He is a really great dentist he does great work I couldn't get implants I just lost my daughter and my sister I couldn't afford implants so he wouldn't fix my teeth even tho I had two insurance coverage

Wonderful place with a lovely staff. I'm typically not a fan of the dentist, but then again who is? Yet, the dentist and the dental hygienists made me feel so comfortable. I made this dentist my official dental office! Thanks everyone :)

This is the best dentist I think I have ever had. Friendly, professional and really care about how I am. The dentist takes his time to talk to me, I don't think I ever had a dentist that takes the time to get to know me! Aria, the hygienist is so sweet, compassionate, fun and funny. They rushed my crown to be done before my vacation.. Thank you Mission Family dentist.

I have to share my experience with everyone . I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Zevallos and the whole staff at mission family dental. Dr zevallos is so friendly and truly makes me feel comfortable and safe with any dental decision I might have to make . He is flexible and understands my financial needs and tries his best to accommodate them . I got braces with him a few years ago and I had an amazing outcome , quick and easy process and I always get compliments about his work. I love how the staff is bilingual and so sweet . Jasminne is one of the assistants here and she truly knows what she is doing so it makes me feel very comfortable knowing I'm in good hands . If you are thinking about signing up as a new patient ..do it! You won't regret it !

This is one of those rare offices where you actually feel special when you walk in. Everyone says hello and genuinely seems happy to see you. It's a great group of people who go out of their way to be sure you're comfortable and understand the treatment offered. They put patients first and it shows with all of their 5-star reviews. I recommend you visit Dr. Miguel and his wonderful team! You'll be glad you did.

I rarely leave reviews, but Mission Family Dental is the best possible place you can go to to get your teeth taken care of. I've gone to several dentists over the years from Oregon to California and I have never been treated with more kindness, understanding, and been listened to as much as I have since being seen here. It took being seen here for me to realize that I genuinely had never had a good experience with other dentists (constantly being dismissed, belittled, ignored, made to feel I was over reacting, etc) but from the moment I stepped foot in their office, I felt such a warm welcome from everyone from front desk to chair. Because of the bad experiences ive had, i feel incredible anxiety going to the dentist but every person I've interacted with here heard my concerns and made me feel incredibly comfortable. Dr. Miguel Zevallos walked me through all my problem spots, heard my concerns and immediately talked me through plans to tackle the issues I was/am having. Any time I've brought up any additional concerns or questions, I feel heard and he either takes what I've said into consideration, or voices why it wouldn't be the best idea, which I've never had before. I would either be stopped in the middle of my sentence or had dentists just take a passing glance and tell me I was fine, but Dr. Zevallos takes the time to check out the issues thoroughly, and works quickly and efficiently. He works so quick I barely have any time to let my anxiety get the best of me and it's amazing. I've not stopped raving about how great this team is since Ive been seen to anyone who will hear me. Every single person I've met there has been an actual angel and every time I've gone in I've left feeling an overwhelming feeling of gratitude and feeling better than i came in. It's the first time in my life I've not been terrified to go to the dentist.

For years, I went from dentist to dentist inquiring the likelihood of ever having straight teeth. All of them told me the same. "you need braces" which is correct but there was deeper reasoning. I went to Dr. Zevallos thinking that he'd tell me the same... Only to stand corrected and amazed. He found something that no Dr. ever knew existed or that I knew of for that matter and thoroughly explained the cause and the effect. Dr. managed to solve a 10 year riddle for me, and that along with the amazing team allowed me to call mission family home.

Dr Miguel has helped my teeth more than any other dentist. I was in a lot of pain when I started going to him . I had some decay which is never good. But he He was able to take care of the problems I was having and did it so efficiently and pain free. Its amazing how much better I feel having my teeth fixed. I'm forever grateful to Dr Miguel and his wonderful staff. They are a great team, everyone is so kind and helpful. Totally recommend this place.

Great place to go if you need a dentist that really cares about his patients being comfortable. Dr Miguel did some dental work for me. He's so gentle and I couldn't be happier! Everyone is so friendly, they make you feel like family. Thank you mission family dental!!

waited 3 weeks to be seen for a broken tooth. Finally got in and wasn't seen for an hour past our appointment time. When he was finally seen the doctor didn't even look in his mouth. He told him he could not do that particular procedure and gave us a referral to another dentist. When I called the dentist, she said that she is not an in-network provider for us and she wishes they would "stop doing this to her and misleading patients". Do not recommend

I was in SLO for several months for an internship and was due for my annual dental check-up around that time. A friend had recommended Mission Family Dental to get this done, and I had a great experience there. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and welcoming. Dr. Zevallos was very charismatic and professional; he did a great job and I left the office feeling very clean and refreshed. Would definitely come back again.

I had a serious cavity that was causing me a lot of pain. I know because of the covid-19 pandemic there are no many doctors currently taking patients. However, a friend of mine told me Dr. Zevallos was taking emergency patients. When I went for my appointment they took my temperature, and both the doctor and the assistant were wearing protective year. Not only did they made me feel super safe that they are taking their precautions during these times, but the doctor was quick and did an awesome job with my issue. I highly recommend Dr. Zevallos, he's a caring professional with several years of experience.
