hygienist was Zuhal, and she did excellent work while being very friendly and communicative about the cleaning procedure. Looking forward to being taken care of again in future visits.

All staff took excellent and gentle care of my 85 year old mom. Very convenient location with a lot of parking. Very clean and COVID safe office which made my mom feel at ease. Doctor, nurses and office manager all took the time to explain dental care and billing . I appreciated their kindness and willingness to make a connection with her. If you are looking for a new dental office I highly recommend Mission Hills Modern Dentistry.
